Node Incentive Mechanism in Selfish Opportunistic Network

  • In opportunistic network, the behavior of a node is autonomous and has social attributes such as selfishness.If a node wants to forward information to another node, it is bound to be limited by the node's own resources such as cache, power, and energy.Therefore, in the process of communication, some nodes do not help to forward information of other nodes because of their selfish behavior. This will lead to the inability to complete cooperation, greatly reduce the success rate of message transmission, increase network delay, and affect the overall network performance. This article proposes a hybrid incentive mechanism (Mim) based on the Reputation mechanism and the Credit mechanism.The selfishness model, energy model (The energy in the article exists in the form of electricity) and transaction model constitute our Mim mechanism. The Mim classifies the selfishness of nodes and constantly pay attention to changes in node energy, and manage the wealth of both sides of the node by introducing the Central Money Management Center. By calculating the selfishness of the node, the currency trading model is used to differentiate pricing of the node's services. Simulation results show that by using the Mim, the information delivery rate in the network and the fairness of node transactions are improved. At the same time, it also greatly increases the average life of the network.

  • In a ubiquitous environment made up of multiple sensors, most sensors participate in communications with limited battery, and the sensor node isn't able to participate in communications when all the battery is used up. When an existing authentication method is used for the sensor node which has to participate in a long term communication with limited battery, it creates a problem by making the length of network maintenance or sensor node's operation time relatively shorte. Therefore, a network structure where RM (Register Manager) node and AM (Authentication Manager) node are imported to solve the energy consumption problem during a communication process is presented in this thesis. This offers a low power protocol based on safety through a mutual authentication during communications. Through registration and authentication manager nodes, each sensor nodes are ensured of safety and the algorithm of key's generation, encryption/descramble and authentication is processed with faster operation speed. So the amount of electricity used up during the communications between sensor nodes has been evaluated. In case of the amount of electrical usage, an average of $34.783\%$ for the same subnet and 36.855 for communications with two different subnets, are reduced. The proposed method is a protocol which maintains the limited battery for a long time to increase the effectiveness of energy usage in sensor nodes and can also increase the participation rate of communication by sensor nodes.

  • This paper discusses the optimal sizes of BESS. The goal must be optimized electricity charge of the customers-side with choosing the time-of-use rates. Therefore the cost is minimized by BESS installed the customers-side. Feasible ROR that means the ratio of capital costs to economic effect owned the optimal BESS sizes is determined the suitable domestic condition based on the battery cost and power converter system cost. Payback period times can be presented by BESS through the ROR. Multi-Pass Dynamic Programming(MPDP) algorithm is applied to the customer for the optimal sizes determination in this paper. It is to solve the optimal solution under the constraints. To investigate the efficiencies of the constraints, it is applied the typical load curve to the high-voltage customer owned Time-Of-Use(TOU) whether BESS is installed or not. Well, The result is obtained that feasible BESS sizes can be achieved the suitable customers-side of meter through the ROR.

선형계획법을 이용한 H 아리수 정수 센터 최적 취수량 결정 (Determination of Optimal Hourly Water Intake Amount for H Arisu Purification Center using Linear Programming)

  • 본 논문은 선형계획모형을 이용하여 H 아리수 정수 센터의 최적 취수량 결정 방법을 연구 하였다. 현재 H 아리수 센터에서는 관리자의 경험과 숙련도에 의지하여 취수량을 결정하고 있다. 그런데 매시 변하는 수요를 만족 시키면서 시간대별로 요금이 서로 다른 전력의 사용을 최소화 하는 취수량 결정은 근무자들의 경험과 숙련도를 넘어서는 간단한 문제가 아니다. 따라서 수리적 기법 중 하나인 선형계획모형을 이용해 취수량을 결정하고, 비용 절감을 시도하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 선형계획 모형은 수요예측치를 기본 입력자료로 사용하고 있는데 예측오차가 발생할 경우 정수지 높이 제한을 위반하는 경우가 발생한다. 이를 해결하기 위해서는 정확한 수요예측이 선행되어야 한다. 그러나 아무리 좋은 예측 기법을 사용하더라도 실수요와 오차는 있게 마련이고 이는 여전히 높이 제한의 제약을 만족 시키지 못하는 결과를 불러일으킨다. 따라서 예측오차를 수용 할 수 있는 안전 마진 상수를 이용한 대안을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 선형 계획 모형을 통한 취수량 결정은 수위 모니터링을 위해 항시 작업자가 근무 할 필요가 없기 때문에 인건비 면에서도 많은 절약이 예측되어 총 비용 감축은 훨씬 더 많으리라 기대된다.

