We present an algorithm to find an approximation for the stationary distribution for the general ergodic spatially-inhomogeneous block-partitioned upper Hessenberg form. Our approximation makes use of an associated upper block-Hessenberg matrix which is spa-tially homogeneous except for a finite number of blocks. We treat the MAP/G/1 retrial queue and the retrial queue with two types of customer as specific instances and give some numerical examples. The numerical results suggest that our method is superior to the ordinary finite-truncation method.

This paper consider a new weighted model reduction using block diagonal solutions of Lyapunov inequalities. With the input and/or output weighting function, the stability of reduced order system is quaranteed and a priori error bound is proposed. to achieve this, after finding the solutions of two Lyapunov inequalities and balancing the full order system, we find the reduced order systems using the direct truncation and the singular perturbation approximation. The proposed method is compared with other existing methods using numerical example.

In this paper, we discuss the vibration suppression control of spatial redundant flexible manipulators through pseudo-inversed of Jacobian. In order to verify our method, the experiments are performed for PTP(Point To Point) motion of spa-tial flexible manipulators(1) with no redundancy(2) with one redundant DOF(degree of freedom). Finally, a comparison between these results is presented to show the performance of out approach.

This study was undertaken to assess overall effects of bisphenol A, a monomer widely used in manufacturing polycarbonate plastics or epoxy resin, exposure on immune system of mice. For in vitro evaluation, serial concentration of SPA was added into culture of various immune cells from normal female ICR mice, and for in vivo or ex vivo assessment, mice were orally exposed to BPA dissolved in olive oil as doses of 500, 1000, 2000 mg/g b.w. for acute expose or 100, 500, 1000 mg/kg/day b.w. 5days a week for subacute exposure. 부채널 공격(side channel attack)을 막는 새로운 접근방법으로 생각되는 랜덤 부호화 스칼라 곱 알고리즘은 Ha와 Moon에 의해서 제안되었다. 그러나 이 방법은 여전히 논쟁의 여지가 있다. 본 논문에서는 Ha-Moon 알고리즘이 기존의 세 가지 단순 전력 소모량 분석(simple power analysis, SPA)에 안전함을 보인다. 그리고 정수론의 성질을 이용하여 두 가지 중요한 정리를 제시하고 이 정리들을 이용하여 Ha-Moon 알고리즘에 적용할 수 있는 공격 알고리즘을 개발한다. 예를 들면, 163-비트 키들에 대하여 제안 알고리즘은 20개의 전력 소모량을 이용하여 키 복잡도 Ο(2$^{8}$ )를 가지고 공격할 수 있다.

본 연구는 (s, S) 재고시스템의 최적 재고정책을 수립하는 문제를 시뮬레이션을 통하여 분석하고자 한다. 이러한 목적으로 재고관리비용에 대한 파라미터 (s, S)의 민감도를 퍼터베이션 분석법으로 구하고 확률 최적화 기법을 적용하여 단위 기간에 평균 재고관리비용을 최적으로 하는 재고정책을 발견하였다. 민감도의 추정에는 IPA법과 SPA법을 표본경로의 주문 사건 변동에 따라 조건적으로 결합하여 사용하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과 s와 S의 최적정책 추정치를 상당히 정확한 값으로 얻었으며 이러한 결과는 보다 일반적인 재고관리 문제의 분석에 도움을 줄 것으로 기대한다.

Dependency parsing is often used as a component in many text analysis pipelines. However, performance, especially in specialized domains, suffers from the presence of complex terminology. Our hypothesis is that including named entity annotations can improve the speed and quality of dependency parses. As part of BLAH5, we built a web service delivering improved dependency parses by taking into account named entity annotations obtained by third party services. Our evaluation shows improved results and better speed.

The importance of VMD operation strategies in fashion business is growing, and this study analyzed the difference in consumers' VMD cognition of the two VMD operation systems: VMD specialist employment system and VMD outsourcing system. Two SPA brands were selected as the representative cases of the two VMD operation systems. A statistical analysis was performed using data collected from a total of 206 university and graduate students from an experimental study. Paired t-test and independent t-test were used for the analysis. The results are as follow: First, consumers' VMD cognition of the two VMD operating systems were different, and the VMD specialist employment system was valued higher than the VMD outsourcing system in all cognition dimensions. Second, the VMD specialist employment system was valued generally higher than the VMD outsourcing system regardless of gender, clothing involvement, and VMD interest of consumers. Third, the VMD specialist employment system was valued higher than the VMD outsourcing system in the following aesthetic aspects: harmony, attractiveness, and fashionable dimensions by the male, low involvement, and the VMD interested consumers. Fourth, the VMD outsourcing system was valued higher than the VMD specialist employment system in the appropriateness and the functionality dimensions by females and the high-involvement consumers, It also scored higher in the fashionable and attractive dimensions by the VMD interested consumers.

The Therme Vals is a hotel and spa which combines a complete sensory experience designed by Peter Zumthor. This study aims to find emotional design approaches of the Therme Vals through references, observation from site visit, interview and discussion related to this topic. This space was designed for visitors to luxuriate and rediscover the ancient benefits of bathing. The combinations of light and shade, open and enclosed spaces and linear elements make for a highly sensuous and restorative experience. The study observed the emotional design characteristics of the Therme Vals through space approach, aesthetic and experiential sides. For space approach side, emotional experience in gradual process to approach the space was mentioned, for aesthetic side, mystical combination of light, stone and water was observed, for experiential side, 5 senses experience and space programing for adjusting the density of the space were observed. This study found that the spa has the quality of spiritual, soul-touching delight like religious experience. The fascination for the mystic qualities of a world of stone within the mountain, for darkness and light, for light reflections on the water or in the steam saturated air, pleasure in the unique acoustics of the bubbling water in a world of stone, the ritual of bathing-all these notions were explained in Peter Zumthor's construction details. In the result of the interview and discussion, people love the space and praised it highly for the emotional design regardless of space experience, age, sex or ethnicity. Emotional design approaches based on human nature, materiality, and memory of the places is more powerful than other emotional design ideas with technical devices, special themes, digital effects, vivid colors and shapes.
