This study evaluates the flow of Taoism in the change of knowledge that accompany the passage of time beyond school-centered studies. In particular, it is to understand the Tao(道) and T'ien(天) of "Lao $Tz{\check{u}}$" and "Chuang $Tz{\check{u}}$" in the thought of T'ien at the time. The thought of T'ien at that time was based on the T'ien in "Mencius". There are two meanings of T'ien in "Mencius", and also of T'ien in "Lao $Tz{\check{u}}$" and "Chuang $Tz{\check{u}}$". This study examins that idea that the T'ien in "Lao $Tz{\check{u}}$" and "Chuang $Tz{\check{u}}$" were influenced by the thought of T'ien in "Mencius". It also reveals the T'ien theory of Wang Ch'ung(王充) which is influenced by Taoism. Also, in the course of examining the relation of T'ien theory of Wang Ch'ung with T'ien theories of "Lao $Tz{\check{u}}$" and "Chuang $Tz{\check{u}}$", it is more embodied that T'ien theories of "Lao $Tz{\check{u}}$" and "Chuang $Tz{\check{u}}$" were affected by the previous T'ien theories. Furthermore, the meanings of Tao in "Lao $Tz{\check{u}}$" and "Chuang $Tz{\check{u}}$" are revealed.

In the process of modernization from the traditional Korean Han-bok to today's modernized fashion. The Republic of Korea received the most influences form the United States among other western countries. The U. S. A. was the primary country who helped to release S. Korea from Japanese colonization in 1945, and provided the most economic and military aids after the Korean War in 1950. The purpose of this case study is to find out the traits of Americanization in modern Korean fashion through sociocultural evidences and reference pictures. The Americanization can be defined as the U. S. A. influencing cultures of other countries, and sometimes resulted in the substitution of a given culture with American culture. Americanization generally is a part of westernization. The analogous terms for Americanization, are Coca-colonization, McDonaldization, Starbuckslization, and Hollywoodization. The theories related to Americanization are theory of economic determination, global system theory, conspiracy theory, modernization theory, and theory of dependence. However, Americanization of Korea cannot be explained in one single theory, but only can be explained as a hybrid of two cultures. There also is a critical viewpoint of de-Americanization. Americanization of Korea were studied in three important chronicles, a period of modernization (1945-1950s), a period of industrialization & popularization(1960s-1970s), and a period of consumerization(1980s-present). The traits of Americanization in the process of modernizing Korean fashion, were found as simplicity, functionality, popularity(kitsch & mimicry), anti-traditional ethics(unchastity & skin revealing), and materialism(lavishness & trends).

In this paper we define a two parametric new generalized useful average code-word length $L_{\alpha}^{\beta}$(P;U) and its relationship with two parametric new generalized useful information measure $H_{\alpha}^{\beta}$(P;U) has been discussed. The lower and upper bound of $L_{\alpha}^{\beta}$(P;U), in terms of $H_{\alpha}^{\beta}$(P;U) are derived for a discrete noiseless channel. The measures defined in this communication are not only new but some well known measures are the particular cases of our proposed measures that already exist in the literature of useful information theory. The noiseless coding theorems for discrete channel proved in this paper are verified by considering Huffman and Shannon-Fano coding schemes on taking empirical data. Also we study the monotonic behavior of $H_{\alpha}^{\beta}$(P;U) with respect to parameters ${\alpha}$ and ${\beta}$. The important properties of $H_{{\alpha}}^{{\beta}}$(P;U) have also been studied.

