In conventional fault-tree analysis, the failure probabilities of components of a system are treated as exact values in estimating the failure probability of the top event. For the plant layout and systems of the products, however, it is often difficult to evaluate the failure probabilities of components from past occurences, because the environments of the systems change. Furthermore, it might be necessary to consider possible failure of components of the systems even if they have never failed before. In the paper, instead of the probability of failure, we propose the possibility of failure, viz, a fuzzy set defined in probability space. Thus, in this paper based on a fuzzy fault-tree model, the maximum possibility of system failure is determined from the possibility of failure of each component within the system according to the extension principle.

The purpose of this case study is to discuss the issues and challenges pertaining to industrial safety. The case study begins with the shocking incident of the brutal killing of top-executive of the company by agitated workers. Inspite of having conducive environment for business, Italian subsidiary Robusto Muro Ltd had to confront industrial Relations issues at an incredible and unprecedented level. Management perspective, workers viewpoint, competitors approach and diplomatic comments by political bigwigs have also been incorporated so that the students may have 3-dimensional understanding of the scenario. The case of such genre will facilitate the students to comprehend and discuss the employee-employer relationship and industrial safety, in particular and industrial relations and IR machinery, in general.

본 논문은 개인정보보호법의 벌칙조항 및 양벌규정을 기관 및 기업체의 CEO 및 최고경영자의 관점에서 제 70조에서 제75조의 벌칙조항을 구체적이고 간결하게 기술하였다. 이 논문의 주요 구성은 제정된 개인정보보호법에 관하여 먼저, 개인정보의 정의, 개인정보의 유형, 개인정보의 특성을 알아보았다. 또한 개인정보보호법에 대한 주요내용과 경영진의 주요 관심사인 개인정보보호법의 처벌조항과 양벌규정에 대해 연구하였다.

The purpose of this study is the necessity of collaboration, equilibrium or the differences of examination items about certification system which is focused on products, such as KS, formal approval, and ISO 9000 family, QS 9000, etc, for Quality management system. We make expert group control this problem. Also we make examination items to be united. And the differences of certification body and personnel necessary is dissolved by proper instruction. Examination process and corrective maintenance should be improved by clarity, fairness and reliability. Problems through preparation for certification and certified company should be focused on reform of consciousness of top management and continuous instruction. And desirable solution for mutual certification problem and others should be found by information interchange system of international cooperation.

This study came up with a comparison analysis between the average results of Whole National Cooperatives and Kyonggi cooperatives from 2000 to 2005. 15 Kyonggi Agricultural Cooperatives which are nearly the same in the aspects of size and local conditions, - Songpo, Shindo, Ilsan, Jido, Migum, Dongduchon, Bucheon, Ojeong, Naksaeng, Seongnam, Suwon, Kunja, Banweol, Ansan, Suji- are selected as comparable ones while the cooperatives of Kwangmyung, Kungpo, Anyang, Euiwang represent as Kwachon neighborhood cooperatives. The analysis result proposes some desirable ideas to activate the business of local cooperatives as follows. First, the top limit of allotting profits seem to require having the lower adjustment which takes into account the interest rates. Second, the system allotting the profits in proportion to the record of the use should be improved. Third, In order to activate the business of semi-members, allotting profit system in proportion to the record of the use should be established.

Decision tree induction algorithm is one of the most widely used methods in classification problems. However, they could be trapped into a local minimum and have no reasonable means to escape from it if tree algorithm uses top-down search algorithm. Further, if irrelevant or redundant features are included in the data set, tree algorithms produces trees that are less accurate than those from the data set with only relevant features. We propose a hybrid algorithm to generate decision tree that uses genetic programming with sequentially selected features. Correlation-based Feature Selection (CFS) method is adopted to find relevant features which are fed to genetic programming sequentially to find optimal trees at each iteration. The new proposed algorithm produce simpler and more understandable decision trees as compared with other decision trees and it is also effective in producing similar or better trees with relatively smaller set of features in the view of cross-validation accuracy.

In order to apply job performance records to the master craftsman examination, which is an examination to screen the top-rated technician and task manager, the domestic industry has introduced job performance records to the written test of the master craftsman examination. Surveys on master craftsman's field capabilities and applicability are being conducted, and various qualification methods are being tested so as to give satisfaction to consumers in industrial fields. However, these methods have many problems in assessing task managers' qualifications. In order to solve these problems, this research intends to verify the appropriateness of introducing master craftsman's portfolios assessment and the suitability of application methods by conducting interviews and surveys. One big conglomerate and one mid-sized company that has more than 500 employees and covers from 주조(酒造:brewing) 또는 to providing various services to consumers were selected for this research.

Preproject phase is an important but often ignored research area in information systems field although it has an undeniable importance for successful project. The purpose of this study is to identify factors affecting project performance in preproject phase and to find empirically critical factors among them. After deriving 9 factors through literature review including clear project definition, project leader position, staffing efforts, preproject team expertise, preproject knowledge scope, preproject partnering, top-management support, resource sufficiency, and project climate, the study investigate the influence of those factors on project performance. The study results reveal that clear project definition, project climate, resource sufficiency, pre-project knowledge scope, project leader position have significant impact on project process satisfaction, a measure of project performance, but the other factors do not. Based on the empirical results, the study discuss academic and practical implications.

Due to the rapid development of Information Technology and the Internet, e-business has bloomed and prevailed recently. As the result of this phenomenon, enterprises introduce CRM as a new process accessible to customers. The purpose of this study is to examine the factors affecting the performance of CRM based on precedent theoretical studies. So, the empirical test is conducted to various hypotheses related to the research model. 206 questionnaires for this study are collected. The result of how the organizational characteristics influence on the performance of CRM shows that they have a positively significant effect on it in order of expert security, top management's support and customer information-centric culture, and department collaboration. Evaluation and compensation system don't influence on the performance of CRM directly.

The scientific evaluation on enterprise helps establishing better management policy. Financial index has been used for the enterprise evaluation as the objective data. However, the necessity of the subjective data for competitive power evaluation is advocated recently. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an evaluation model of competitive power on enterprise by fuzzy integral, using the objective and the subjective data. The evaluation factors are composed to the financial index, top management, product, organization and enterprise's environment. These factors are grouped by detailed sub-factors of 16 units. Lastly, utilizing these factors, the efficiency of this method was shown by the result of the case study of 10 manufacturing enterprises.
