Purpose - This study examined the influence relationships between the impacts of tourism development, local attachment, and resident involvement and local residents' support and pro-environmental behavior intentions in Jeju Island. Design/methodology/approach - A questionnaire was distributed to the Jeju Island residents and 373 samples were used for the analysis. Findings - The results showed that the perceived positive impact of tourism development has a positive effect on local residents' support, while the negative impact has a negative effect. Local attachment has no significant effect on local residents' support, while local involvement positively affects local residents' support. The positive impact of tourism development has a negative effect on pro-environmental behavior intention, while the perceived negative impact has a positive effect. Finally, when analyzing the relationship between local attachment, local involvement, and local support for eco-friendly behavior intention, it was found that they all have a positive effect. Research implications or Originality - Theoretical and managerial implications and suggestions for future research are discussed.

Purpose - With the improvement of people's living standards, traveling abroad has become a common way for people to release the pressure of life and work. In economics, this kind of way can affect the international trade. Because of this background, this paper sets BRICS countries as an example to explore the impact of cross-border tourism on bilateral trade. Research design, data, and Methodology - The annual time series data sets form 1998 to 2016 are used to perform an empirical analysis under a series of econometric approaches such as the Phillips-Perron test and the Engle-Granger two-step test. In this paper, the cross-border tourism and the bilateral trade will be used to conduct an empirical analysis based on the econometric approaches to analyze the impact of cross-border tourism on bilateral trade. Results - The finding of this paper show that there is a long-run relationship between cross-border tourism and bilateral trade in this sample. Moreover, the cross-border tourism is the Granger causality of bilateral trade. Namely, the cross-border tourism can promote the development of bilateral trade. Conclusions - In short, the evidences that this paper presents show that the cross-border tourism is a driving factor that impacts the bilateral trade in the sample of BRICS countries.

산업연관분석은 현재 관광산업의 경제적 파급효과를 분석하는 데 널리 사용되고 있다. 이 연구는 소득과 고용의 측면에서 지역개발에 영향을 미치는 농촌관광마을 육성사업의 경제적 파급효과를 분석하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 한국은행(2011)에서 작성한 산업연관표(2009)를 이용하여 농촌관광의 생산, 소득, 고용, 부가가치 승수를 도출하였다. 산업연관모형에 의한 경제적 파급효과 분석결과, 2011년 농촌관광개발로 인한 직간접 및 유발 생산파급액은 1조 3,872억 원, 소득파급액은 2,872억 원, 부가가치파급액은 2,754억 원, 고용자는 41,127명에 이르는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 음식점업의 생산과 고용승수는 타 산업에 비하여 높은 반면, 소득 및 부가가치승수는 타 산업에 비하여 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 음식점업이 노동집약적인 산업으로 고용창출효과가 높은 산업이라는 것을 시사해주고 있다.

The objective of this study is to introduce the concepts and theories of conditional heteroscedastic volatility models and the news impact curves and apply them to the Korea inbound tourism market. Three volatility models were introduced and used to estimate the conditional volatility of monthly arrivals of inbound tourists into Korea and news impact curves according to the three models. Results of this study are as follows. As the proportion of American tourists occupied a large amount of Korea inbound tourism market, the markets' forecasting is very important. The news impact curves which used EGARCH model (1,1) and TGARCH model(1,1), with data on these tourists to Korea showed an asymmetry effect of volatility. It was common that bad news means that it was estimated more sensitively than good news. From these results, we will notice that American tourists who visited Korea only for tourism are affected by good news. The result suggests that the Korea government and tourism industry should pay more attention to changes in the tourism environment following bad news because conditional volatility increases more when a negative shock occurs than when a positive shock occurs.

본 연구의 목적은 웰빙관광만족도와 삶의 질사이에서 웰니스의 매개효과를 살펴보는 것이다. 웰빙관광이 삶의 질에 최근 웰빙관광이 증가하고 있음에도 불구하고 웰빙관광의 동기요인들을 통한 웰빙관광의 만족도가 삶의 질에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 부족으로 인해 각 변인간의 영향 관계를 살펴보았다. 위와 같은 연구결과를 얻기 위하여 본 연구는 2021년 5월 10일부터 5월 21일까지 웰빙관광을 경험 해본 수도권 지역의 일반인 총 236명을 조사 대상으로 하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 웰빙관광동기요인은 웰빙관광만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 웰빙관광만족도는 삶의 질에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 웰니스는 웰빙관광만족도와 삶의 질 사이의 관계를 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 시사점은 웰니스의 매개변수를 활용하여 웰빙관광이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 규명하는데 있다. 이를 통해 웰빙관광이 웰니스를 추구하는 웰빙관광객들에게 긍정적인 영향을 주어 삶의 질이 제고된다는 것을 확인하여 일상생활의 피로감이나 코로나 장기화로 인한 피로감을 해소하는데 웰빙관광이 효과적이라는 점을 밝혀냄으로서 웰빙관광 활성화에 기여하였다.

