적합한 Epoxy 선정을 위한 EMC 모듈의 유한요소해석 (Finite Element Analysis of an EMC Module for Selecting Epoxy)

  • 스마트폰 배터리 사용시간이 짧아지는 문제의 해결방안으로 PMP(Protection Module Package)를 제안한다. PMP란 보호회로가 하나의 반도체로 구성하는 것을 의미한다. 이번 연구에서는 유한요소 해석을 통하여 EMC 모듈의 적합한 Epoxy 재질을 선정하기 위한 기반연구를 수행하였다. 먼저 굽힘강도 해석을 통하여 외부 힘에 대한 응력을 비교하였다. 다음 열해석에서, 계산한 발열량을 사용하여 EMC 모듈의 내부 부품의 온도 변화를 비교한다. 마지막으로, 충전률은 EMC 모듈 내의 용융된 에폭시를 주입하여 비교하였다.

  • Metalization technology of the fine patterns by electroless plating is required in place of electrodeposition as high-density printed boards(PCR) become indispensable with the miniaturization of electronic components. Electroless nickel plating is a suitable diffusion barrier between conductor meta1s, such as Al and Cu and solder is essetional in electronic packaging in order to sustain a long period of service. Moreover, Electroless nickel has particular characteristics including non-magnetic property, amorphous structure. wear resistance, corrosion protection and thermal stability In this study fundamental aspects of electroless nickel deposition were studied with effort of complexeing agents of different kinds. Then the property of electroless deposit are controlled by the composition of the deposition solution the deposition condition such as temperature and pH value and so on. the characteristics of the deposits has been carried out.

분말형 견운모를 혼입한 모르타르의 내화성능 연구 (Investigation on Fire Resistance of Mortar Made of Powder Type Sericite)

  • 분말형 견운모는 폐기물 재활용 차원에서 화학, 광물 분야에서 활발하게 연구가 이루어지고 있고, 비교적 저렴하게 구할 수 있는 재료이며, 일반 운모와 마찬가지로 낮은 열전도율을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 분말형 견운모를 활용하여 모르타르의 열전도율을 개선하고, 이를 통해 시멘트 복합체용 내화재료로서와 활용가능성을 확인하고자 하였다. 분말형 견운모를 혼입한 시멘트 모르타르를 제작하고, 이의 열전도율 및 고온 노출 전후의 압축강도를 비교 평가하여 내화성능을 규명하고자 하였다. 실험 결과에 따르면, 분말형 견운모를 혼입하는 경우 압축강도가 감소하는 것으로 나타났으며, 혼입량 증가에 따른 압축강도의 감소는 미미하였다. 분말형 견운모를 혼입하면, 열전도율이 감소하며, 600℃, 900℃, 1,200℃에 소성된 모르타르 시험체의 잔존강도가 플레인 모르타르에 비해 높게 나타났다. 실험 결과를 종합적으로 평가해 볼 때, 분말형 견운모는 시멘트 복합체용 내화 재료로서의 활용가능성이 존재한다고 결론지을 수 있다.

Alkaline induced-cation crosslinking biopolymer soil treatment and field implementation for slope surface protection

  • Xanthan gum and starch compound biopolymer (XS), an environmentally friendly soil-binding material produced from natural resources, has been suggested as a slope protection material to enhance soil strength and erosion resistance. Insufficient wet strength and the consequent durability concerns remain, despite XS biopolymer-soil treatment showing high strength and erosion resistance in the dried state, even with a small dosage of soil mass. These concerns need to be solved to improve the field applicability and post-stability of this treatment. This study explored the utilization of an alkaline-based cation crosslinking method using calcium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide to induce non-thermal gelation, resulting in the enhancement of the wet strength and durability of biopolymer-treated soil. Laboratory experiments were conducted to assess the unconfined compressive strength and cyclic wetting-drying durability performance of the treated soil using a selected recipe based on a preliminary gel formation test. The results demonstrated that the uniformity of the gel structure and gelling time varied depending on the ratio of crosslinkers to biopolymer; consequently, the strength of the soil was affected. Subsequently, site soil treated with the recipe, which showed the best performance in indoor assessment, was implemented on the field slope at the bridge abutment via compaction and pressurized spraying methods to assess feasibility in field implementation. Moreover, the variation in surface soil hardness was monitored periodically for one year. Both slopes implemented by the two construction methods showed sufficient stability against detachment and scouring, with a higher soil hardness index than the natural slope for a year.

