Landscape is an environment factor for improving life, a social resource for establishing image and identity of the area and also a tourist resource for earning profit. Rural landscape is essential resources to activity rural tourism and local economy. But like this rural village by the development which economic high growth and scientific technique is quick searched the features or customs of the farming village of city brazier past and to be strenuous it became. The classification in like this objective against the rural village resources in this time research it led and against the culture application plan which will reach to grope it tried. Though this results, The opportunity where rural sightseeing is activated expects becomes.

These days, the cruise tourist industry is one of the most dynamic and fastest growing components of the leisure industry in the world. Therefore, the cruise ship with ubiquitous technology is expected to enhance the operation efficiency of the ship. It can also provide valuable addition to the ship's service as well as high quality of life to crews and passengers. Since a large number of passengers are dwelling in cruise ship, all passengers are not easy to use ship's facilities, such as restaurants, fitness center, swimming pool and spa at anytime they want. In this paper, passenger service system in ship environment is tested in similar environment and under ship operation condition. We have proposed three applications of ubiquitous technology using Zigbee communication and LabView program.

VoIP(Voice over IP) is the technology to transport voice and video over IP networks such as Internet. Today, VoIP technology is viewed as the right choice for provide voice, video, and data communication over next generation network. We are sure that the multipoint VoIP will help enhancing the various application services in ubiquitous environment. The paper shows multipoint VoIP system implemented with end-point mixing model and introduces various embedded systems such as UFC(Ubiquitous Fashionable Computer), tourist guide terminal and industrial terminal which use the multipoint VoIP.

The global positioning system (GPS)-enabled mobile phones provide location-based applications such as car and pedestrian navigation services. The pedestrian navigation services provide safe and comfortable route and path guidance for pedestrians and handicapped or elderly people. One of the essential components for a navigation system is a spatial database used to perform navigation and routing functions. In this paper, we develop modeling and categorization of pedestrian path components for smart tour guide services using the mobile pedestrian navigation application. We create pedestrian networks using 2D base map and sky view map in urban area. We also construct pedestrian networks and attributes of node, link, and POI using on-site GPS data and photos for smart pedestrian tour guide in the major walking tourist spots in Jeju.

Marine casuality causes not only loss of lives and ships, but also severs damages to marine environment and related economic activities such as fishing industry, sea farming, and tourist industry. Basically, the great effort should be made to prevent the occurrence of maritime accidents by any means. However, once accident has occurred, the salvage works should be done rapidly and properly based on theoretical and technical informations, which could minimize the risk during salvage operation and the overall damage from the maritime accidents. Generally, to calculate accurate hydrostatics of a stranded ship, a large amount of input data is needed. But, an availability and a reliability of input data cannot be guaranteed in most situations, and the adequate time required for preparing all input data is not allowed to perform the timely operations of salvage. In this paper, the development process of simple computer program for salvage operation using limited input data is introduced and its application example is presented. This program was developed to provide technical support for planning salvage operations in the grounding accident.

In the present situation of national economy crisis, known as IMF, the hotel and tourist industry are undergoing financial difficulties. Particularly the hotel food and beverage business has experienced a significant reduction in sales. The results of the case study of the wheat noodle restaurant of the A hotel prompt for a change in business style and management. After researching menu, business records and other factors, it was recommended to open a new korean style restaurant in place of the current one. It was also recommended to include noodle dishes into menu in order to keep old customers. Besides, these changes, considering the fact that the noodle restaurant typically has a peak hour at lunch time, and the Korea one at dinner, will be quite practically useful in proper personal management in the service aspect.

The popularity of autonomous mobile robots have been rapidly increasing due to their new emerging application areas, from room cleaning, tourist guidance to space explorations. However, the development of a satisfactory control algorithm that will enable the autonomous mobile robots to navigate safely especially in dynamic environments is still an open research problem. In this paper, a newly proposed potential field based control method is implemented, analyzed, and improvements are suggested based on experimental results obtained from simulations. The experimental results are presented to show the effectiveness of the behavior-based control using the proposed potential field generation technique.

본 논문에서는 운전 중 스마트 폰 사용에 따른 위험도를 사전에 차단할 수 있는 스마트 폰 안전 애플리케이션을 설계 및 구현한다. 이 안전 앱은 운전 중 휴대전화 사용시 운전자의 집중력을 쉽고 자연스럽게 높여 안전 운전을 하는데 도움을 주기 위한 목적을 가지고 있다. 그러나 갑작스러운 상황이 발생해서 운전자가 운전을 포기하고 식사를 위해 이동한다든지 또는 관광지로 이동 할 경우에는 운전 중이라는 오류 텍스트를 계속 보낼 것이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 퍼지규칙을 이용한 교통안전 모의실험을 수행하였다. 모의실험 결과 정지 상태 및 차량 이동 상태를 정확하게 구분할 수 있으므로 스마트폰 안전 애플리케이션을 사용 했을 때에 갑작스러운 상황으로 운전을 포기하고 식사 및 휴식을 취하는 경우에 발생하는 자동 전송 메시지 오류를 크게 줄일 수 있을 것으로 예측되었다.

Purpose The emergence of mobile applications has simplified our life in various ways. Regarding tourism activities, mobile applications are already efficient in providing personalized tourism related information and are very much effective in booking hotels, flights, etc. However, there are very few studies on classifying the actual service requirements and improving the customer satisfaction in mobile tourism applications. The purpose of this study is to implement a practical mobile tourism application. To serve the purpose, we classify and categorize the service requirement of mobile tourism applications in Korea. We employed Kano model and analytic hierarchy process (AHP). Specifically, we conducted a focus group study to find out the service requirements in mobile tourism applications. Design/methodology/approach The data for this study were collected from Koreans and Foreigners who has the experience using mobile tourism applications. Participants needed to be familiar with mobile tourism applications because such users may be more aware of the mobile tourism applications services. We analyzed 147 valid data using Kano model and conducted AHP analysis on five experts in the field of tourism using Expert Choice software. Findings In this paper, we identified the 17 service quality requirements in the mobile tourism applications. The results reveal that the service requirement such as Geo-location map, Multilingual option, Compatibility with different operating systems were unavoidable service, absent of such requirements leads to the dissatisfaction. Based on the results of the integrated application of both Kano model and AHP analysis, this study provide specific implications for improving the service quality of the mobile tourism applications in Korea.