Interests in tourism and leisure have increased with the quality of life in Korea. The government takes the lead in development of tourism for balanced development between regions and local governments use development of tourism as a means for vitalization of local economy. The sustainable and eco-friendly development plan is required for the tourism development, because it needs effective use of limited natural resources and consideration of environmental capacity in the region. This study analyzed the trend of tourism development during nine years, and problems with respect to planning and environment aspects on the basis of four examples which follow recent development trend. We suggest improvement plan that 1) establishment of consistency and systematics of tourism development, 2) enforcement of setting up regional tourism development plan, 3) comprehensive and systematic plan establishment in consideration of private sector, 4) reasonable adjustment and environmental management for development project of approval organization, 5) removal of duplicate regulations for development project. Application of the improvement plan while setting up tourism plan could contribute to vitalization of local economy, and environmental preservation and management.

본 연구에서는 디지털 기술이 문화 산업과 관광 발전에 미치는 중요한 영향을 조사하기 위한 연구를 제안한다. 2005년부터 2022년까지 중국 281개 도시의 디지털 음악 상품을 수집, 선별하고 데이터를 분석한 결과, 잘 알려진 디지털 음악 상품이 국내 관광 경제성장을 촉진하는 데 중요한 역할을 한다는 사실을 확인했다. 그러나 국제 관광경제에 미치는 영향은 크지 않다. 또한, 이러한 잘 알려진 디지털 음악 상품은 지역 관광 경제 발전을 촉진할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 인근 도시의 관광 경제에도 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 특히 문화 다양성과 관광 자원이 풍부한 4선 및 5선 도시에서는 잘 알려진 디지털 음악 상품의 홍보 효과가 더욱 중요하다. 전반적으로, 잘 알려진 디지털 음악 상품은 시장 활력을 자극하여 지역 관광 경제 발전을 촉진하는 데 긍정적인 역할을 한다. 이러한 연구 결과는 디지털 시대 문화와 관광의 통합적 발전을 위한 중요한 기반을 제공하고, 지역 산업구조 고도화와 지역 조화 발전에 유용한 영감을 제공한다.

The main purpose of the article is to determine the economic consequences of the impact of war on labor resources and tourism in terms of ensuring economic security. Today, in the context of Russia's invasion of the territory of Ukraine, an important aspect of people's lives is confidence in their safety. But no less important is the provision of economic security, its impact on the labor and tourism aspects of this type of security, the negative impact on which is carried out under the influence of war. Modern society is faced with the same problems that were a hundred years ago: technological progress, the balance of power in the world community, social problems, military conflicts. In the modern development of society, no one can deny the amazing scientific progress in new technologies and communications.That is why it is important to understand how dangerous war is not only for human life, but also for the economy of the state, its labor and tourism aspects.

본 연구에서는 금강소나무숲길을 사례로 지역주민의 관광영향지각, 환경태도, 참여를 조사하고, 상관관계를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 관광의 사회적 문화적 환경적(긍정) 영향지각은 긍정적인 반면 경제적 환경적(부정) 영향지각은 부정적으로 평가되었다. 둘째, 환경태도는 매우 우호적인 반면 시설중심의 관광개발에 대해서는 비우호적인 태도를 보였다. 셋째, 주민참여는 긍정적인 반면 그에 따른 경제적 편익은 낮게 평가되었다. 넷째, 항목 간의 상관관계는 환경태도가 우호적일수록 경제적 문화적 영향지각 수준이 높았고, 주민참여에 대해 긍정적일수록 경제적 환경적(긍정) 영향지각 수준이 높았다. 끝으로 지속가능한 발전을 위해 현재의 운영체제가 유지되어야 하며, 낙후된 편의시설, 취약한 접근성, 부족한 연계 관광코스, 편중된 경제적 편익 등이 개선되어야 한다.
