In Taiwanese Daoism, the Celestial Worthy of the Ninth Heaven, Responder, Thunderbolt-bearer, and Transformer of the Universe (九天應元雷聲普化天尊) is the highest deity in the Thunder Ministry. In the the Korean new religion, Daesoon Jinrihoe (大巡真理會), he is the Supreme God. However, since the Celestial Worthy of the Ninth Heaven, Responder, Thunderbolt-bearer, and Transformer of the Universe has the same name in these two traditions, it naturally leads people to wonder whether or not they can be considered the same deity. Or failing that, it could still be asked, to what extent are these two deities related? Or it could further be asked what meaning does the Celestial Worthy of the Ninth Heaven, Responder, Thunderbolt-bearer, and Transformer of the Universe have in these two religions? Anyhow, all such questions depend on first establishing a greater degree of basic clarity. Religious scripture can serve as a cornerstone in gaining such basic clarity. Scripture almost invariably contains information regarding the divine nature, divine authority, and sacrosanctity of deities reflective of what is understood by the devotees of those religions. Clues on the precise nature of these key attributes of deity-depiction can be drawn out of scriptural accounts, and as such, the research presented in this paper will begin by comparing two relevant scriptures. The representative scriptures highlighted in this paper will be The Canonical Scripture (典經) of Daesoon Jinrihoe and The Scripture of the Jade Pivot (玉樞寶經) of Zhengyi (Orthodox Unity, 正一) Daoism. These scriptures will serve as the basis for exploration and analysis of the divine attributes of the Celestial Worthy of the Ninth Heaven, Responder, Thunderbolt-bearer, and Transformer of the Universe in terms of his divine nature, divine authority, and sacrosanctity. By comparing these two scriptural accounts of his divine attributes, the similarities and differences that arise can be properly explored. This paper endeavors to clarify the ultimate purpose of 'the Celestial Worthy of the Ninth Heaven, Responder, Thunderbolt-bearer, and Transformer of the Universe.' In this paper, the first step will be an exploration of scriptural analysis. The contents of this paper is roughly divided into four sections. The first section is an exploration of the general contents of the two scriptures, including their origin, contents, and value. The second section focuses on the three main divine attributes of the Celestial Worthy of the Ninth Heaven, Responder, Thunderbolt-bearer, and Transformer of the Universe: his divine nature, divine authority, and sacrosanctity. The third section will compare the depictions of the deity in the two scriptural accounts in terms of those three attributes. Lastly, the deity's evolutionary history in both religions is shown and compared and final remarks are made on the contemporary value of the Celestial Worthy of the Ninth Heaven, Responder, Thunderbolt-bearer, and Transformer of the Universe.

In this paper, the time-varying failure rate to consider climate effect was extracted. Even if the same kind of equipments is estimated for extracting the time-varying failure rate, the failure rates could be different depending on external effect such as climate. With the consequence, the failure rate extracted to consider the climate effect is necessary for using the failure rate on the optimal investment plan or asset management, To consider the characteristic of climate effects(Classified into 5 categories, heavy rain, thunderbolt, strong wind, tidal waves, no character), the survey of officers charging the operation of equipment in KEPCO branch office was done. With this consequence, this paper suggest the failure rate extraction method to consider the climate effect analyzed by the survey.

This paper describes the testing facility to demonstrate the performance of the distribution class circuit breakers and switchgears and the testing methods. The field-test evaluation system consists of two parts. One is the distribution system for simulation of the condition on interruption mode of switches which are installed in the system and tested by the AFG(Artificial Fault Generator) and the thunderbolt generator just like in the real field. The other is a laboratory for confirmation or the important characteristics regarding to the insulation, gas, environment durability of equipment. For the fatal failure mode, a FMEA(Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) technique which is a kind of a structural analysis to consider a counter-plan was emploved.

The high-speed data service is on the increase and on the development because of using the coaxial cable which hold the most part of subscriber's loop, the transmission rate in a subscriber line has influenced by an external-electromagnetic factor such as the falling of a thunderbolt and the electromagnetic induction on transmission line. this external environment gets the noise of a communications line and then has an influence to the transmission speed and quality for the high-speed data service. this paper makes an analysis of noise characteristic appeared a subscriber communications line, measures a transmission speed per each cable-distance and resolves these relationship by putting the noise, which has affected extensively the transmission quality of ADSL service, into a subscriber line.