There are many chapters in "The Yellow Emperor's Internal Classics(黃帝內經)" regarding systemizing months, seasons, meridians, the internal organs(藏府), and parts of body, However it is very confusing because in every chapter, they have different standards. In "Maek'ae(脈解)" of "Plain Questions(素問)", months are related to three $\breve{U}$m and three Yang(三陰三陽). In "Kuoh'imnon(九鍼論)" of "Miraculous Pivot(靈樞)", parts of body are related to seasons and days. In "$\breve{U}$myanggyeirwol(陰陽繫日月)" of "Miraculous Pivot(靈樞)", 12 meridians are related to the Heavenly Streams & Earthly Branches(干支). In "Chinyogy$\breve{o}$ngjongnon(診要經終論)" of "Plain Questions(素問)", the internal organs(藏府) and the head are related to months. In "K$\breve{u}$mgwejin$\breve{o}$llon(金匱眞言論)" of "Plain Questions(素問)", parts of body are related to four seasons. Following statements can be concluded when analyzed with the theory of y$\breve{o}$k(易). 1. Both in "The Yellow Emperor's Internal Classics(黃帝內經)" and "Chuyok(周易)", $\breve{U}$m and Yang are thought as the basis of everything and every change that occur in this universe is by the fluctuation of Yin and Yang. This rule is also applied to our body. 2. "Maek'ae(脈解)" of "Plain Questions(素問)" is related to the theory of twelve principal divinatory symbols and "Kuoh'imnon(九鍼論)" of "Miraculous Pivot(靈樞)" is closely related to the theory of eight divinatory saymbols-direction.

As improving the life quality of citizen because of development of Urbanization and Information, civil application service of public institutions has been changed. The government provides a 24-hour civil service of e-government, public institutions operate U-complaints call center to pursue a personalized service to customers. As customer service are diversified, the inconvenience of service is increased. Therefore, public institutions instituted U-complaints call center to solve increased complaints. In early days, public institutions operated simple call center. However, it became intelligent U-complaints call center by SNS. The more increase the importance of agents' contact customer service, the more increase Job Performance considered by Organizational Commitment & Job Satisfaction of call center agents. This study analyzed that applied to Fairness Theory with Organizational Commitment, Job Satisfaction and analyze U-complaints call center agents' role and job performance of public institutions. Proposed a research model applied to job satisfaction with key variables, organizational commitments, job satisfaction. It's expected to impact on job performance of U-complaints call center agents in public institutions. For empirical study of research model, conducted a survey of the U-complaints call center agents of public institutions. 170 samples were collected from the survey and analyze relationship between the factors. Procedural justice, distribution fairness, fairness interaction are significant influence on organizational commitment of parameters by analysis U-complaints call center agents. Procedural justice and fairness of interaction was found not to effect on parameters of job satisfaction. Also, parameter, organizational commitment have significant influence on job satisfaction. However, have no influence on job performance. Therefore, the parameters of job satisfaction have significant influence on job performance. Public institutions should adopt to improve the quality of citizen services through U-complaints call center agents.

This paper is a reflective study of contemporary Korean scholars' claims that they criticize the explanation of Zhu Xi(朱熹, 1130-1200)'s psychology in which he explains that the 24th Hexagram of $F{\hat{u}}$[復卦] shows the state that the mind has not happened yet[未發]. Zhu Xi explains the 24th Hexagram of $F{\hat{u}}$[復卦] with the theory of no mind yet[未發說]. Several scholars in modern Korea, however, raise the question of whether "thoughtless[思慮未萌] but being not dark to perception[知覺不昧]" of the 24th Hexagram of $F{\hat{u}}$ is enough to explain the state of no mind yet. And they think that "thoughtless[思慮未萌]" is appropriate to explain the state in which the mind has not yet occurred, but it is not to "being not dark to perception". In this study, we would like to show that Zhu Xi's interpretation of the 24th Hexagram of $F{\hat{u}}$[復卦] fully explains the fact that "thoughtless[思慮未萌] but being not dark to perception[知覺不昧]" explain the theory of no mind yet[未發說]. Zhu Xi's 'the theory of no mind yet[未發說]' is divided into two periods, a period of 'old theory on $zh{\bar{o}}ngh{\acute{e}}$[中和舊說]' and a period of 'new theory on $zh{\bar{o}}ngh{\acute{e}}$[中和新說]'. He develops 'the theory of no mind yet[未發說]' on the basis of 'the theory that nature is body and mind is action[性體心用說]' during the period of old theory, and develops the theory[未發說] based on 'the theory that mind controls nature and feelings[心統性情說]' during the new theory. Between the two periods, the status of the mind changes from "the mind has already happened[已發]" to "through which the mind has not yet arisen and the mind has already risen[未發已發]". And its role also changes from 'what nature is happened' to 'presiding on nature and emotion.' This change affects the interpretation of the idea that the mind has not yet happened, that thoughts have not budged yet[思慮未萌], perception is not dark[知覺不昧].

