A Study on Opening of Commercially Available Nursing-wear (시판 수유복의 트임에 관한 연구)

  • As interest grows in nursing-wear in accordance with dissemination of breast-feeding, a study on opening of nursing-wear is needed to enhance convenience of breast-feeding regardless of location. In this study, the items on nursing-wear were classified and each characteristic was analyzed. The types and characteristics of opening on nursing-wear were identified and the characteristics of nursing brassier closely related to the nursing-wear were also identified. Top 5 companies for the nursing-wear and nursing-brassier were selected by ranking top 5 in NAVER with the search word 'nursing-wear' and 'nursing-brassier'. 732 one-piece and top (t-shirt and blouse) which have the highest portion in the nursing-wear were selected as the subject. Based on the photo, product explanation on the internet and in-depth interview of designer, the types and characteristics of openings for each item were identified. 732 nursing-brassier were selected to study the types and openings in breast-feeding. The result is as follows. Firstly, the item of nursing-wear can be classified into top, one-piece, package of top and the bottom, and sleeveless. Top and one-piece have the highest production rate. Secondly, the types of the openings are either covering or opening types. There are vertical-slit and horizontal-slit in covering type, and vertical-zipper, horizontal-zipper, and button types in opening type, and overlap and pocket type for the rest. Thirdly, the commercially available nursing-brassier according to the opening manner can be classified into upper-opening, middle-opening, and overlap types. Most largely produced product is upper-opening type as it minimizes the exposure of the breast in breast-feeding. When producing the nursing-brassier, the measurement of the lower breast and cup size are considered.

  • In this paper, we propose DLP(Dual Linear Polarization) antenna with aperture coupled feeding structure for private network. The proposed antenna has general aperture coupled structure and design two port between top and bottom layer to obtain the enhanced isolation. Also, The size of each substrate(top and bottom layer) is 34.0 mm(W)×34.0 mm(L), which is designed on the FR-4 substrate which thickness (h) is 1.0 mm, and the dielectric constant is 4.4. Also, the size of patch antenna is 12.70 mm(W2)×14.60 mm(L3), and it is located on the top layer. The size of feeding line is 24.0 mm(W2)×1.6 mm(L3), and is located at the bottom layer Also, rectangular slot is located on the ground plane between top layer and bottom layer. From the fabrication and measurement results, bandwidths of 300 MHz (4.52 to 4.82 GHz) for feeding port 1, and 170 MHz (4.65 to 4.82 GHz) for feeding port 2 are obtained on the basis of -10 dB return loss and transmission coefficient S21 is got under the -30 dB. A Study on Feed Dog Motion of a Lock Stitch Sewing Machine (본봉용 재봉기의 톱니 운동에 관한 연구)

  • This study discusses the feed dog feeding mechanism of an industrial lock stitch sewing machine, which is a good example to study a machine kinematics. The feed dog feeding mechanism makes the fabrics directly be fed by an elliptic motion of the feed dog that is moved by a rotation of the top shaft and controlled by the feeding control mechanism. This study makes mathematical expressions of machine's motion in the feed dog feeding mechanism. Thus, the motions of this mechanism are characterized, namely how an elliptic motion of the feed dog is affected by the feeding control mechanism. Therefore, the above mathematical expressions may be a basis for the new design of the feed dog feeding mechanism and may be adapted to analysis. Development of the similar feed dog feeding mechanism can be applied to other type sewing machine.

  • The top shell, Omphalius rusticus (Gastropoda: Trochidae), is marine mollusk inhabiting underneath a rock in the intertidal zone of the coasts of Korea and Japan, and it is one of the edible gastropods. This species is a herbivorous animal. Up to now, there have been some reports on the Trochidae: aspects of classification, spawning periodicity, production, growth and size-frequency distribution of living populations, feeding, reproductive cycle, and induction of larval metamorphosis.   • The silkworm feeding behaviour reveals two types of feeding response i. e., energetic and inert feeding response to diet. These two new technical terms are being introduced in the present study. The structures of functional organs of mouthpart and antenna of energetic and inert feeding response to diet were examined by scanning electron microscope. There is a big variations in the ultrastructures of different sensilla. The maxillary palpi or sensilla basiconica at the top of maxillary palpus of maxilla are well developed in the energetic larva while in the inert larva, these organs on the right side are extremely deformed. Similarly, these sensilla on the third segment of antenna are well developed in the larva energetic to diet has only two deformed sensilla basiconica, that is why silkworm can not show a proper form. This is related to abnormality and it is due to the fact that behaviour is too strong to select the food but fails and finally dies of the starvation.

