  • In this paper, it is proposed the the SCADA(Supervisory control and Data Acquisition) system in Apartment complex. The proposed SCADA system make use of the computer CRT(Cathod RAy Tube), which automatically observe the Electrical Facility, Elvator Facility, Fire Alarm Facility and process in the real-time data. In order to improve the hardware performance and the information process, the SCADA system composed of master-slave topology and decentralized the supervisory Facility. This system is expected the retrenchment of construction expenditure and the level-up of supervisory execution.

  • A single-phase PWM current source rectifier with a neutral leg is presented and throughly analyzed in this paper. This novel topology is implemented by adding an extra leg a step-down single phase PWM space vector modulation method to reduce the dc output voltage harmonics is proposed. The PWM pattern generation need a digital system. As compared with a conventional single-phase PWM rectifier, over 20% improvement of the total harmonics distortion in the output voltage can be obtained. Different SVM techniques are analyzed for this PWM rectifier and simulation result are presented.

  • Dynamic Neural Unit(DNU) based upon the topology of a reverberating circuit in a neuronal pool of the central nervous system. In this thesis, we present a genetic DNU-control scheme for unknown nonlinear systems. Our methodis different from those using supervised learning algorithms, such as the backpropagation (BP) algorithm, that needs training information in each step. The contributions of this thesis are the new approach to constructing neural network architecture and its trainin.

  • 본 논문에서는 영전압 스위칭에 의해 스위칭 손실과 전압 스트레스로 줄이는 토폴로지를 제안하였다. 일반적으로 스위칭 모드 변환시에는 과도한 전압과 전류가 기생 성분에 의해서 발생하는데 이것은 전압 스트레스와 전력 손실을 발생시켜 전원 장치의 성능에 영향을 미치어 전체 효율이 감소한다. 실제로 플라이백 컨버터에서 스위치의 천이 첨두 전압과 전류는 기생성분에 의해서 발생한다. 이러한 문제를 보완하기 위하여 보조회로를 이용한 영전압 스위칭 플라이백 컨버터를 제안한다. 기존의 플라이백 토폴로지에 보조 회로를 추가하여 전력 손실을 감소시키고 스위칭 전압 스트레스를 최소로 하였다. 보조 회로 내에 스너버 캐패시터는 주 스위치의 온·오프시 제어 전압 변화시간에 의해 영전압 스위칭을 가능하게 하여 전압 스트레스 및 전력 손실을 감소시킨다. 본 논문에서는 회로의 세부적인 분석을 하고 동작과정을 설명하였고 500W, 100㎑ 대의 보조회로를 사용한 영전압 스위칭 플라이백 컨버터를 설계하여 기존의 하드 스위칭 플라이백 컨버터와의 효율을 비교하였다.

Energy-Aware Preferential Attachment Model for Wireless Sensor Networks with Improved Survivability

  • Recent years have witnessed a dramatic increase in topology research of wireless sensor networks (WSNs) where both energy consumption and survivability need careful consideration. To balance energy consumption and ensure survivability against both random failures and deliberate attacks, we resort to complex network theory and propose an energy-aware preferential attachment (EPA) model to generate a robust topology for WSNs. In the proposed model, by taking the transmission range and energy consumption of the sensor nodes into account, we combine the characters of Erdős -Rényi (ER) model and Barabasi-Albert (BA) model in this new model and introduce tunable coefficients for balancing connectivity, energy consumption, and survivability. The correctness of our theoretic analysis is verified by simulation results. We find that the topology of WSNs built by EPA model is asymptotically power-law and can have different characters in connectivity, energy consumption, and survivability by using different coefficients. This model can significantly improve energy efficiency as well as enhance network survivability by changing coefficients according to the requirement of the real environment where WSNs deployed and therefore lead to a crucial improvement of network performance.

