트랙터 전동라인의 전동효율 특성 분석 (Characteristics of Power Efficiency of Tractor Driveline)

  • According to the field test, the transient power transmission efficiency of a tractor driveline fluctuated in a range of 56 to 86% and the mean value was about 72.5%. Therefore, the constant efficiency model commonly used for a simulation of power performance was not proper far predicting such a variable of efficiency. In order to predict power efficiency more accurately, new concepts of the maximum efficiency and drag torque were introduced and a new model based on the these concepts was proposed. The difference between measured and model-predicted efficiencies was about 1.5% in average with a standard deviation of 1.1%. The new power efficiency model was expected to enhance the accuracy of predicting power transmission efficiencies of tractor drivelines.

LDV를 이용한 토크컨버터 내 유동의 실험적 분석 (Experimental Analyses of Flow in a Production Torque Converter Using LDV)

  • LDV(laser Doppler velocimetry) measurements were conducted on the exit region of the impeller passage and the gap between the impeller and turbine blades under 0.8 speed ratio. The 0.8 speed ratio has an impeller speed of 2000rpm and a turbine speed of 1600rpm. A periodic variation of the mass flow rate is present in many of the measurements made. The frequency of this variation is the same as the frequency of the turbine blades passing the impeller passage exit. It is found that the instantaneous position of the turbine had effect on fluid flow inside the impeller passage and gap region. This study would aid in the construction of higher accuracy CFD models of this complex turbomachinery device.

헬리콥터 로터 시험장치의 개발 및 공력소음특성의 측정 (Development of a Helicopter Rotor Test Rig and Measurement of Aeroacoustic Characteristics)

  • 본 논문에서는 축소형실험을 통하여 제자리 비행하는 헬리콥터 주로터에서 발생하는 소음의 특성을 측정하는 실험을 수행하였다. 이를 위하여 구동장치에서의 발생소음이 적은 저소음 로터시험장치를 설계/제작하였으며, 아울러 로터의 공력특성을 측정하기 위하여 작동조건에서의 회전수, 추력 및 토크를 함께 계측하였고 이에 대한 문제점을 검토하였다. 사용된 하중 측정장치의 교정을 통하여 이의 정확도를 확인하였으며, 두개의 블레이드로 구성된 직경 1.2m의 축소형 로터를 이용한 실험에서 측정된 추력값이 이론적 계산값과 비교하여 비교적 잘 일치함을 알 수 있었으나 토크 측정값은 잘 일치하지 않음을 확인하였다. 소음 측정실험을 통하여 로터 구동장치로 인한 배경소음이 로터 소음에 비하여 현저히 작음을 확인하였고, 각 로터 발생소음원의 특성에 따라 날개끝 속도에 의하여 달리 무차원화 됨을 확인하였고 방향성 특성도 변화함을 확인하였다.

  • This study was carried out to obtain the information needed in the development of forward speed control system and the improvement of combine performance. The effects of variety, grain moisture content and forward speed on the combine load characteristics were investigated through experiments. The results of this study are summarized as follows. 1. A data acquisition system was developed to measure the engine speed and the torques and speeds of the threshing cylinder, dean-grain auger and tailings-return auger. The system consisted of transducers, signal conditioner, interface board and microcomputer. The system accuracy is better than ${\pm}2.3%$ full scale. 2. Linear regression equations were obtained for the torque, speed and power requirement of threshing cylinder for different paddy varieties, grain moisture contents and feed rates. 3. The maximum value of relative frequency for threshing cylinder torque decreased as the increase in feed rate and moisture content. The range of torque fluctuation was 1.2~3.7 and 1.2~1.9 times the average and maximum torque, respectively. The maximum value of power spectrum density (PSD) appeared to be about 11 Hz regardless of paddy variety, grain moisture content and feed rate. 4. The speed of tailings return thrower decreased rapidly at below 900rpm, and it fell to near zero about 3 seconds after that time. When the travelling of combine harvester was stopped immediately after sensing the overload, it took about 7 seconds for a full recovery of the no-load speed of tailings return thrower.

인공위성의 동역학과 토크 외란을 고려한 큐브위성의 식 기간 자세추정 (Attitude determination of cubesat during eclipse considering the satellite dynamics and torque disturbance)

  • 인공위성의 자세추정은 결정론적 방법과 재귀적인 방법으로 나눌 수 있는데, 이 중 재귀적인 방법으로는 칼만 필터를 사용하여 자세를 추정하는 알고리즘이 널리 사용되고 있다. 초소형 큐브 위성의 경우 많은 탑재체를 실을 수 없기에 최소한의 자세 센서만을 이용해야 하는 제한점이 있다. 미션에 따라 식 기간 및 태양 센서의 데이터 이용이 불가능할 때에도 인공위성의 자세추정은 계속 되어야 인공위성은 임무를 성공적으로 완수할 수 있게 된다. 본 연구에서는 일반적인 인공위성의 자세추정 기법을 기반으로 큐브위성의 동역학과 토크외란을 고려하여 알고리즘을 발전시켜 식 기간에서도 더욱 정확한 자세 추정이 가능하도록 하였다. 제안된 알고리즘은 시뮬레이션을 통해 기존의 자세추정 방법과 비교하여 그 성능을 검증하였다. 또한 위성체가 우주 환경에서 운용되면서 받을 수 있는 다양한 크기의 토크외란에 따른 자세추정 오차를 분석하였다.

장구형 웜 나사의 절삭 엔드밀 공구 형상에 따른 치형 정밀도 분석 (Analysis of Tooth Profile Accuracy of Enveloping Worm Thread Depending on End Mill Tool Shape)

  • Cylindrical worm reducers are generally used in various fields and forms throughout the industry, and demand is increasing due to their role as an integral part of the industry. Market trends require high-load, high-precision components, and small-sized reducers with large loads. When using a cylindrical worm reducer, a reducer designed with a reduced center distance while maintaining the same output torque results in gear wear. To overcome this difficulty, an enveloping worm gear reducer is introduced and studied. In this paper, three types of end mill tools are used to evaluate the tooth profile accuracy for each tool shape during machining of the tooth profile for a non-developed surface worm thread. The effect of the endmill shape on the accuracy of the tooth profile was analyzed by performing 3D modeling of the surrounding worm tooth profile based on the Hindley method. In this study, we analyzed tooth profile accuracy, tooth surface roughness, and tooth surface machining time, etc. Through the study, efficient machining conditions for the enveloping worm gears and the influence of parameters on the process were presented.

  • Samsung Electronics has developed high performance velocity and position controller for induction motors, and succeeded in mass production for the first time in Korea. Dynamic performance and final control accuracy of the controller are equivalent to those of AC servo motor controller. At present, we adopted the controller as spindle motor drive for Samsung CNC systems, and expect its wide use in industry as general purpose velocity and position controller for induction motor.

A Finite Element Formulation for Vibration Analysis of Rotor Bearing System

  • To get accurate vibration analysis of rotor-bearing systems, finite element models of high speed rotating shaft, unbalance disk, and fluid film journal bearing are developed. The study includes the effects of rotary inertia, gyroscopic moment, damping, shear deformation, and axial torque in the same model. It does not include the axial force effect, but the extension is straighforward. The finite elements developed can be used in the analysis design of any type of multiple rotor bearing system. To show the accuracy of the models, numerical examples are demonstrated.