Power Cable Ampacity and Influential Factors Analysis under Operation

  • With the increasing of urban electricity demand, making the most use of the power cable carrying capacity has become an important task in power grid system. Contrary to the rated ampacity obtained under extremely conservative conditions, this paper presents the various steady value of cable ampacity by using the changing surrounding parameters under operation, which is based on cable ampacity calculation equation under the IEC-60287 standard. To some degree, the cable ampacity analysis of actual surroundings improves the transmission capacity of cables. This paper reveals the factors that influence cable ampacity such as insulating layer thickness, allowable long-term conductor temperature, the ambient temperature, soil thermal resistance coefficient, and so on, then gives the class of the influence of these parameters on the ampacity, which plays a great role in accurately calculating the real-time ampacity and improving the utilization rate of cable in the complex external environment condition. Furthermore, the transient thermal rating of the cable is analyzed in this paper, and temperature variation of the conductor under different overload conditions is discussed, which provides effective information for the operation and control of the system.

250 km/h급 전철설비의 비전기반 검측 기술 구현 (An Implement of Vision based Measurement Technology for Traction Power System up to 250 km/h)

  • The traction power system is configured to transmit electricity to the vehicles through mechanical contact between the OCL (Overhead Contact Line) and the pantograph. The system measures the current collection performance of the OCL, or the OCL installation condition is examined through maintenance for commercial operation. Maintenance continues to check the conditions through visual inspection by walking and inspection vehicles. The current collection performance is divided into the percentage of arcing(%), the contact force, and the uplift. The percentage of arcing is composed of a vision based system and used to verify the performance of a new OCL. However, it is not always possible to measure the current collection performance during commercial operation, and maintenance based on human resources can not be replaced. This paper presents the minimum performance condition of video devices in the current collection system of commercial vehicles. In addition, a continuous arcing was measured, and current collection performance was examined on the traction power system at the 250 km/h. It was analyzed with a minimum duration of arc of 1 ms. The frame rate is then shown by comparing the number of frames in the image at the time intervals of the number of the arcing. It is expected that the result of this study can be used for examining the minimum performance of video devices depending on their purpose.

온실차광을 위한 드론 전용노즐 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on Drone Nozzle Design for Greenhouse Shading)

  • 최근 드론을 활용한 농약 살포 임무로 농민들의 작업 시간을 절약하고 농약 및 인체 유해성으로부터 보호되어 드론 보급이 활성화되고 있다. 기존 농약 살포 방식인 광역방제기와 헬기 방제에서 파생된 여러 단점 보완이 가능하다. 최근에는 스마트팜 확대 정책으로 IoT 기반의 다양한 작물의 생육 정보를 실시간 모니터링하고 핵심 변수에 대한 빅데이터 수집을 통해 최적의 생육 환경을 구축하여 수확 증대를 통한 농민의 수익 창출에 적극 활용되고 연관 드론 산업 기술도 발전되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 농업응용 분야의 다양성을 확보하기 위해서 비닐하우스 차광을 위한 작업에 드론을 적용하였고 차광막 살포와 관련된 기술 구현을 구체화하기 위하여 비닐하우스 환경에 대한 기초 연구를 실시하였다. 비닐하우스의 내부와 외부 환경을 고려하여 양질의 빛을 제공하기 위해 드론 노즐의 균일 살포를 위한 노즐설계, 비닐하우스의 투광률 분석, 차광제 도포 실험을 통하여 드론을 활용한 차광임무가 가능하도록 하는 기초연구를 수행하였다.