  • An engine cradle is a quite important structural assembly for supporting the engine, suspension and steering parts of vehicle and absorbing the vibrations during the drive and the shock in the car crash. Recently, the engine cradle having structural stiffness enough to support the surrounding parts and absorbing the shock of collision has been widely used. The hydroforming technology may cause many advantages to automotive applications in terms of better structural integrity of parts, reduction of production cost, weight reduction, material saving, reduction in the number of joining processes and improvement of reliability. We focus on increasing the durability and the dynamic performance of engine cradle. For realizing this objective, several optimization design techniques such as shape, size, and topology optimization are performed. This optimization scheme based on the sensitivity can provide distinguished performance improvement in using hydroforming.

공구 중심점의 변위 최소화를 위한 문형 공작기계의 크로스레일 개선 연구 (The Displacement Minimization of the tool Center Point by the Crossrail Structure Improvement of the Portal Machine)

  • General portal machine represents a distinct weak spot concerning their structural behavior because of long protruding structure components, such as saddles and rams. The weak point causes the deformation of the machine tool and consequently rises a severe machining error. The purpose of this study is to improve the structural design of crossrail in order to minimize it's distortion. Tool Center Point (TCP) was chosen as a reference point for evaluating the distortion effect of a crossrail and topological optimization was adopted as a method of structural design improvement. The displacements of TCP according to the machining positions were investigated by structural analyses for both of original crossrail design and the improved one. The comparing results showed that the displacement of TCP could be reduced about 55% maximum.

메시 기반 GPU 마칭큐브 (Mesh-based Marching Cubes on the GPU)

  • 본 논문에서는 삼각형 집합(triangle soup)형식의 등가면(isosurface)을 추출하는 기존의 마칭큐브 기법을 개선하여, 연결된 메시(connected mesh)형식으로 추출하는 실시간 기법을 제안한다. 이를 통해 기존에는 불가능했던 다양한 렌더링 기법을 사용하여 동적으로 변하는 등가면을 렌더링할 수 있고, 등가면의 위상(topology)과 기하(geometry) 정보 등을 추출할 수 있다. 또한 지오메트리 셰이더 (geometry shader) 에서 사용하는 인접 삼각형 형태의 구조 (GL_TRIANGLES_ADJACENCY)를 생성하여 보다 다양한 셰이딩 기법을 지원한다. 본 기법은 기존 마칭큐브에 삼각형들을 연결하는 후처리 과정을 추가한 기법에 비해 300% 정도의 향상된 등가면 추출 속도를 보인다.

저토크리플 및 역률개선을 위한 수정된 단상 SRM 구동시스템 (Modified Single-Phase SRM Drive for Low Torque Ripple and Power Factor Improvement)

  • The single-phase switched reluctance motor(SRM) drive requires DC source which is generally supplied through a rectifier connected with a commercial source. The rectifier is consist of a diode full bridge and a filter circuit. Usually the filter circuit uses capacitor with large value capacitance to reduce ripple component of DC power. Although the peak torque ripple of SRM is small, the short charge and discharge current of the filter capacitor draws the low power factor and system efficiency. A modified single phase SRM drive system is presented in this paper, which includes drive circuit realizing reduction of torque ripple and improvement of power factor. In the proposed drive circuit, one switching part and diode which can separate the output of AC/DC rectifier from the filter capacitor is added. Also, a upper switch of drive circuit is exchanged a diode in order to reduce power switching device. Therefore the number of power switch device is not changed, two diodes are only added in the SRM drive. To verify the proposed system, some simulation and experimental results are presented.

  • In the single-phase switched reluctance motor (SRM) drive, the required DC source is generally supplied by the circuit consisting of bridge rectifier with diodes and many filter capacitances connected with AC source. Although the peak torque ripple of SRM is small because of large capacity of the capacitance, the charge and discharge time swhich the AC source acts on the capacitance are small and the peak current will pass on the side of source, so power factor and system efficiency decrease. Therefore a novel SRM drive system is presented in this paper, which includes drive circuit realizing reduction of torque ripple and improvement of power factor and switching topology. The proposed drive circuit consists of one switching part and diodes which can separate the output of AC/DC rectifier from the large capacitance and supply power to SRM alternately in order to realize reduction of torque ripple and improvement of power factor through the turn on and turn off of switching part. In addition, the validity of method is tested by simulation and experiment.
