  • The most dangerous and safest place, the busiest and most serene place, the DMZ where the wounds of the bitter war melt away, but at the same time contain life and healing. In this space of paradox, we now want to look at 'peace'. The KTV documentary 'DMZ Coexistence' is made in the form of a human road documentary that consists of various perspectives looking at the DMZ, various characters, and the most unknown Korean story materials, and the stories related to the performers in UHD 4K. In this study, we will show the process of creating an 'opening title' of 'DMZ Coexistence' captured in 4k and make it usable in academia and industry in the future.

  • This paper is the study on the Medium Designator in Non-book materials. Main contents of this study were as follows; 1. The medium designator serves to indicate the class of material to which an item belongs. This is used to give an 'early warning' ;to the catalogue user. 2. This medium designator may be further divided into two elements ; a general material designation (GMD), for example video-recording, and a specific material designation (SMD), for example, videodisc. 3. GMD: In cataloging, a term indicating the broad class of material to which a bibliographic item belongs, such as 'motion picture', and SMD : In descriptive cataloging, a term indicating the special class of material (usually the class of physical object) to which a biblographic item belongs, such as videocassette. 4. Locating the medium designator after the title proper was not prescribed until ISBD(G) and AACR2. In pre-ISBD(G) codes, the ,early, warning type of medium designator was placed after all title information. But in AACR2, the medium designator is placed after the title proper, but before parellel title and other title information. 5. In Terminology, Two separate lists of designations are given in AACR2, l.1C1, one for British and one for North American use. The British list contains fewer terms, and uses generic categories to group together some of the North American list. 6. The problem of where to place the medium designator might be circumvented by using some kind of early alerting device other than a formal element of biblliographic description. Various alternatives have been suggested. A more popular device is the provision of symbols or 'media code' which are part of the call number and indicate the porticular medium type. 'Colour-coding' the use of used by some libraries but is now longly discouraged. 7. According to Frost. The medium designatorhas been generally reeognized as serving three functions; 1) as a statement of the nature or basic format of the item cataloged and thus as a meant of informing the user as to the type of material at hand; 2) as a description of the physical charaetistics of medium and as a means of alerting the user to equipment needed to make use of the item. 3) as a device to distinguish different physical formats which share the same title. 8. AACR2 raises some problems which decision makers have neet had to face preriously It provides a GMD for every item in the collection including books and it makes the application of any or all GMD's optional.

  • To investigate 13 year old pupils' suggested aims, recognition of relevant variable, and the relationship between the suggested aim and the conclusion which is drawn by pupils, we classified experiments in textdbook into three cases: (1) Case involving dependent variable and independent variable in the title of experiment, (2) Case involving dependent variable only, where pupils can know independent variable from the content of textbook, (3) Case involving dependent variable only, where pupils hardly can know independent variable from the content of textbook. In respect of the aims which pupils suggested, the suggested aims were reduced to the title of experiment in case(1). However, the suggested aims were divided into several forms which is not relevant to the content of experiment in case (2), (3). This shows that pupils are affected by the title of experiment according to how the variable is involved in the title of experiment. This is supported by the fact that when the variable is described in the title, the suggested aim is reduced to the title of experiment. On the other hand, there was a relationship between the suggested aim and the drawn conclusion in case (1). But there was few relationships in case (2) and (3). Surprisingly, the drawn conclusion in case(1) was not consistent with the expected one because of the inappropriate experimental setting. We need to be more careful in experimental setting, pupils' cognitive ability, and openness of experiment to help pupils perform experiment successfully.

  • This study is to suggest the considerations in the rules for authorized access points for collocation of music work by figuring out the directions of authorized access points in FRBR, LRM, ICP 2016, RDA, and BIBFRAME, and by analyzing RDA rules for attributes and authorized access points of music works and expression and VIAF examples. First, an aggregated authorized access points were suggested as the direction of authorized access points, and original title may be selected as preferred title and the authorized access point may be based on forms in one of the languages suited to the users, if the original title is not normally suited. Second, music works's authorized access points is consisted of composer authorized access point and preferred title, and of adapter's authorized access point and preferred title in case of lacks of responsibility in composer. Also, the authorized access point of Korean traditional music work must be reviewed according to work types considering the responsibility of composer. Third, the controlled vocabularies for name of music type, medium of performance, and key could be considered for describing the attributes of work and expression. This study would be the foundation study for the authorized access point of music work, and additional research should be completed through surveying music user's need.

  • To investigate and accommodate opinions on the revision of the official occupational title of the medical technologist, the Korean Association of Medical Technologists (KAMT) requested 22,638 people registered as its regular members to participate in an online survey and select their two preferred options from the alternative job titles presented. Survey responses were collected from 3,999 people (17.66%). To examine job title preferences among the KAMT members, each respondent was asked to choose two terms from the choice set. As a result, 6,958 responses were obtained, and out of the total responses, 5,555 (79.83%) indicated a choice for a job title that included the word 'analyst' as the preferred alternative. The survey results showed that "Diagnostic Laboratory Analyst" was the most preferred alternative selected by the largest proportion of respondents (2,417 responses, 34.73%), followed by "Clinical Laboratory Analyst" (1,710 responses, 24.57%), "Biomedical Pathology Technologist" (758 responses, 10.89%), "Biomedical Analyst" (730 responses, 10.49%), "Biomedical Laboratory Analyst" (730 responses, 10.03%), and "Clinical Laboratory Scientist" (646 responses, 9.26%). Therefore, based on the responses of the surveyed members, results of consultation and literature review, the Standard Classification of Occupations (SCO), and the current status of the job titles used in major countries, it is suggested that the occupational title of medical technologists should be changed by adopting "Diagnostic Laboratory Analyst", "Biomedical Laboratory Analyst", or "Biomedical Analyst" as their new official job title.

  • Many students have some misconception on electric current, and they are not corrected easily by traditional instruction. In this paper, a multimedia title was developed for misconception correction on electric current, and applied to the students and investigated its effects. The subject of this study consists of 32 students of a middle school. The group is divided into two subgroups. the applied group and the compared group. each of which has 16 students. The achievement is estimated by t-test using SPSS. The result shows that current consumption concept was corrected easily and it had no relation with instruction methods. Educational multimedia title was especially effective in the class to correct the misconception of current distribution concept. It was difficult to correct current independent of resistance concept by the multimedia title.