In this paper, we study the existence of positive solutions for singular impulsive differential equations with integral boundary conditions $$\{u^{{\prime}{\prime}}(t)+q(t)f(t,u(t),u^{\prime}(t))=0,\;t{\in}\mathbb{J}^{\prime},\\{\Delta}u(t_k)=I_k(u(t_k),u^{\prime}(t_k)),\;k=1,2,{\cdots},p,\\{\Delta}u^{\prime}(t_k)=-L_k(u(t_k),u^{\prime}(t_k)),\;k=1,2,{\cdots},p,\\u=(0)={\int}_{0}^{1}g(t)u(t)dt,\;u^{\prime}=0,$$) where the nonlinearity f(t, u, v) may be singular at v = 0. The proof is based on the theory of Leray-Schauder degree, together with a truncation technique. Some recent results in the literature are generalized and improved.

The purpose of this study is to find the complementary idea of the psychological elements in aesthetic expression of architectural space in the sense of healing. Marks $L\ddot{u}scher$, the swiss psychologist suggested reasonable categories of emotional character according to the couple combinations among Content, Self-Esteem, Confidence, and Liberty. His theory on healing is not only the concept but the practical method to understand and control the conflict between contrary elements of emotion. Compared to the Freud's objective theory of cause and consequence, his idea is focused on the subjective and autonomous harmony. This theory based on complementary idea is applied to psychological attitude of architects on Spatial Expression in this study. Refuge, Prospect, Flow and Void are assumed as equivalent spatial elements to the four major emotional conditions suggested by $M.L\ddot{u}scher$. The couple combinations among them also characterize the architectural characters definitely and it is expected to be the reasonable criteria in analysing aesthetic value and motive of creating human space.

This study is the analysis of characteristics of hospital space for the holistic healing environment of children on the basis of the healing theory on emotion of Max L$\ddot{u}$scher and the healing theory on senses of Rudolf Steiner of the overseas children's hospitals. According to the theory of Rudolf Steiner, children make comprehensive advancement of physical, spirit and soul through the interaction of 12 senses. In addition, Max Luscher asserts that the psychological health can be maintained when the 4 emotional status in content, confidence, self-esteem and liberty make the balance. The 4 elements of Luscher have correspond with spatial expression elements for refuge, flow, prospect and void, and this is analyzed in conjunction with the eight kinds of behavior affordance of ying and yang (-, +) that helps our the advancement of 12 senses of Steiner. WORK & STUDY(+), REST(-), MOBILITY(+), VISUAL SEQUENCE(-), SOCIAL EXCHANGE(+), REFRESHMENT(-), COMMUNITY(+) and MEDITATION (-) would be the 8 kinds of behavioral affordances to make the healing environment as presented in this study and the case analysis for children's hospitals have been undertaken.

This paper develops a spectral element model for the composite beams with a surface-bonded piezoelectric layer from the governing equations of motion. The governing equations of motion are derived from Hamilton's principle by applying the Bernoulli-Euler beam theory for the bending vibration and the elementary rod theory for the longitudinal vibration of the composite beams. For the PZT layer, the Bernoulli-Euler beam theory and linear piezoelectricity theory are applied. The high accuracy of the present spectral element model is evaluated through the numerical examples by comparing with the finite element analysis results.
