  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the body size and body characteristics of short-statured females in their 20s and 30s using direct measurement data from the 7th size Korea, and to analyze the differences in body dimensions and proportions between the regular and tall groups of short groups. The goal is to identify the dimension areas that need attention when designing and grading patterns for this short groups. As a result, it was found that the short group was shorter in height than the regular group, and the circumferential dimension was similar to the regular group. When designing patterns the tops, the grading of the Bust point-bust point is not necessary for the height, and it is not necessary to grade the Neck point to breast point in the short and regular group. These groups showed a difference in the front silhouette but not in the side silhouette. Based on these findings, the body types were classified into the following three types: 'most bulky and heavy', 'long lower body and small shoulder', and 'small and thin'. The type 1 population was the least distributed, and the relatively small and slim type was the most common. It is expected that the results of this study can be used as a reference when setting pattern designs, grading values, and production ratios by size for short women.

SCM415강에 대한 캄드릴링 특성연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Chamdrilling for SCM415 Steel)

  • This study analyzes machining characteristics and presents optimal cutting conditions by measuring the surface roughness, dimensional accuracy, and dimension straightness based on the feed rate after processing the inner diameter hall of SCM415 steel using an automatic CNC(Computerized Numerical Control) lathe. The testing material was cut using an 11.8 mm-diameter Chamdrill after mounting the 32 mm-diameter round bar on an automatic CNC lathe. The cut depth was set at 3 mm, and the cutting speed was fixed at 1500 rpm. The surface roughness, dimensional accuracy, and dimension straightness of 15 testings were measured by changing the feed rate to 0.05, 0.1, and 0.15 mm/rev, respectively. It was difficult to process more than 15 tests during the maching due to noise or break. Additionally, the optimum cutting of SCM415 steel showed excellent surface roughness in the 10th and 11th of testing at cutting speed and feed speed of 1500 rpm and 0.05 mm/rev, respectively. The dimensional accuracy was measured in three dimensions after drilling, which showed good results with an average range of 0.0138-0.0208 mm. Moreover, the lower the feed speed, the higher the accuracy. Additionally, the measurement results of the dimensional straightness showed that the straightness is the straightness was the best at the 1th and 2th cutting regardless of the feed speed.

다변량회귀에서 주선택 반응변수 차원축소 (Principal selected response reduction in multivariate regression)

  • 다변량 회귀분석은 경시적 자료분석이나 함수적 자료분석 등 다양한 분야에서 빈번하게 사용되는 통계적 방법론이다. 다변량 회귀분석은 설명변수의 차원 뿐만 아니라 반응변수의 차원때문에 일변량 회귀분석에서 보다 차원의 저주문제에 더 강한 영향을 받는다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 최근 Yoo (2018)와 Yoo (2019a)에 세 가지 모형기반 반응변수 차원축소 방법이 제시되었다. 하지만 Yoo (2019a)에서 제시한 기본 방법은 모의실험 결과 모형에 가장 영향을 덜 받지만, 다른 두 방법 중 더 나은 방법보다 더 좋은 추정결과를 제시하지 못한다. 이러한 단점을 극복하기 위해 본 논문에서는 기본 방법의 결과 다른 두 방법의 결과를 비교하여, 자료에 따라 최선의 방법을 제시하는 선택 알고리듬을 제시하고, 이를 주선택 반응변수 차원축소라 명명한다. 다양한 모의실험 결과 주선택 반응변수 차원축소는 Yoo (2019a)의 기본방법보다 더 정확하게 차원을 축소하고, 모든 경우에 있더 더 바람직한 방법을 선택함을 확인할 수 있다. 이러한 결과로 제안한 주선택 반응변수의 차원축소 방법의 실제적 유용성을 확인할 수 있다.

의사와 간호사의 환자안전교육 경험에 관한 포커스 그룹 연구 (Focus Group Study on Health Care Professionals' Experience of Patient Safety Education)

  • Purpose:This study aims to understand and explore the subjective experiences of patient safety education among health care professionals in developing a patient safety curriculum in South Korea. Methods: A qualitative descriptive study was conducted through two focus group interviews in the period October-December 2018. Eleven participants who underwent patient safety education participated in each session. All interviews were recorded and transcribed as spoken, and qualitative content analysis was used to identify categories of discussion depicting participants' subjective experience with patient safety education. Results: A total of three categories and seven themes were identified out of 77 units of analysis. Topics were identified in the dimensions of a patient safety curriculum, as follows: (1) activities for patient safety; (2) principle of patient safety (five rights, ethics, patient participation) and patient participation; (3) leadership, teamwork, and communication; and (4) reporting and learning system for patient safety events. In the dimension of methods, (5) case and evidence-based education and (6) multidisciplinary and small group teaching were identified. Finally, in the dimension of the system, (7) policies for patient safety education were identified. Conclusion: Our findings indicate that patient safety education is a significant area for health care professionals. Health care professionals suggested that a systematic patient safety curriculum would improve their knowledge and attitude toward patient safety. Moreover, it enables them to better construct a safety environment in a hospital.