Traditional architecture has structural limits after some terms because it almost made by wood elements. So in the name of 'Restoration', by anatural process, repair works are accomplished. But the repair works of traditional buildings have some problems in spite of best men power and technology. To overcome this problems, we need more detailed studies for examine the reasons of destruction in elements of wooden buildings. The life limits of wooden buildings are caused by natural circumstances and humanic circumstances, the former has bad effect on the damage in wooden buildings. There are various elements of damage in the wooden buildings, earthquake, the falling of a thunderbolt, fire, and rain, microorganism, insect, and so on. Moreover pollutions-sulfurous acid gas, acidorganic matters -are important reason of shortening the life of wooden buildings. From 1981 till now we investigated important traditional buildings under repair works by the way scientific analysis to catch the sample - seramics, woods, insects, metals, etc. In this reports we suggest various method of investigation with two samples of tradional house made by wood, one is Kim Joo Tea House, the order is Simgum-dang of Magok-Sa(dwelling of monk).

Earth brush for electrical multiple units(EMUs) is a device through which the current of the EMU load's consumed power fed from the DC 1,500V overhead line (or from the AC 25.000V catenary) flows via axle to the rail(ground) and which prevents the electric corrosion of the axle bearings by preventing the current flow to the axle bearings caused by electric potential from the magnetic field when the bearings rotate together with the earthing function when a thunderbolt falls or a surge comes. The earth brush wear rates among cars, however, shows quite differences when the earth brushes after being separated from the holders are measured with vernier callipers every 6 months of maintenance period. Main causes of the earth brush wear are divided as mechanical, electric arc and electrical one, and the factors can be running speed, current, harmonics, connection state. spring tension, earth brush material, lubricant and so on. but only the earth brushes of the motor(M1) car show the highest wear rate and moreover maintenance difficulty occurs because of the wear rate differences among e earth brushes in one holder. The reason for these preponderant wear comes from the design concept of making preponderant current flow to some particular earth brushes and moreover the heat generated by the harmonics when the inverter starts to operate accelerate the wear. By defining these causes through experiments. I hope that the found results would be helpful for the future EMU design, safety, economy and maintenance.

This study examines the God, Jiutian Yingyuan Leisheng Puhua Tianzun (九天應元雷聲普化天尊, 'The Supreme God of the Ninth Heaven, Celestial Worthy of Universal Creation through His Thunderbolt, the Originator with Whom All Beings Resonate' in Daesoon Jinrihoe), in terms of narrative imagination, by investigating the narrative of Wen Zhong (聞仲) in Investiture of the Gods (Fengshenyanyi 封神演義) and the narrative of Kang Jeungsan (姜甑山) in The Canonical Scripture (Jeongyeong 典經). This examination occurs along three dimensions: Firstly, I look into the cultural contexts of the image of the Thunder God (雷神) in Gojoseon (古朝鮮) mythology and the Korean seondo (仙道) tradition both of which are reflected in the narrative of Wen Zhong. At the same time, I also argue that the cultural contexts examined above are able to be found in the narrative of Kang Jeungsan. Secondly, I consider the essential meaning of the concept of "deifying" (封神) in the narrative of Wen Zhong and its connection to "the resolution of grievances" (haewon 解冤) in the narrative of Kang Jeungsan. Thirdly, I consider the traits of embracing heterogeneous things (異類) in the religious group "Jiejiao" (截敎) that Wen Zhong belonged to in relation to the values of "mutual beneficence" (sangsaeng 相生) that Kang Jeungsan pursued. In this study's conclusion, I posit that the "mentalité" of Dong-yi (東夷) culture and tales including Yin (殷) is identifiable in narrative imagination applied to the God, Jiutian Yingyuan Leisheng Puhua Tianzun. This means that the nature of Jiutian Yingyuan Leisheng Puhua Tianzun is closely related to the tradition of Korean seondo and Korean Daoism.
