백색광간섭계를 이용한 금형용 강재 구멍가공면의 조도 측정 (Roughness Measurement of Hole Processing Surface for Mold Steel Using White Light Interferometer)

  • 본 실험에서는 NIMAX재료를 3차원 측정기 및 백색광간섭계를 이용, 진원도 측정과 표면조도 측정을 하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 절삭특성은 재료의 경도가 큰 관계로 2F의 조건보다 4F의 조건에서 낮게 나타났으며, 주축 회전수 및 공구 이송이 낮을수록 양호하게 나타났다. 3차원 측정기를 통한 진원도 측정은 절삭분력과 같은 4F 조건에서 양호하게 나타났으며, 주축회전수 1,700 rpm, 공구이송속도 85 mm/min의 조건에서 진원도는 양호한 결과를 보였다. 가공면의 표면거칠기는 2F 조건보다 4F의 조건에서 양호하게 나타났으며, 주축회전수 1,700 rpm, 공구이송속도 55 mm/min의 조건에서 Ra $0.4025{\mu}m$값을 보였다.

Forehead reconstruction using modified double-opposing rotation-advancement flaps for severe skin necrosis after filler injection

  • Varying degrees of complications can occur after hyaluronic acid filler injections. Tissue necrosis due to interruption of the vascular supply is an early complication that can be severe. If the site of tissue necrosis due to the filler injection is the forehead, successfully reconstructing the region without distorting the key landmarks is challenging. We describe the case of a 50-year-old man who experienced widespread forehead skin necrosis after hyaluronic acid filler injection in the glabellar area. We successfully covered the forehead area with a $3{\times}4-cm^2$ midline necrotic tissue using the modified double-opposing rotation-advancement flap method. Although modified double-opposing rotation-advancement flap closure has the disadvantage of leaving a longer scar compared to conventional double-opposing rotation-advancement flap closure, the additional incision line made along the superior border of the eyebrow aids in camouflaging the scar and decreases eyebrow distortion. Therefore, it is believed that the modified double-opposing rotation-advancement flap technique is an excellent tool for providing adequate soft tissue coverage and minimal free margin distortion when reconstructing widespread skin necrosis in the central mid-lower forehead that can occur after filler injection in the glabellar area.

  • The purpose of this exclusive welding-machine process using the welding Torch-rotation form is to develop a mechanism which can solve the problem of twisted welding wires and cables. The technique was developed by revising the torch position and smooth controlling of both the formal and reverse rotation. Some of the advantages of using the Torch-rotation form over the Work-rotation technique are the practical uses of increased work space and link work with the automation system of the plant. Using this welding machine process, It is possible to design a specific tool in order to solve the implemental problem. And I produced a control plate which can manipulate the progress of the entire process at the work place. Even if another kind of axle casing's welding work is used this process can be utilized if the fixed tip and work is produced and changed. The development if this exclusive welding-machine could reduce the manpower of skilled welding labor and after considerable analysis, this machine was found to increase productivity and better quality product in comparison to the handmade product.

  • 이 논문에서 OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) 시스템의 주파수 옵셋 동기화 블록의 효율적인 구조를 제안한다. 기존의 CORDIC(Coordinate Rotation Digital Computer)을 이용한 주파수 옵셋 동기화 블록들은 위상 추정을 위하여 CORDIC Vector 모드를 사용하고, 보상을 위하여 CORDIC Rotation 모드를 사용하고 있다. 이와 비교하여 제안구조는 Vector 모드만을 사용하고 Relation모드는 Divider로 대치하는 알고리즘이다. 제안된 방식을 사용함으로써 Rotation 모드를 사용해야 했던 기존의 방식보다 하드웨어 구현복잡도가 감소함을 구현을 통하여 검증하였다. 검증 Tool로 Design Compiler를 사용하였고 각 비교 구조마다 동일한 Constraint를 적용하여 검증을 진행하였다. 제안구조에 대한 Front-End 칩 구현을 통하여 기존 구조에 비하여 22.1%의 gate count 감소를 보임으로써 저전력 통신용 칩에서 사용할 수 있음을 보였다.

