  • The purpose of this study is to explore ways to nurture creative and fusion-type talents centered on ANT. In order to nurture creative and convergence-type talents centered on ANT, first, it is necessary to utilize Kao's Law in the network formation stage. Second, it is necessary to utilize the strong power of weak ties in the network formation stage. Third, in order to cause a stir in the stage of raising questions among the four stages of translation, the ability to ask questions must be developed. Fourth, education in various creative problem-solving techniques is needed to throw a stir. Fifth, in order to successfully intervene in the second stage of the four stages of translation, the stage of attracting attention, communication and critical thinking skills must be trained. Suggestions for follow-up research are: First, it is necessary to compare and analyze the four stages of translation and the stage of the creative problem-solving model presented by ANT. Second, it is expected that there will be follow-up studies that apply specific cases centering on ANT.

  • Sp3 is a bifunctional transcription factor that has been reported to stimulate or repress the transcription of numerous genes. Although the size of Sp3 mRNA is 4.0kb, the size of the known Sp3 cDNA sequence is 3.6kb. Thus, Sp3 functional studies have been performed with an artificially introduced start codon, and thus an amino-terminus that differs from the wild-type. Ideally, full-length cDNA expression vectors with the appropriate start codon should be utilized for these studies. Using 5'rapid amplification of cDNA ends, a full-length Sp3 cDNA clone was generated and the sequence verified in nine cell lines. No AUG initiation codon was present. However, stop codons were present in all three frames 5' to the known coding sequence. In vitro translation of this full-length cDNA clone produced the expected three isoforms-one at 100 kDa and two in the mid 60 kDa range. Electrophoretic mobility shift assays showed that the protein products had the ability to bind to the Sp1/3 consensus sequence. In vitro studies, using our Sp3 clone and site directed mutagenesis, identified the translation initiation site for the larger isoform as AUA. AUA has not been previously described as an endogenous initiation codon in eukaryotes.

  • There are large, medium, and small items in the evaluation test for medical interpreter professionals personnel and the criteria and level are not clear, which may cause confusion for those preparing for the test. Therefore, we would like to suggest that the qualification requirements for the medical translation ability test and the criteria for the evaluation items are consistent with the medical system in Korea. The survey on the medical interpreter competency test conducted was collected from domestic and foreign data, compared with similar test and overseas test. We also examined the perception of the test by experts with experience in developing and interpreting the medical interpretation test. As a result, in the 'International Culture' evaluation category, 'Language-oriented culture' was changed to 'Medical-oriented culture' and 'Interpretation ethics' was changed to 'Medical interpretation ethics'. In the evaluation items of the hospital system, the 'Medical Dispute Mediation Act', which is 「ACT ON MEDIATION OF MEDICAL DISPUTES」 of the middle item was changed the 「ACT ON REMEDIES FOR INJURIES FROM MEDICAL MALPRACTICE AND MEDIATION OF MEDICAL DISPUTES」 and the Act also reduced the four items related to the 'Medical Tourism Law' to two and added the 「ACT ON SUPPORTING THE ADVANCEMENT OF MEDICAL OVERSEAS AND ATTRACTING FOREIGN PATIENTS」. If the Medical Interpretation Proficiency Test is prepared in accordance with the medical culture of Korea, it is expected that there will be a stable opportunity for professionals who pass the examination to act as experts.

  • As the usefulness of internet is kept changing more productively with web 1.0, web 2.0 usage of XML is also increasing very rapidly. In XML environment the most critical function is the ability of effective retrieval of useful information from XML repository. That makes the W3C XQuery more popular XQuery has very complicated structure as a query language due to the semi_structured nature of XML. FLOWOR, which stand for, let. where, order by, return, is the most commonly used expression in XQuery. In this paper we suggest the methods to handle XQuery FLWOR on relational environments. We also analyze and evaluate our approach to prove its correctness.
