  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of children's age and their fathers' childrearing involvement on the social morality of young children. Methods: The data were gathered from parents who had 3-5 year old children enrolled in daycare centers and from their daycare teachers. The parents answered questions about their children's socio-demographic background and the father's childrearing involvement. And the teachers rated children's social morality. The data from a total of 245 questionnaires were analyzed by SPSS 25.0. Results: First, there was a statistically significant difference between young children's morality score and convention score. Young children's morality scores were higher than their convention scores. Second, children's age was a significant influential factor on both their moral and conventional social morality. Third, father's care-discipline had the only impact on children's conventional social morality. That is, children's social morality was higher when their fathers gave them more care and guidance. Forth, an interaction effect between children's age and father's development-support on children's conventional social morality was found. Conclusion/Implications: The results from this study suggest that a differentiated approach is needed according to the types of childrearing involvement of fathers in order to improve children's social morality.

The study aims to identify and measure the impact of collective bargaining on the income of employees in enterprises. Participants were given a questionnaire consisting of 21 observation variables with a 5-point Likert scale. Independent variables were measured from 1 "without effect" to 5 "strongly". Based on the literature review and results of interviews, a total of 285 questionnaires were sent to participants in 95 enterprises in three typical fields: industry, construction, textile, and garment; 255 of them met the standards and were subject to be analyzed. We use qualitative research methods combined with quantitative research methods. SPSS20 software is used to synthesize and analyze data. The results of Cronbach's alpha, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Multiple Regression Analysis (MRA) identify, the objective for collective bargaining (MT), time to organize collective bargaining (TD), the competence of the parties of the collective bargaining (NL), collective bargaining organization process (QT) are positively correlated with the income of workers in enterprises; information provided for collective bargaining (TT) has a negative correlation with the income of employees in enterprises. Based on the findings, some suggestions have been given for collective bargaining to increase the income of employees in enterprises in Vietnam.

  • Nigeria is a country with multiple ethnic groups; as a result, English language is used as a lingua franca to enhance information flow. Despite this, the Indigenous languages of communities are mostly used for interactions, even in university environments thereby affecting smooth interaction for those who do not understand them. This study therefore investigated the impact of being a linguistic outsider on information access, learning and social wellbeing of students. Descriptive research of a case study was used for this study. The population for this study consisted of non-Yoruba indigenous students. Judgmental sampling technique was used to select 50 non-indigenous students; structured interview was used. Results showed that Yoruba indigenous language was used lightly in the classroom and heavily outside the classroom, with mixtures of pidgin and English languages. It was found that being a linguistic outsider had a negative influence on information access. However it was not a total dependent factor to social wellbeing of students who desire for their various languages to be predominantly used and for them to enjoy equal benefits with Yoruba indigenes. This study also revealed that being a linguistic outsider does not have negative influence on academic learning. It was recommended that the stakeholders in university management promote the complete use of English language in the classroom while students should be encouraged to interpret Yoruba language when spoken in the midst of non-indigenes.

  • This study aimed to identify the effects of sports participation motives, the involvement in choosing sportswear, and the satisfaction with/perceived importance of sportswear functionality, on customers' repurchase intentions. A total of 185 survey questionnaires were analyzed after surveying 200 female undergraduates in their 20s. The research results are as follows. First, the participation motives for sports were categorized as follows. A factor analysis conducted on 13 questions yielded 4 factors. Factor 1 included consideration about socializing and pleasure, factor 2 privileged ostentation, factor 3 was concerned with enhancing health, and factor 4 was about maintaining appearance. Second, the various effects of different sports participation motives, of the satisfaction with functionality, and of the involvement in buying sportswear on customers' repurchase intentions were analyzed. The intention to repurchase sportswear was considered as a dependent variable, while the motives for participating in sports, the satisfaction with functionality, and the level of involvement were treated as independent variables. A multiple regression analysis using these variables showed that the satisfaction with functionality and involvement in choosing sportswear had a significant impact on the intention to repurchase sportswear. Third, looking at how different participation motives for sports affected the importance of sportswear functionality, the motives related to socializing and pleasure and ostentation, the sub-factors in sports participation motives, significantly increased the importance of comfort. Motives related to enhancing health and maintaining appearance, on the other hand, were found to affect the importance of sports performance. Fourth, a MANOVA was performed to examine the difference in the importance of functionality between those consumers highly involved in sportswear-buying and those less involved. Those with a high level of involvement were found to prioritize sports performance over comfort. Those with a low level of involvement were shown to place a greater emphasis on comfort.
