동축선로로 급전된 원통형 에지-슬롯 안테나의 이론 및 실험 (Theory and Experiment of the Cylindrical Edge-Slot Antenna with Coaxial Line Feed)

  • A theoretical method has been considered for the analysis of a cylindrical edge-slot antenna which belongs to a class of circumferential slot antennas that are suitable for conformal mounting on conducting bodies of revolution. A coupled integral equation is formulated for unknown magnetic currents of both the coaxial aperture and the edge slot, and solved by the moment method. Theoretical values for reflection coefficient obtained based upon the method are compared with our experimental values and other author's results available. There arre good agreement between them.

  • This study describes a practical method of measurement of the sustained stress in concrete structures. In most cases, the sustained stress was determined by various theoretical calculations. However, the theoretical calculations can not always provide sufficient informations about current stress state having lots of uncertainty. Therefore, the present study proposes a practical measuring method, Partial Sectioning Method.

  • The international raw silk grade classification method has been amended for several times since it has been created in 1932. S쳐h rather periodical changes have been raised as problems not because of it was created by scientifical research background or academical base but because of rather commercial aspect. This paper is, however, discussed by throughful academical aspect regardless raw silk sailers or buyers commercial interest. After carring a theoretical approach with thoroughful investigation on this matter, this paper happened to compare the current raw silk grade classification method against the developed theoretical silk grade classification method, which they happened to be much different each other.   • Urban quality of life(QOL) is recently considered as the important determinant of inter-urban migration and industrial location chice. However, there is little concensus in the method of measurement of QOL. This study provides an theoretical framework of the measurement of QOL. This study provides an theoretical framework of the measurement of QOL, and developes a new method, a multi-year$\cdot$mulit-dimensional distance index model. Based on the theoretical framework and the method, the QOLs of 74 urban areas in Korea are measured, and the determinants of the QOL and the changes of the QOL between two years of 1993 and 1995 are analyzed. The results of the analysis are as follows: 1) The interurban differences of the QOL tens to be interban differences of the QOL tend to be intensified over time. 2) The OQLs of the cities in the Capital Region are relatively deteriorated. 3) The conditions of education$\cdot$Culture$\cdot$leisure life determiner over 65% of the QOL of the Korean cities.

  • An experimental method to estimate the added mass of a marine propeller has been developed for the axial rigid body motion in still water, and the experiments have been carried out. The experimental result has been compared to the theoretical result by PRODAS based on the unsteady lifting surface theory. The experimental method developed in this research and the theoretical method by PRODAS have been validated by confirming good agreements between the experimental results and the theoretical ones. Also the comparison to the results by empirical formula has been made and discussed.

  • The purpose of this paper is to predict the cutting force, utilizing new model of double cutting edge which has normal rake angle and tool inclination angle. Changing side, back rake angle and side cutting edge angle in the new model. Three dimensional cutting force was obtained by the use of .eta. /c=i proposed by Stabler and energy method for three dimen- sional cutting force. Theoretical results has been calculated with development of optimization algorism which can be put into three dimensional theory, using the method of least square with orthogonal cutting data. IT is proved that three dimensional cutting force is to be predicted accurately only if orthogonal cutting force by equalizing theoretical result and experimental result has been calculated.

  • The study is concerned with the theoretical and experimental investigation of axisymmetric fluid pressure-driven hydroforming of sheet metal by forming over the die cavity. The rigid-plastic finite element method is employed to calculate the stress and strain distribution. The effect of blank size and die radius is also studied in the finite element analysis. Experiments are carried out for hydroforming of cold-rolled steel sheets under various process conditions. The computational results are compared with the experimental results for the forming pressure vs. pole displacement relations and strain distributions. Comparison has shown that theoretical predictions by the finite element method are in good agreement with the experiment with the experimental observations. Thus, it is shown that the rigid-plastic finite element method is effectively used in the analysis of axisymmetric fluid pressure-driven hydroforming process.

  • The analysis of structures may be classified into three categories: theoretical, numerical, and experimental approaches. The numerical and experimental methods are very useful when the structures to be analyzed have complicated shapes or geometry because theoretical methods are restricted to simple and special cases. However, the theoretical methods are very important analysis in the viewpoint that they can give basic insight for the structural behavior. Among them the modal model method is widely used because of the powerful propertiy of eigenfunctions(mode shapes), or orthogonality. In this paper, the modal model method was reviewed and studied for various models for structures: string, beam, membrane, and plate. Governing equations and solution methods were compared and a structural-acoustic coupling system was used for an application.

유해유기물질에 대한 미생물 분해 반응식의 이론적 예측 (Theoretical Estimation of Stoichiometry for Biodegradation of Hazardous Organic Compounds)

  • 유해유기물질의 미생물 분해시 일어나는 총괄반응을 이론적으로 예측하는 방법을 기술하였다. 열역학적 이론을 바탕으로 하는 반쪽반응 방법을 사용하,였고, 최근에 도입된 이론들인 중간체 생성 반응, oxygenation반응, 그룹이론에 의한 표준 자유생성에너지 예측기법 등을 적용하였다. 대표적인 유해유기물질인 phenanthrene과 함께 glucose, hexadecane의 미생물 분해 반응식을 실제로 계산하였다. 예측된 총괄반응식을 이용하여 미생물 수율, 산소 요구량, 질소 요구량, 무기화율 등의 정보를 얻을 수 있었으며, 이는 오염된 지하수/토양의 생물복원 공법 설계 및 자연정화평가 등에 유용하게 적용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • 종래부터 CATV 및 MATV 시스템에서 신호전송용으로 널리 사용되고 있는 Tap-off는 단지 경험직+실험적으로 제작되러 왔으며, 이론적인 해석이나 엄밀한 설계법이 확립되어 있지 않았기 때문에 그 성능에 있어서도 대역폭이 좁거나 분기특성이 나쁜 문제점이 있었다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 원형의 약결합형 신호분기기에 보조변성기가 부가된 변형된 약결합형 신호분기기들 제안하여 설계의 자유도를 높임으로써 대단히 조밀한 결합간격의 회로구성이 가능함을 밝히고, 또한 이들에 대한 이론적 주파수특성을 계산하여 신험치와 비교함으로써 제안한 설계법의 타당성을 확인하였다.