삭마 및 열분해 반응을 고려한 고체 추진기관의 열해석 (Thermal Decomposition and Ablation Analysis of Solid Rocket Propulsion)

  • 고체 추진기관 노즐의 2차원 열반응 및 삭마 해석 코드를 활용하여 노즐 부품의 숯 및 삭마현상을 연구하였다. Arrhenius 식을 이용한 내부 열분해 모델 상수는 TGA(열중량분석기) 실험으로 얻었다. 탄소와 $H_2O$, $CO_2$의 산화반응에 의한 화학적 삭마는 Zvyagin이 제안한 삭마모델 과 반응속도 상수를 이용하여 해석을 수행하였다. 삭마에 의한 경계조건 및 격자 이동은 상용해석 프로그램인 MSC-Marc-ATAS에서 적용되는 Rezoning-remeshing 기법을 사용하였다. 해석된 숯 및 삭마 두께는 연소시험 결과 값과 최대 20% 오차를 보였다. 향후 열방호 시스템의 성능을 모사하기 위하여 내부 온도 및 열유속을 실시간 측정하면 3차원 FEM 통합 열구조 해석에 적용될 것으로 기대된다.

Analysis of DC insulation and properties of epoxy/ceramic composites with nanosized ZnO/TiO2 fillers

  • A molded transformer is maintenance-free, which makes it unnecessary to replace the insulating material, like in an oil-filled transformer, because the epoxy, which is a molded insulating resin, does not suffer variations in its insulating performance for heat cycles over a long time, as compared to insulating oil. In spite of these advantages, a molded transformer may still be accessed by the user, which is not good in regards to reliability or noise compared to the oil transformers. In particular, a distrust exists regarding reliability due to the long-term insulating performance. These properties have been studied in regards to the improvement of epoxy composites and molded transformer insulation. There have nevertheless been insufficient investigations into the insulation properties of epoxy composites. In this study, it is a researching of the epoxy for insulating material. In order to prepare the specimens, a main resin, a hardener, an accelerator, and a nano/micro filler were used. Varying amounts of TiO2 and ZnO nano fillers were added to the epoxy mixture along with a fixed amount of micro silica. This paper presents the DC insulation breakdown test, thermal expansion coefficient, and thermal conductivity results for the manufactured specimens. From these results, it has been found that the insulating performance of nano/micro epoxy composites is improved as compared to plain molded transformer insulation, and that nano/micro epoxy composites contribute to the reliability and compactness of molded transformers.

산화환경을 고려한 흑연 내열재의 고온파단특성 (Fracture Behavior of Graphite Material at Elevated Temperatures Considering Oxidation Condition)

  • 흑연은 우수한 열특성을 지니기 때문에 로켓 노즐목 재료로 많이 이용된다. 하지만 흑연은 소성영역을 동반하지 않으며 파괴되는 준취성 특성을 보이므로 일반구조재료와 비교해 보았을 때, 강도 관점에서 상대적으로 취약하며, $450^{\circ}C$ 이상에서 산화가 발생한다. 따라서 흑연 재료의 실구조체 적용을 위하여 이 재료에 대한 기계적 열적 특성 평가가 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 ATJ 계열 흑연의 고온파단특성에 대한 실험적인 연구를 수행하였다. 특히, 온도와 하중, 그리고 산화조건을 변수로 두어 강도 및 파단특성에 대한 상관관계를 연구하였다. 이를 위하여 ASTM 규정을 준수하여 상온, 500, $1,000^{\circ}C$에서 일축 압축 및 인장시험을 수행하였으며, 파단면은 SEM 촬영을 통하여 분석하였다.

