간호대학생의 노인에 대한 행동에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing Behavior toward the Elderly in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the level of nursing students' knowledge, attitude and behavior toward the elderly; correlations between the variables; and the factors influencing the behavior. Methods: Data were collected by 380 nursing students using a self-questionnaire from February 13th to 24th of 2017. Data were analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients and stepwise linear regression with SPSS WIN 19.0. Result: The scores of knowledge, attitude and behavior toward elderly were 11.96 points (range 0~25), 4.51 points (range 1~7), 3.48 points (range 1~4), respectively. Significant differences were found in knowledge, attitude and behavior according to volunteer experience. There were positive correlations between the three variables. Factors influencing the behavior were volunteer experiences and the attitude toward the elderly, which explained about 17.7% of total variance. Conclusion: These results indicate a need to develop the gerontological nursing education program to lead to an increase of positive attitudes including volunteer work for the elderly. Accordingly, the program will help strengthen the nursing students' positive behavior toward the elderly.

The Effect of Online Supporter's Review Directions on Consumers' Brand Attitude and Purchase Intention: The Role of Brand Awareness

  • Online supporters are the group of people selected by companies for the online promotion of their products or services and focus on generating messages that are conducive to stimulating hands-on experiences with companies' products and services to create advertising effects. This study examined how reviews offered by blogs operated by fashion brands' online supporters influence consumer's brand attitudes and purchase intentions. Specifically, this study examined how brand awareness and directions of review messages influences consumers' brand attitudes and purchase intentions. This study employed a 2 (brand awareness: high awareness vs. low awareness) ${\times}$ 3 (review direction: one-sided positive, two-sided positive & negative, one-sided negative) between-subject factorial design. In total, 180 respondents participated, thus garnering 30 responses for each of the six conditions. The results of two-way ANOVA revealed the significant main effect supporters' review message direction on consumers' brand attitudes and purchase intentions. Two-sided messages were rated high for brand attitude and purchase intention compared to one-sided positive or negative or positive directions. The interactions between brand reputation and message direction were significant for brand attitude, but not for purchase intention.

레스토랑의 물리적 환경지각이 고객 태도형성에 미치는 영향 : 감정반응의 중개역할을 중심으로 (The Influence of Physical Environment Perception on Restaurant Patrons' Attitude Formation : The Mediating Role of Emotional Responses)

  • This research examines how various dimensions of physical environments influence patrons' psychological responses(especially emotional responses) in the restaurant service setting, and how these emotional responses, in turn, influence patrons' attitude formation. The result of empirical research indicates that restaurant physical environments have a significant effect patrons' emotional responses, and that these psychological experiences serve as critical mediators in the restaurant physical environments-store attitudes relationship. However, the effects of restaurant physical environments on patrons' psychological responses varied with the dimensions of physical environments. First, the effect of cleanliness on emotional responses was most significant, especially on negative emotion, out of 4 dimension of restaurant physical environment. Second, ambient conditions are the most important predictor on customers' positive emotion, and in turn, positive emotion has the most significant effects on customers' attitude formation of restaurant. Therefore, the result suggests that restaurants should manage(or, improve) their ambient conditions(e.g. background music, scents, ventilation, noise etc.) for efficiently maximizing customers' positive attitude. The implications of this study are discussed, and ideas for future work suggested.

패스트 패션 브랜드 사랑의 선행변수와 결과변수 (Antecedents and Consequences of Brand Love for Fast Fashions)

  • Brand love contributes to consumers' positive post-purchase behavior; therefore, fast fashion brand marketers should make more efforts to develop marketing strategies to promote brand love in the increasingly competitive fast fashion industry. This study identified the antecedents and consequences of fast fashion brand love to provide insights into brand love. Brand-related variables (affective brand experience, self-expressive brand, and hedonic brand attitude) were considered as antecedents, and post-purchase behavior variables (loyalty and positive word of mouth) were considered as consequences. It was hypothesized that affective brand experience, self-expressive brand, and hedonic brand attitude directly and indirectly influence brand loyalty and positive word of mouth through brand love. Data were gathered by surveying university students in Seoul, using convenience sampling. Two hundred and eighty-six questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis. Factor analysis revealed that all variables were uni-dimensional. Tests of the hypothesized path showed that affective brand experience and self-expressive brand indirectly influenced brand loyalty and positive word of mouth through brand love versus the direct influence of hedonic brand attitude. The results suggest some implications for fast fashion brand marketers.

