The data were analyzed using the SAS statistical package program, version 10.0. Specifically, descriptive statistics and stepwise multiple regression were performed. Results: The predictive time management factors for organizational commitment included deadline decision, simplification, and goal-setting. The predictive time management factors for job satisfaction included planning/making the priority order, deadline decision, simplification, asking for help, and responsibility reduction. Conclusion: Time management factors are highly correlated with organizational commitment and job satisfaction in clinical nurses. • The study attempted to answer the questions related to the expected effects of supply chain management variables which include: Partnership with Suppliers (PS), Relationships with Customers (RC), Quality of Information Exchange (QIE), and Postponement (P), as independent variables, total quality management (TQM) as a dependents variable, and just in time (JIT) as a mediator variable. The study relies on the descriptive approach by conducting an empirical study on commercial companies in Riyadh Governorate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Through the methods of descriptive and analytical statistics represented in exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and structural equation modeling (SEM)), using the AMOS and SPSS programs, the results of the applied study indicated that: There is an effect of supply chain management variables (quality of information exchange, Postponement) on just in time (JIT), there is no effect of the supply chain variables (relationship with customers, partnership with suppliers) on just in time (JIT), there is an indirect effect of the quality of information exchange, Postponement, partnership with suppliers, the relationship with customers on total quality management (TQM), relationship with customers affect on total quality management (TQM) indirectly, just in time (JIT) does not affect total quality management (TQM)

  • This study aims to clarify the difference between scores for time management practice and the self-evaluation of time use according to time rules in families. This study used data obtained from the first survey on after-school activities in 2008, conducted by the Benesse Educational Research and Development Institute in Japan. The study sample consists of 3,372 middle school students. First, scores for independence and planning were highest in third grade, yet the score for regularity was also lowest in third grade. There will be different lifestyles even among middle school students of the same grade, so it is necessary to consider their characteristics and family rules. Second, the scores for independence, regularity and planning were lowest in groups whose families had rules about time (time rules for curfew, time rules for watching television, time rules for playing games), but in which those rules were not kept. These results were similar for both boys and girls and show that it is more important keep rules rather than to make rules.

  • Criteria for the comparison of quality of asset portfolio management are risk and return. In this paper a method to use structural time-series model to determine an optimal portfolio for the improvement of quality of asset portfolio management is suggested. In traditional mean variance analysis expected return is assumed to be time-invariant. However, it is more realistic to assume that expected return is temporally dynamic and structural time-series model can be used to reflect time-varying nature of return. A data set from an insurance company was used to show validity of suggested method.