The Contribution of Innovation Activity to the Output Growth of Emerging Economies: The Case of Kazakhstan

  • The purpose of this study is to analyse the state of the energy industry and to determine the efficiency of its functioning on the basis of energy conservation principle and application of innovative technologies aimed at improving the ecological modernisation of agricultural sectors of Kazakhstan. The research methodology is based on an integrated approach of financial and economic evaluation of the effectiveness of the investment project, based on calculation of elasticity, total costs and profitability, as well as on comparative, graphical and system analysis. The current stage is characterised by widely spread restructuring processes of electric power industry in many countries through introduction of new technical installations of energy facilities and increased government regulation in order to enhance the competitive advantage of electricity market. Electric power industry features a considerable value of creating areas. For example, by providing scientific and technical progress, it crucially affects not only the development but also the territorial organisation of productive forces, first of all the industry. In modern life, more than 90% of electricity and heat is obtained by Kazakhstan's economy by consuming non-renewable energy resources: different types of coal, oil shale, oil, natural gas and peat. Therefore, it is significant to ensure energy security, as the country faces a rapid fall back to mono-gas structure of fuel and energy balance. However, energy resources in Kazakhstan are spread very unevenly. Its main supplies are concentrated in northern and central parts of the republic, and the majority of consumers of electrical power live in the southern and western areas of the country. However, energy plays an important role in the economy of industrial production and to a large extent determines the level of competitive advantage, which is a promising condition for implementation of energy-saving and environmentally friendly technologies. In these circumstances, issues of modernisation and reforms of this sector in Kazakhstan gain more and more importance, which can be seen in the example of economically sustainable solutions of a large local monopoly company, significant savings in capital investment and efficiency of implementation of an investment project. A major disadvantage of development of electricity distribution companies is the prevalence of very high moral and physical amortisation of equipment, reaching almost 70-80%, which significantly increases the operating costs. For example, while an investment of 12 billion tenge was planned in 2009 in this branch, in 2012 it is planned to invest more than 17 billion. Obviously, despite the absolute increase, the rate of investment is still quite low, as the total demand in this area is at least more than 250 billion tenge. In addition, industrial infrastructure, including the objects of Kazakhstan electric power industry, have a tangible adverse impact on the environment. Thus, since there is a large number of various power projects that are sources of electromagnetic radiation, the environment is deteriorated. Hence, there is a need to optimise the efficiency of the organisation and management of production activities of energy companies, to create and implement new technologies, to ensure safe production and provide solutions to various environmental aspects. These are key strategic factors to ensure success of the modern energy sector of Kazakhstan. The contribution of authors in developing the scope of this subject is explained by the fact that there was not enough research in the energy sector, especially in the view of ecological modernisation. This work differs from similar works in Kazakhstan in the way that the proposed method of investment project calculation takes into account the time factor, which compares the current and future value of profit from the implementation of innovative equipment that helps to bring it to actual practise. The feasibility of writing this article lies in the need of forming a public policy in the industrial sector, including optimising the structure of energy disbursing rate, which complies with the terms of future modernised development of the domestic energy sector.

점탄성 특성을 가진 폴리머용액의 난류유동 열적입구길이에 관한 실험적 연구 (An experimental study on the thermal entrance lengths for viscoelastic polymer solutions in turbulent tube flow)

  • 본 연구에서는 내경이 각각 8.5mm와 10.3mm이며 무차원길이가 각각 710과 1158인 두 개의 시험관을 사용하는 유동장치를 제작하여 시험관 입구에서부터 유체역 학적 경계층(hydrodynamic boundary layer)과 열적 경계층(thermal boundary layer)이 동시에 발달하기 시작하는 경계조건을 형성하고 관벽에서 일정한 열 플럭스(constant heat flux)를 발생하는 조건을 부여하였다. 퇴화현상(degradation)에 대하여 비교적 안정성을 가진 폴리아크라마이드(polyacrylamide) Separan Ap273을 수도물에 용해하여 제조한 폴리머용액으로 유동특성과 열전달특성을 실험하여 열적입구길이와 열전달특성 을 규명하고자 한다.