방사성 동위원소 운반용기의 안전성 평가 (Safety Evaluation of a Radioisotope Transport Package)

  • 방사성 동위원소 등의 고준위 방사성물질을 운반하기 위한 운반용기는 국내외의 관련법규에 따라 정상수송은 물론 가상사고조건에서도 방사성물질의 누설이 발생되지 않도록 방사선차폐, 열 및 구조적 건전성이 유지되어야 한다. 운반용기의 건전성 평가는 시험모델을 이용한 시험적 방법과 전산해석 코드를 이용한 해석적 방법에 의하여 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 원자력연구소의 하나로에서 생산되는 동위원소를 동위원소 생산시설까지 이송하기 위한 HTS (Hydraulic Transfer System) 방사성 동위원소 운반용기의 안전성을 평가하였다. 방사선차폐해석, 열해석 및 구조해석을 수행한 결과 동위원소 운반용기는 정상수송조건 뿐만 아니라 가상사고조건에서도 건전성이 유지되는 것으로 나타났다.

이차전지 원료 해쇄용 그라인딩 디스크 어셈블리 내 열 유동 해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Thermal Flow Analysis in Grinding Disc Assembly for Disintegration of Secondary Battery Materials)

  • Sustained economic development around the world is accelerating resource depletion. Research and development of secondary batteries that can replace them is also being actively conducted. Secondary batteries are emerging as a key technology for carbon neutrality. The core of an electric vehicle is the battery (secondary battery). Therefore, in this study, the temperature change by the heat source of the hammer and the rotational speed (rpm) of the abrasive disc of the Classifier Separator Mill (CSM) was repeatedly calculated and analyzed using the heat flow simulation STAR-CCM+. As the rotational speed (rpm) of the abrasive disk increases, the convergence condition of the iteration increases. Under the condition that the inlet speed of the Classifier Separator Mill (CSM) and the heat source value of the disc hammer are the same, the disc rotation speed (rpm) and the hammer temperature are inversely proportional. As the rotational speed (rpm) of the disc increases, the hammer temperature decreases. However, since the wear rate of the secondary battery material increases due to the strong impact of the crushing rotational force, it is determined that an appropriate rpm setting is necessary. In CSM (Classifier Separator Mill), it is judged that the flow rate difference is not significantly different in the direction of the pressure outlet (Outlet 1) right above the classifier wheel with the fastest flow rate. Because the disc and hammer attachment technology is adhesive, the attachment point may deform when the temperature of the hammer rises. Therefore, it is considered necessary to develop high-performance adhesives and other adhesive technologies.

선풍기의 운전 상황별 발열특성 및 전류신호 검출 (Detection of Current Signal and Thermal Characteristics of Electric Fan Operated in Various Situations)

  • Cooling equipment is the frequent occurrence of fire despite the absence of the heating element. National fire statistics in 2013 show that a total of 263 fires occurred in the cooling equipment and the number of electric fan has 145 fire cases. This is accounted for 55.1% of the whole. Electric fan is the electrical appliance that the heat is generated on the winding wire and the iron core. If such characteristic is not controled properly, fire would break out at the electric fan. also there is a gap filled with an insulator between connection terminals of the capacitor in the electric fan. But in case that the gap on the capacitor is covered with some conductive material such as dust, there would be a fire as well caused by electrical heating locally. Although many studies related with those have been conducted, electric fan fire is continuously occurred. In this study, thermal characteristics and current signal in various conditions such as the heat generation of windings including iron cores of the motor and the dielectric breakdown of terminals on the capacitor connected to the motor were detected. In order to measure the maximum temperature, "third level" wind velocity button was pushed and the time selection switch to "continuation" was set. Analyzed data would be available for the fire safety of the electric fan.
