Purpose: The purpose of this study is to design an experimental simulation model for evaluating the UGV(Unmanned Ground Vehicle) effectiveness in a small unit combat scenario. Methods: We design and build a simulation model to evaluate the combat effectiveness of UGV in a small unit combat scenario. In order to build a simulation model, we used AnyLogic software tool which has functional advantages to describe agent-based simulation model. As for the combat scenario, we applied the typical engagement of mechanized unit equal or lower than battalion level. Analysis process follows the three phases. 1) Design an agent based conceptual medel in a small unit combat scenario. 2) Build a simulation medel using AnyLogic tool. 3) Analyze the simulation results and evaluate the UGV effectiveness. Results: The UGV effectiveness was measured and presented as a numeric values. Those numeric values were represented as a MOE(Measure of Effectiveness) which was the blue survival ratio. Conclusion: We developed an agent based simulation model which can provide a pattern of change how UGV effectiveness varied depending upon the number of UGV in a small unit combat scenario. We also found that the UGV effectiveness grows in the given scenario as the number of UGV increases.

Design for Safety 개념이 반영된 건설안전관리정보모형을 개발함에 있어 본 연구는 도입의 필요성을 입증하고 안전관리시스템과 안전관리정보모형의 기본개념을 제안하는 선행적 성격을 가진다. Design for Safety 개념의 필요성은 재해 원인모형에 관한 이론고찰, 사망재해에 대한 사례조사를 통해 입증하였으며, 주체별 안전책임과 역할, 안전관리프로세스, 유해위험평가기법으로 구성된 안전관리시스템은 국내 $\cdot$ 외 관련연구를 종합하여 제안하였다. 또한 안전관리정보모형의 기본개념은 현행 안전정보 인프라에 대한 문제점과 안전관리시스템 구성요소의 특징에 따라 제시되었다.

This study was Performed to understand Pediatric Pain management status and nurses' knowledge and attitudes toward it. In addition. it aimed to provide basic data in order to establish effective nursing intervention strategies by confirming the barriers of effective pain management in practice. The subjects were 195 nurses working in pediatric units(general pediatric unit. oncology unit, neonatal unit. neonatal ICU, Pediatric ICU) of 8 university hospitals and one general hospital. Data was collected by the questionnaire from the 3rd of August to the 20th of September in 1999. The instrument developed by Sanna(1999) to measure nurses' knowledge and their attitudes and the other tool by Cleeland(1984) to evaluate barriers in effective Pain management was used. Results of this study are summarized as follows 1. Most nurses learn about the pain management knowledges from through regular curriculum of nursing school(62.0%) And almost nurses(90.8%) don't used to utilize pain assessment tool, but the 'Faces Rating Scale' is the most frequently used by nurses. 2. The use of pain medication(65.6%) is most frequently taken by nurses as pain management and is followed by massage (55.9%) , distraction(27.7%). 3. Nurses' knowledge level is moderate (Mn=3.07). Nurses don't seem to understand pediatric Physical development (Mn = 2.86), psychological development(Mn=2.94) well, meanwhile they seem relatively Quite knowledgeable about the way pain emerges. 4. Nurses' attitudes toward pain is based on behavioral and physiological responses to Pain. They believe 'changes in behavior are a way of assessing pain in child' and 'acute pain increases the number of respiration' Nurses are ready to accept pediatric pain, but are not positive in adopting pain intervention in practice. 5. The barriers of effective pain management are inadequate assessment of pain and pain relief(81.5%), ineffective incorporation among health professionals(80%), and lack of equipment or skills(80.0%).

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to present a preferred parts list, establish a search tool for common parts, and propose a development plan for parts management. Methods: When selecting the preferred parts list, the weight of the selection of the military parts and the online site of the civilian parts were taken into account. By establishing a database of selected preferred parts list, we have established a system for searching common parts. Results: The results of this study are as follows; In order to establish parts management work in Korea's defense, it is necessary to improve the Defense Acquisition Program Act, Enforcement Decree (Rules), and the Regulations for Defense Acquisition Program Administration. Development of performance indicators for parts management is required, and establishment of procedures and standards for selection of preferred parts lists is required. Considerations for the selection of preferred parts list include whether they are used a lot in civilian products, whether they are used a lot, whether they are certified suppliers, whether they are national and industrial standard products, whether they perform well considering reliability, durability, and quality, and whether they can be supplied continuously. Conclusion: It is necessary to establish policies and systems related to parts management and to establish criteria for selecting preferred parts list for the development of domestic parts management tasks.

Because each building is built in different time, there exists different equipment to meet the need for each age. Before the announcement of "Community Management Regulation", the old communities usually suffer the problem of lower requirement and living quality. This may bring some security problem that we should face. In this research, we construct "Building Administration System" to provide users a tool to perform a standard operation procedure in community management. This powerful tool will also help manager to effectively handle important tasks in property administrating by reducing unnecessary documentation. In the current regulation, all community committee members shall be voted each year. This will seriously affect the cumulative of management knowledge and cause a worse efficiency. In this research, we use Object Oriented concept and Visual Modeling techniques to combine with Interbase, ER/Studio, and Delphi to develop this management system for Building Property. Through the help of current computing technology, we can solve the problem that can not be inherited and the storing of the huge amount of data. In this system, we develop the modules such as Basic Data Module, Administrative Expense Calculation, Receipt Print, and Inquiring for Inheritance. In this system, we have integrated all houses, parking lots, and public equipments in it. Manager will only need to handle some basic accounting data; the system will automatically handle the rest. Through the help of this system, the community management staff can be easily accomplished and put more manpower on some needed aspect to improve the living quality.

This paper deals with a problem on the selection of alternative tools in a flexible manufacturing system (FMS) where a lot of tools are required to produce a large variety of product items. An approach using branch and bound method is proposed to minimize a total number of tools required through the optimal use of the alternative tools. In this approach, tools are initially divided into tool subgroups based on graph theory for the purpose of the effective search of the optimal solution. A small example is also presented to highlight the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

The purpose of this research is three-fold; 1, establish the causal model of market-orientation, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction and firm's perfor-mance. 2. testify the hypothesis derived by the model on a service industry of fastfood franchise. 3. develop the diagnostic tool for managing the service firm from the perspective of CS. The results show us; 1. customer satisfaction increases the performance of franchise store. 2. employee satisfaction does not necessarily increases customer satisfaction in a short-run, however the long-run impact of employee satisfaction on customer satisfaction is conjectured to be increased. 3. Satisfaction Portfolio Analysis can be utilized as management tool to improve the customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction for service industry.

After the introduction of the topologically structured geographic information system(GIS) with relational DBMS, the attribute data can be handled without considering locational data. By utilzing of the characteristic of the relational DBMS, it can be used as an expert system building tool in GIS. The relational DBMS of the GIS furnishes the data needed to perform deductive functions of the expert system, and the rule based approach provides the decision rules. Therefore, rule based approach with the expert judgement can be easily combined with relational DBMS.

With rapid changes in technology and global competition, the success of many companies has become progressively more dependent on their ability to bring unique products, services, and business models to market. Therefore, many companies have tried to use creativity to all over the management activities and the concept of creative management is emerging. Creative management is a new but rapidly growing research area. But there have been few studies on this topic. In this paper, we developed the framework for measuring Creative Management levels of a company. The contribution of this paper is the following. First, we suggested a systematic measurement tool for creative management level focused on the management capability, business process and outcomes. Secondly, the creative measurement system developed in this paper can support companies to implement creative management as a guideline for adopting creative management.