마찰교반용접 툴 변화에 따른 마그네슘 합금 압출 판재 마찰교반용접부 기계적 물성 평가 (Evaluation of Mechanical Properties of Extruded Magnesium Alloy Joints by Friction Stir Welding : Effect of Welding Tool Geometry)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 마찰교반용접을 마그네슘 합금에 응용하기에 앞서 형상이 다른 두 종류의 용접 툴을 마찰교반용접 시험에 적용 및 비교하여 마그네슘 합금 마찰교반용접에 더 적합한 용접 툴을 제안하였다. 용접 툴의 효과를 알아보기 위해서 용접조건 변수 중 이송속도는 200mm/min으로 고정하였고 회전속도를 400, 600, 800rpm으로 변화시키면서 용접부의 거동과 용접 툴 변화에 따른 효과를 평가 및 관찰하였다. 기계적 물성 평가를 위해 인장시험과 경도시험을 수행하였으며, 용접부 내 거동 및 결함의 유무를 확인하기 위하여 용접부에 수직인 방향의 횡단면을 광학현미경을 통해 관찰하였다. 용접 툴에 관계없이 회전속도가 400rpm일 때 결함이 관찰되었으며, 회전속도가 증가할수록 결함이 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 최종적으로 회전속도 800rpm에서 결함이 없는 용접부를 얻었다. 용접 툴 변화에 따른 기계적 물성 평가 결과 C type 용접 툴을 적용한 경우 보다 우수한 결과가 나타났다. 기계적 물성이 가장 우수한 용접조건은 회전속도 800rpm, 이송속도 200mm/min 이었고, 이때 용접부의 인장강도, 항복강도 그리고 연신율은 모재 대비 90.0%, 69.1%, 83.2% 수준으로 각각 나타났다.

워엄 스크루 가공용 사이드 밀링의 공구 간섭 시뮬레이션 (The Cutting Tool-workpiece Interference Simulation for Worm Screw Machining by Side Milling)

  • A worm screw is widely used in a geared motor unit for motion conversion from rotation to linear. For mass production of a high quality worm, the current rolling process is substituted with the milling process. Since the milling process enables the integration of all operations of worm manufacturing on a CNC(Computer Numerical Control) lathe, productivity can be remarkably improved. In this study, the tooling system for side milling on a CNC lathe to improve machinability is developed. However, the cutting tool-workpiece interference is important factors to be considered for producing high quality worms. For adaptability of various worms machining, the tool-workpiece interference simulation system based on a tool-tip trajectory model is developed. The developed simulation system is verified through several kinds of worms and experimental results.

  • Micro spherical lens mold processing method based on mechanical one completes a spherical shape by setting a diamond tool of hundreds $\mu$m radius on spins with high speed and then using Z-axis vertical feeding motion like the fabrication of micro drilling. In this method, we can see unprocessed parts shaped like cylinder and cone and check increasing chatter marks and burrs by setting errors of the central axis of rotation on the edge of the tool. That is why this method doesn't suit for the optical lens mold. In this paper presents unprocessed parts are disappeared and chatter marks and burrs are decreased from centre of the lens after using Run-out measuring and setting system on run-out occurred from setting tool. Also the fabrication characteristics of 6:4 Brass, A1601, PMMA are compared and analyzed, establishing the optimum machining condition on each material.

  • Recently, the development of high speed and high precision NC-lathe for piston head machining is needed for the complexity and diversity of the piston head shape used in automobile reciprocating engine. THe piston head has many complex shapes in the aspect of fuel economy, such as ovality, profile, double ovality and recess. Among them, for the maching of the over shape of 0.1~1mm the cutting tool should move periodically symchronized with the rotation of piston workpiece. The cutting tool feeed system must have high positioning accuracy for the precise machining, high speed for the fast maching and high dynamic stiffness for the cutting force. The linear brushless DC motor is used for satisfying these coditions. The ballbush guide and supporting guide using turcite is used for the guidance of the feed drive system. Linear encoder, digital servo ampllifer and controller are used for driving the motor. THis paper presents the design and simulation of the new tool feed system for noncircular machining.

  • High speed cutting is a machining process which cuts materials with the fast movement and rotation of a spindle in a machine tool. High speed cutting leaves a plastically deformed layer on the machined surface. This deformed layer affects in various forms to the surface roughness of machined parts such as the dimensional instability, the micro crack. The surface roughness is called surface integrity which is very important in precision cutting. This paper aims to study on the machined surfaces characteristics of aluminum alloy and brass by AFM(Atomic force microscope) measurement. The objective is contribution to ultra- precision cutting by exhibit foundation data of surface roughness and tool wear when parts are cutting with diamond tool at the factory.

  • High-speed and high-precision are trendy at present in the development of machine tools which are required for various fields of industry such as semiconductor, automobde, mold fabricat~on and so on. High damping capacity of the structure is an iniportant factor to ohtain precise products without vibration during manufacturing caused by rapid trarisportatm and rotation of spindle unit Resin concrete have high potential for machine tool bed due to its good damping characteristics. In this study, the statlc and dynamic characteristics of the machine tool bed were analysed. Also, the hybrid machine tool bed, made of steel base and polyester resin concrete material, was manufactured and its good dynamic characteristics were proved experimentally.