The relationship between dementia-related knowledge and attitude in people in their 20s and 60s

  • This study is a cross-sectional survey study aimed at collecting basic data for the development of a program to cultivate a positive attitude toward dementia among people caring for dementia patients. For this study, data were collected from March 1 to March 7, 2022 as a structured questionnaire, and 232 study participants were in their 20s to 60s. The collected data were derived from chi-square test, t-test, and simple regression analysis using the spss 18.0 program. As a result of the analysis, women had higher treatment knowledge for dementia than men, men had higher attitudes toward dementia than women (p<0.01), and people living with dementia patients had higher attitudes than those who gave birth (p<0.01). Attitudes toward dementia were more positive in the family than those with dementia patients (p<0.01). Dementia-related knowledge consists of disease knowledge, treatment knowledge, and nursing knowledge, of which only positive dementia attitude affects dementia treatment knowledge (t=5.29, p<0.01). Based on these results, it is suggested that the provision of accurate knowledge about dementia treatment should be planned first as a nursing program for dementia patients.

  • To investigate perception and attitude toward Group Health Management and Service System for Small and Medium Industries, a survey using self-administered questionnaire was conducted to a part of industries in Inchon, at October 1992. Major dependent variables were perception, attitude, and practice related with Group Health Management and Service System; these variables were measured by 3-point Likert like scale consisted of 7, 5, and 5 items, respectively. Data were collected in 149 industries,72.7% out of 205. Perception nab slightly high, 1.25; attitude was some positive, 1.46; and practice was some passive,0.94. Major determinants of perception, attitude, and practice were sex and age of industry's health manager; perception influenced upon attitude, and perception and attitude had positive effect upon practice. To activate Group Health Management and Service System, it is necessary to develop education and promotion programs for industry's health managers of small and medium industries.

  • The purpose of this study was to understand effects of culinary staff's technology kitchen system upon perceived ease of use, usefulness, attitude, and job performance in the foodservice industry. Based on a total of 387 samples obtained from empirical research, this study reviewed the reliability and fitness of the research model and verified a total of four hypotheses using the Amos program. The hypothesized relationships in the model were tested simultaneously using a structural equation model (SEM). The proposed model provided an adequate fit to the data, ${\chi}^2$=226.501 (df=85), p<.001, CMIN/df 2.665, RMR .066, GFI .927, NFI .926, IFI .952, TLI .941, CFI .952. The results show that culinary staff's perceived ease of use(${\beta}$=.534) had a significant positive effect on perceived usefulness. Also, perceived ease of use (${\beta}$=.350) and perceived usefulness (${\beta}$=.297) had a positive significant effect on attitude. Further, attitude (${\beta}$=1.647) had a significant positive effect on job performance. Limitations and future research directions are also discussed.

인터넷 보험에 대한 소비자태도와 수용성향 연구 (Consumer Attitude and Purchase Willingness of Internet Insurance)

  • The Objective of this study was to investigate the consumer attitude and purchase willingness of internet insurance. Data were collected from 412 adult consumers who had bought car insurance at least once. Results showed that respondents have positive as well as negative attitude toward internet insurance. The best thing of internet insurance seems tn be the low rate of insurance premium while the worst thing seems to be the risk of personal information disclosure. However, about two thirds of respondents answered that they were willing to purchase internet insurance if the insurance premium were discounted more than $25\%$ of what they paid offline. The more consumer attitude was positive, the more consumers were willing to purchase internet insurance. In general, consumer attitude and purchase willingness of internet insurance vary with consumers' demographic and socio-economic characteristics.

비주얼 머천다이징 효과에 관한 연구: 복종에 따른 효과차이를 중심으로 (A Study on Visual Merchandising Effectiveness: Focused on the Differences in Effectiveness according to Merchandise Class)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the differences in persuasive effectiveness of visual merchandising according to merchandise class. For the experiment, 8 stimuli brands were selected. A total of 360 questionnaires were obtained from college students. The results were as follows. First, VM cognition were divided into 3 factors by confirmatory factor analysis: coordination, attractiveness, and function. Second, coordination and function had a positive effect on brand attitude. Third, brand attitude had a positive impact on brand loyalty. Fourth, it was revealed that merchandise class had a moderating role in the influence of VM cognition on brand attitude. This study has a meaning in that the theoretical extension of previous studies on VM was executed and demonstrated the moderating role of merchandise class when brand attitude was formed by VM cognition.

태도적 신체이미지, 성형태도에 따른 의복행동 (The Effects of Attitudinal Body Image and Plastic Surgery Attitude on Clothing Behaviors)

  • The study is to find out any significant relations in clothing behaviors according to attitudinal body image and plastic surgery attitude. The sampling method was a convenient sampling, and the subjects were 190 male and 160 female students in Daejeon. The survey was conducted from June 20 to July 15, 2008. The data were analyzed by the frequency analysis, Cronbach' ${\alpha}$, factor analysis, t-test and variance analysis. The subjects who pay much attention to weights and appearances have a positive attitude to plastic surgery. As they concern their body weights and appearance, they have high exhibition of clothing. Those who think their body as being attractive have been more interested in clothing and fashion. The subjects who have positive attitude for plastic surgery are more interested in clothing and fashion, showing higher conformity of clothing.
