도로 종단선형에 따른 도로교통 소음 특성 분석 (Characteristic of Road Traffic Noise According to Road Vertical Alignment)

  • PURPOSES: The purpose of this study is to research the influence of road traffic noise by road slope through the analysis of the field road traffic noise and determine consideration of road slope in the case of appling active noise cancellation. METHODS: This study measures vehicle's noise by the NCPX method at the three field sections such as uphill, downhill, and flatland. Total sound pressure and sound pressure level by the 1/3 octave band frequency are calculated through the raw field data. Total sound pressure level is compared by ANOVA test and T test statistically. The results obtained are compared in accordance with the road slope and the progress of the uphill section. RESULTS : The noise characteristic of early, medium, and last parts of uphill was found to be consistent when the vehicle was travelling uphill section. The result of statistical test, it was shown that total sound pressures are not different each other. According to the comparison by the geometry, sound pressure of the uphill section was higher than those of the flatland and downhill section in high frequency band. By the result of statistical test, total sound pressure are different according to geometry in the case of high vehicle speed. In the comparison result by road slope, each sound pressure level was found to be consistent in total frequency. However, total sound pressure proportionally increased according to road slope. CONCLUSIONS: It is found that the effect of road slope on noise generation was little in this experimental sites.

초음속 역분사 유동이 초음속 비행체 성능에 미치는 영향에 대한 수치해석적 연구 (A Numerical Analysis of Supersonic Counter Jet Flow Effect on Performance of a Supersonic Blunt-Body)

  • The counter jet flow which is injected against the free stream at stagnation region of blunt body for improvement of aerodynamic performance has been studied by using upwind Navier-Stokes method. The variations of drag force and upwind forward penetration depth due to changes in the stagnation thermodynamic properties of counter jet flow such as total pressure, Mach number, and total temperature have been studied. The results show that the changes in the stagnation pressure and Mach number have large effects on the wall pressure and drag force, but the total temperature does not affect the wall pressure and drag force.

Effect of Difference in Warm-Up Intensity During 75%1RM Bench Press Exercise on Number of Repetitions, Total Work, and RPP

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the intensity of warm-up exercise on the physiological response and exercise performance during resistance exercise. For this purpose, 8 male college students with at least 1 year of experience in resistance movement were selected. The warm-up condition was set to NON condition (preparatory exercise not performed), 3 set condition, 6 set condition, and 9 set condition, and the intensity was different for each set. After warm-up, 75% 1RM of main exercise was performed, and blood pressure and heart rate were measured immediately after exercise to measure RPP. The number of repetitions and total work for each condition were measured as the number of repetitions and momentum during the main exercise. The measured data were analyzed by repeated measures two-way ANOVA. As a result, although there was no difference in Rate Pressure Product according to the warm-up conditions, the number of repetitions and total amount of exercise showed the highest in the 3-set condition. Therefore, it is thought that the number and intensity of warm-up exercises should be set appropriately during resistance exercise, and warm-up of 3 sets or more during resistance exercise is thought to decrease exercise performance.

Effects of Resistance Exercise with Pressure Biofeedback Unit on the Gait Ability and Knee Joint Function in Subject with Total Knee Replacement Patients

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to verify the effect of applying a pressure biofeedback unit on walking ability and knee joint function while performing knee joint extensor strengthening exercises using resistance exercise equipment in total knee replacement (TKR) patients. Methods: This study was conducted on twelve patients receiving rehabilitation treatment after being admitted to a rehabilitation hospital post-TKR. Of these, six were allocated to a feedback group with a pressure biofeedback unit, and the other 6 were allocated to a control group without a pressure biofeedback unit. The subjects performed an exercise program for 45 minutes per session, five times a week, for two weeks. Walking ability and knee joint function were evaluated and analyzed before and after exercise. Results: The feedback group showed significantly better improvements in walking speed, gait cycle, step length on the non-operation side, time on the foot on the operation side, K-WOMAC stiffness, and K-WOMAC function than the control group (p<0.05). Conclusion: When strengthening the knee joint extensor muscles using resistance exercise equipment in TKR patients, the provision of a pressure biofeedback unit was found to improve walking ability and knee joint function by inducing concentric-eccentric contraction of the knee joint extensor muscles. Therefore, the study shows that exercise based on the provision of a pressure biofeedback unit should be considered when strengthening knee joint extensor muscles to improve the walking ability and knee joint function of TKR patients in clinical practice.

제주 해녀의 식이성 톳 섭취를 통한 혈압 및 총콜레스테롤 감소 효과 (The Effect of Dietary Hizikia Fusiforme on the Reduction of Blood Pressure and Total Cholesterol in Jeju Women Divers)

  • 본 연구에서는 제주 해녀를 대상으로 식이성 톳 섭취가 혈압 및 총콜레스테롤 변화에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 20명의 현직해녀지원자를 10명씩 나누어 톳 섭취 집단과 톳을 섭취하지 않을 집단으로 구분한 후, 8주 간톳 섭취 집단에게 일일 100g의 식이성 톳을 밥과 함께 섭취케 하여 차이를 비교하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 톳을 섭취한 집단의 수축기 혈압은 유의하게 감소하였다. 둘째, 이완기 혈압은 두 집단 모두 유의한 감소를 보였으며, 집단 간 차이는 없었다. 셋째, 수축기-이완기 혈압 차이는 톳을 섭취한 집단은 유의한 감소를 보였으며, 톳을 섭취하지 않은 집단은 증가하였다. 넷째, 총콜레스테롤은 톳을 섭취한 집단에서 유의한 감소가 나타났지만 톳을 섭취하지 않은 집단은 증가하였다. 이상의 결과는 톳을 일일 100g씩 밥과 함께 섭식함으로써 총콜레스테롤 감소 및 수축기 혈압 감소에 효과가 있었음을 나타낸다.

