  • Currently, Korean museums use gamification in addition to various viewing methods, such as video and VR/AR. However, museums using museum gamification are still progressing to a special program level. The purpose of this paper is to make the contents of the museum easy to understand and to give the viewers fun. This paper goes beyond the existing museum gamification and proposes a museum story gamification that combines story elements with gamification. This proposal system collects information from each museum in cooperation with museums, art galleries, and exhibition halls and proceeds with related story games. Museum Story Gamification provides related stories according to the theme of the museum and allows viewers to select their own stories. Also, based on the story, you can directly select the difficulty level that suits you and play a personalized game. Unlike the general museum program, the methodology proposed in this paper allows visitors to experience the museum with various story contents. In addition, it will contribute to the development and implementation of programs with gamification in other tourism fields as well as museums.

  • As a basic element of Jeju landscape, Oreum offers a beautiful and aesthetic view. Considering topographical and geological research achievements, however, an effort to discover implicit value in terms of landscape characteristics and value has been ignored. This paper has investigated the characteristics and value of landscape by Oreum focusing on Jeju landscape characteristics and eco-touristic value and discussed a scheme to maximize the values. Under a theme of 'Sustainable Development' of the RIO Declaration, tour industry has recently changed its focus from eco-tourism to gee-tourism. Fortunately, Jeju Oreum has very distinctive and unique landscape with depressed crater at a crest. Nevertheless, it's very difficult to see a true aspect of Oreum from the street or over the car window. Therefore, it's urgent to begin a research on how to make advantage of and preserve Oreum landscape in order to maximize its landscape values and improve its potential as a tourist attraction. Through diverse programs such as sky leisure sports(ex: light airplane and helicopter riding, paragliding), sky watching, and mountain hiking, in particular, a possibility that Oreum can succeed as LBD(Learning by Doing)-based tour program with volcanic features needs to be examined. Besides, it's also a good idea to develop Oreum tour program or Oreum Museum as an alternative plan. Above all, however, it's most urgent to protect the existing Oreum and restore ecological and landscape beauty of Oreum through proper land use.

According to the analysis, Taiwan's target audience conducted an interview at the Chimac Festival in July 2018 at Duryu Park and was a university student as an individual female tourist. She got the information through SNS. The accommodation was guest house and medium and low cost hotel. The main tourist attractions included Seomun Market Night Market, Eworld and Dongseongno. The meals were Anjirang Gopchang and Galbijim in Dongin-dong. Next, the Hong Kong tourist interview was held in May 2018 at the Kwandeung Festival in Duryu Park, and was an individual tourist as a man. Lastly, an interview with a Thai tourist was held in April 2018 at the Donghwa Temple Cherry Blossom Festival in Palgongsan Mountain, and he purchased a travel agent product as a man. Participants of the tour in Daegu were interested in unusual experiences such as beauty, wedding, theme parks, and restaurants that are unique to Korea. What was disappointing was that there were not enough shopping facilities, such as duty free shops, and that the table in the restaurant was inconvenient, and that there were not enough signboards by language for foreigners.

  • The cultural content industry can be stimulated by the production of content based on Korean traditional culture such as Korean court culture. At present, the use of royal costumes of various Korean dynasties for content creation is rare. Less than ten government-supported projects managed by the Korea Culture & Content Agency (KOCCA) are related with Korean royal costumes. Only a handful of tourism-related cultural products (e.g., souvenirs and theme parks) are related to this subject. Fortunately, there are many events that demonstrate traditional court ceremonies; however, there is a need for more investment in academic research to ensure accurate reproduction. There are a number of issue in utilizing traditional royal costumes to produce cultural content that include: a lack of understanding the importance of Korean royal costumes, discrepancies of the content produced based on the historical context, a lack of public knowledge or support, and the lack of the historical accuracy of reproduced content. In order to benefit the most from royal costumes, this article suggests recreating the costumes as a source for further content creation, the development of a database to store information by design features and itemized topics, along with the active support of the government.