  • Micro/meso cutting is getting more important in the fields of precision machining technology. A micro-turning lathe is one of parts to consist the Micro Factory. It accepts stepwise motion actuators that are used for feeding system instead of the conventional mechanism. It is consisted of two Piezoelectric ceramics; one is for feeding the slider, and the other is for clamping the slider in the guide way of the body. The linearity and positional accuracy of the actuators are good enough for high precision motion. The spindle unit is operated with DC motor on the top of the slider. The motion is communicated with miniaturized linear encoder attached on each side of axis. A mono crystal diamond tool is used for cutting tool. This micro-lathe has been made a machining experiment to see the characteristics of micro-machining.

  • Silicon single crystals were continuously grown by a modified process. Polycrystalline silicon powder was fed from the top reservoir to the growth chamber. Silicon single crystals were grown from the botton of the growth chamber. The balance between the gravitational force of melt and the centrifugal force originated from the rotation of seed was the one of the main factors to control the diameter of crystals grown and quality, etc.

Micro/Meso Cutting with Micro Turning Lathe (Micro 선반을 이용한 Micro/Meso 절삭에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, a micro-turning lathe is introduced for micro machining of aluminum rod. To give feed motion, stepwise motion[2] actuators are used instead of the conventional inchworm mechanism. These are consisted of two Piezoelectric ceramics; one is for feeding the slider, and the other is for clamping the slider in the guide way of the body. The guide is V-form. The linearity and positional accuracy of the actuators is good enough far high precision motion. Since the system is more compact than the conventional system using three Piezoelectric ceramics, it is applicable for the micro-machine or MEMS unit. To fabricate the lathe, a small spindle unit with ball bearings of diameter of 10 millimeter is built-up on the top the slider. The motion is feed backed with miniaturized linear encoder attached each axis slider. The diamond tool bite is used for cutting tool. The machining is tried to make small diameter rod. The possible diameter that can be machined in this machine is presented as well as chip formation, surface roughness, and machinability.

  • A rectangular ceramic dielectric antenna, placed on the top of a ground plane and fed by coaxial probe, is analyzed by using the finite element method. To verify the proposed code, a rectangular ceramic dielectric antenna was fabricated and the characteristics of antenna were measured. The numerical data obtained is in good agreements with experimental result. Thus we checked the validity of our FEM code, and it can be possible to extend the analysis of the arbitrary 3-D antenna on a ground plane fed by coaxial probe.

Characteristics of Nickel-Diamond Composite Powders by Electroless Nickel Plating (무전해 니켈 도금법으로 제조된 니켈-다이아몬드 복합분체의 특성)

  • Ni-diamond composite powders with nickel layer of round-top type on the surface of synthetic diamond (140/170 mesh) were prepared by the electroless plating method (EN) with semi-batch reactor. The effects of nickel concentration, feeding rates of reductant, temperature, reaction time and stirring speeds on the weight percentage and morphology of deposited Ni, mean particle size and specific surface area of the composite powders were investigated by Atomic Adsortion Spectrometer, SEM-EDX, PSA and BET. It was found that nucleated Ni-P islands, acted as catalytic sites for further deposition and grown into these relatively thick layers with nodule-type on the surface of diamond by a lateral growth mechanism. The weight percentage of Ni in the composite powder increased with reaction time, feeding rate of reductant and temperature, but decreased with stirring speed. The weight percentage of Ni in Ni-diamond composite powder was 55% at 150 min., 200 rpm and 7$0^{\circ}C$ .