큰 개구부를 가진 단일구획 빌딩에서의 자연환기 모델의 개발 (Development of a Natural Ventilation Model in a Single Zone Building with Large Openings)

  • A model has been developed to predict natural ventilation in a single zone building with large openings. This study first presents pressure-based equations on natural ventilation, that include the combined effect of wind and thermal buoyancy. Moreover, the concept of neutral pressure level(NPL) is introduced to consider the two-way flow through a large opening. The total pressure differences across the opening and the NPL are calculated, and nonlinear equations are solved to find the zonal pressure to satisfy mass conservation. For this analysis, an iterative technique of successively approximating the zonal pressure is used. The results of applying this study model to several simple cases are as follows. When there is no wind and only the stack effect is caused, a one-way flow occurs in both the top and bottom openings in the case of two openings of equal-area, and a one-way flow occurs in the top opening; however, a two-way flow occurs in the bottom opening in the case of two openings of unequal-area. When there is a wind effect, regardless of whether the outside air temperature is lower or higher than the indoor air temperature, air flows into the room through the bottom opening and out of the room through the top opening. As the wind velocity increases, the wind effect appears to be more influential than the stack effect owing to the temperature difference.

지르칼로이-4의 고온 수증기 산화에서 압력효과

  • In the severe accident case like LOCA, Zircaloy(Zry) claddings are oxidized not only in high temperature but also in high pressures. It is a concem whether the safety of high bum up fuels can be maintained during severe accident. The effects of steam pressure on Zry-4 oxidation, and the effect of prc-existing oxide layer on the cladding in the high temperature-high pressure oxidation of Ziy-4 were investigated. The experimental temperature range was $700-900^{\circ}C$, and the pressures were between 0.1 and l5.0MPa. Partial pressure of steam tumed out to be the important one rather than total gas pressure. The higher the steam pressure was applied, the thicker the oxide became. nle effect of st,earn pressure on the oxidation of claddings with preexisting oxide was about 40-60% less effective than that of pickled cladding. Aocelerated oxidation in highpressure slean1 seems to be originated from the formation of microcracks produced during the transformation of tetragonal zirconia to monoclinic phase. Steam pressure seems to affect the stability of tetragonal phase.

축류압축기 익렬에서의 역류 유동 특성에 대한 수치적 연구 (Numerical Study on Reverse Flow Charcteristics in an Axial Compressor Cascade)

  • Numerical simulation is performed with Denton's code to get pressure loss coefficients in wide range of reverse flow incidence(from -90 degree to +85 degree) for an axial compressor cascade. As a results, it is found that the pressure loss coefficient is increased with incidence and there exist critical incidence which corresponds to the maximum pressure loss coefficient. Pressure loss coefficient with bigger incidence than its critical value is decreased. The effect of increasing incidence in a cascade extremely reduce the mass flow rate by the large flow separation region. Consequently this effect reduce the portion of dynamic pressure in the total pressure loss and beyond the critical incidence the pressure loss coefficient decrease.

  • Reactive ion etching of Pt thinfilm was studied using $CCl_2F_2$, Ar, and $O_2$ . Etch rate of the Pt increased as the total pressure decreases and the RF power increased, while the flow rate of $CCl_2F_2$ had little effect on the Pt etch rate. Addition of $O_2$ had no effect on Pt etch rate up to 20% $O_2$ Selectivity between Pt and photoresist increased as the pressure decreased and the RF power increased, making it possible to pattern a thicker Pt layer with a thinner photoresist. A maximum etch rate of 300$\AA$/min was obtained at $CCl_2F_2$ flow rate of 20 sccm. RF power of 400 W, and the total pressure of 60mTorr.

변방우황청심원(變方牛黃淸心元) 환제(丸劑) 및 현탁액(懸濁液)에 대(對)한 임상적(臨床的) 고찰(考察) (A Clinical Study on the Woohwangchungsim-won pills, suspension)

  • We performed the effect of Woohwangchungsim-won suspension (group A), pills(group B) in patients with circulatory system disease. Total 63 patients were classified into group A and group B. The results obtained were as follows ; 1. The highest effect was showed that group A was blood pressure, group B was anxiety, the lowest effect was showed that group A was insomnia, group B was blood pressure. 2. Generally, pills was somewhat higher than suspension, but suspension was somewhat higher in more than good effect. 3. In depressed blood pressure, group A, group B were 82.6%, 63.6% in fair effect and more respectively. 4. There was no side effect in overall cases.