오스테나이트계 중탄소 및 저탄소 스테인리스강의 입계부식 거동 분석 (Intergranular Corrosion Behavior of Medium and Low Carbon Austenitic Stainless Steel)

  • Austenitic stainless steel has been widely used because of its good corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. However, intergranular corrosion can occur if the alloy is welded or aged. The objective of this study was to determine intergranular corrosion behaviors of austenitic medium carbon (0.05 wt%) and low carbon (0.02 wt%) stainless steel aged at several conditions. Alloys were evaluated according to ASTM A262 Practice A, ISO 12732 DL-EPR (double loop-electrochemical potentiokinetic reactivation) test, and ASTM A262 Practice C. The degree of sensitization and intergranular corrosion rate were obtained. The relationship between the degree of sensitization and the intergranular corrosion rate showed a very large fluctuation. Such behavior might be related to whether two-dimension tests or three-dimension tests were performed. On the other hand, regardless of carbon content of alloys, when the intergranular corrosion rate increased, the degree of sensitization also increased. However, the DL-EPR test showed a higher sensitivity than the Huey test for differentiating the intergranular corrosion property at a low intergranular corrosion rate, while the Huey test had a higher sensitivity than the DL-EPR test for distinguishing the intergranular corrosion property at a high intergranular corrosion rate.

Video tracking을 이용한 병원성 세균에 감염된 angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare)의 행동 변화 분석 (Analysis of Behavioral Changes in Angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare) Infected with Bacterial Pathogens using Video Tracking)

  • In recent years, there have been many studies investigating changes in animal behavior using video tracking technology to track motion. However, there have been very few studies and results on changes in the behavior of fish infected with a pathogen. Therefore, the present study attempted to analyze the behavior of angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare) infected with bacterial pathogens using video tracking. Two cameras were placed in front of the water tank to obtain behavior data, and tracking was performed for three days until the day of death. Data such as average speed, changes in speed, the locations of the fish in the tank, and fractal dimension were statistically analyzed based on the fish speed and location in the tank of the fish. For bacterial infection, an individual angelfish was intraperitoneally injected with approximately 106 CFU ml-1 of Aeromonas hydrophila or Edwardsiella piscicida. The experiment was carried out five times for each group. Fish infected with the bacterial pathogens showed a tendency to increase in speed and to spend more time in the upper part of the tank one or two days before death. On the day the fish died, the average speed, changes in speed, and the fractal dimension value were significantly lower than the corresponding values in the control group, and the fish also remained in the lower part of the tank. Our results indicated that behavioral changes in fish could be successfully detected earlier than death using video tracking technology, and that this method presents potential for disease monitoring in aquaculture.

노인부양의 변화과정에 대한 생애사적 재구성 - 농촌노인의 관점을 중심으로 - (A Biographical Reconstruction of the Process Involving Changes in Elderly Support: From the Perspective of the Rural Elderly)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 현대화과정에서 나타나는 노인부양의 변화과정을 농촌노인의 관점에서 재구성하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 6쌍의 노인부부와 3차례에 걸쳐 Schütze의 '생애사적-이야기식 인터뷰' 17개를 하였고, 분석도 그의 '생애사적-이야기식 인터뷰 분석' 방법에 따라 하였다. 연구결과, 본 '생애사주체들'이 경험한 노인부양은 '가족부양'이 주를 이루는데, 현대화과정을 거치면서 '이중적으로 구조전환'된 것으로 나타났다. 즉 한편으로는 '세대 간 상호부양 차원의 가족부양'이 '세대 내 자기부양 차원의 가족부양'으로 변환되는 '내적 구조전환'이, 다른 한편으로는 '가족부양의 사회화'가 이루어지는 '외적 구조전환'이 나타났다는 것이다. 또한 이러한 '이중적 구조전환' 과정에서 나타난 부양규범과 부양행위는 '괴리'를 이루고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, '이중적 구조전환'에 대한 인식은 '양가적'으로 나타나고 있음을 분석하였다. 이러한 연구결과에 근거하여 현대화이론에 대한 비판적 논의를 하였고, 노인부양을 위한 실천적 함의도 제시하였다.

Integration of Laser Scanning and Three-dimensional Models in the Legal Process Following an Industrial Accident

  • Background: In order to obtain a deeper understanding of an incident, it needs to be investigated to "peel back the layers" and examine both immediate and underlying failures that contributed to the event itself. One of the key elements of an effective accident investigation is recording the scene for future reference. In recent years, however, there have been major advances in survey technology, which have provided the ability to capture scenes in three dimension to an unprecedented level of detail, using laser scanners. Methods: A case study involving a fatal incident was surveyed using three-dimensional laser scanning, and subsequently recreated through virtual and physical models. The created models were then utilized in both accident investigation and legal process, to explore the technologies used in this setting. Results: Benefits include explanation of the event and environment, incident reconstruction, preservation of evidence, reducing the need for site visits, and testing of theories. Drawbacks include limited technology within courtrooms, confusion caused by models, cost, and personal interpretation and acceptance in the data. Conclusion: Laser scanning surveys can be of considerable use in jury trials, for example, in case the location supports the use of a high-definition survey, or an object has to be altered after the accident and it has a specific influence on the case and needs to be recorded. However, consideration has to be made in its application and to ensure a fair trial, with emphasis being placed on the facts of the case and personal interpretation controlled.

원형 실린더가 존재하는 밀폐계의 종횡비 변화가 3차원 자연대류 현상에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Aspect Ratio of Enclosure with Inner Circular Cylinder on Three-Dimensional Natural Convection)

  • 본 연구는 밀폐계 내부에 고온의 원형 실린더가 존재할 때, 밀폐계의 종횡비 변화에 따른 밀폐계 내부의 3차원 자연대류 현상에 대해 수치해석을 수행하였다. 밀폐계 내부의 원형 실린더는 유한체적법(FVM)에 기초한 가상 경계법(IBM)을 사용하여 구현하였다. 본 연구에서 고려한 Rayleigh 수의 범위는 $10^5{\leq}Ra{\leq}10^6$이며, Prandtl 수는 0.7이다. 밀폐계의 폭을 변화하여 밀폐계의 종횡비를 증가시켰으며, 밀폐계의 종횡비는 $1{\leq}W/L{\leq}4$ 범위에서 1 간격으로 고려하였다. 본 연구에서 고려한 모든 Rayleigh 수와 밀폐계의 종횡비 범위에서 열유동장은 x=0 단면을 기준으로 좌우 대칭을 이루며 정상상태에 도달하였다. 또한 밀폐계의 종횡비가 증가할수록 원형 실린더의 표면 평균 Nusselt수는 증가하는 반면, 밀폐계 벽면의 표면 평균 Nusselt수는 감소하였다.

저자 인용 네트워크에서 명망성 지표의 차별된 영향력 측정기준에 관한 연구 (The Distinct Impact Dimensions of the Prestige Indices in Author Citation Networks)

  • 본 연구는 명망성 지표(closeness prestige, input domain, proximity prestige)를 인용 네트워크 내에서 특정 노드의 영향력 측정을 위한 유용한 척도로 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 명망성 지표의 영향력 측정기준에 대해 알려진 바가 없으므로 본 연구는 이 세 개의 명망성 지표와 다른 영향력 지표를 비교하고자 한다. 무방향 네트워크의 중심성 지표와 유사하게 명망성 지표는 유방향 네트워크에서 특정 중심 노드들을 차별화 시켜준다. 저자 인용 네트워크에서 수행된 상관분석과 주성분분석을 통하여 본 연구는 기존 영향력 지표와 차별된 명망성 지표만의 측정기준을 발굴하였다. 세 개의 무방향 네트워크 중심성 지표와 더불어 단순인용수, h-index, PageRank를 본 연구에서 제시한 명망성 지표와 비교하였다. 이러한 명망성 지표는 기존 영향력 지표와는 차별화된 영향력을 측정하고 있다는 결과를 도출하였으며 명망성 지표는 간접적인 영향력을 기존의 다른 영향력 지표는 직접적인 영향력을 반영한다.
