Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the curriculum, educational facilities and employment guidance of the departments dental hygiene in junior colleges in different regions and the satisfaction level of students with their major in an effort to provide some information on the improvement of educational environments and satisfaction level with the major. Methods : The subjects in this study were 315 dental hygiene students in several junior colleges located in Seoul, Gangwon Province and South Jeolla Province. A survey was conducted during a 15-day period from April 15 to March 1, 2010. Results : As for educational environments and satisfaction level with the major, they gave 3.18, 2.95 and 3.11 respectively to satisfaction level with curriculum, facilities/employment guidance and the major. In terms of satisfaction with educational environments by academic year, the juniors and seniors expressed much satisfaction with the qualifications of professors, the preparation of labs and practice devices, the utilization of labs and practice devices and a supply of employment information. By region, the students from the metropolitan area were satisfied a lot with curriculum, the qualifications of professors, practice-centered curriculum, the preparation of labs and practice devices, the utilization of labs and practice devices, the system of employment guidance and a supply of employment information. By credit, the students tho got A expressed lots of satisfaction with the quality of instruction. Concerning satisfaction level with their major by academic year, the juniors and seniors were highly satisfied with relationship with dental hygiene professors and social status of dental hygienists. By school location, the students from the metropolitan area expressed a lot of satisfaction with the content of major courses and social status of dental hygienists. Conclusions : In order to boost the satisfaction level of students in non-metropolitan areas, colleges should try to improve educational environments, and full-fledged assistance should be provided to them.

After the change of curriculum in the Year 2000, Partial extensions and renovations were carried out for functional correspondence. Despite of the importance of contextual consideration for facade, Leaning to curriculum and function leads to visual problems between old existing and new building in many case of educational facilities. therefore Design Guidelines for the Facade of extension and renovation are needed. In this study, First, made a survey of the level of satisfaction and harmony of facade of extensions and renovations on elementary schools which have extended and renovated since the Year 2000. secondary, analyzed the interrelationship between the level of satisfaction and harmony and design elements of facade of extension and renovation and lastly, derived design guidelines from them. Results of this study are as follows; 1) The more latest building, the more high in the level of satisfaction and harmony 2) The sequences of the level of satisfaction in finishing materials are as follows : stone>brick>paint 3) When the proportion of existing to new building over a half, higher level of satisfaction appears on the whole. 4) How overcomes the gap of time is the matter in the facade design of extension and renovation.
In this study, we examined the satisfaction level of J university's compulsory liberal arts subject with quantitative research. The results quantitative research are as follows. First, men are more interested in creative thinking, college life guidance and career path design than girls. Second, the level of satisfaction with the required liberal arts subject by grade was found to be without a statistical significant difference. Third, the satisfaction level of each line of learning was shown in the order of natural engineering, health and welfare, physical fitness, and humanities. The satisfaction level of the lines of learning was found to vary. Fourth, The satisfaction level of each campus was found to vary. The results of this study could be used as basic data to improve the college liberal arts curriculum, especially the compulsory liberal arts curriculum. This study was conducted to utilize as the fundamental data for the improvement in curriculum, practicum programs and educational facilities of four-year universities with dental hygiene department which have increased rapidly by through analyzing the satisfaction level of dental hygiene students in four-year and three-year colleges with their departments. The findings of the study were as follows: 1. The satisfaction level with their department of dental hygiene students who were surveyed was 3.18 out of possible five points, which was on the average. 2. As for satisfaction level with the departments by educational system, the students who were in four-year colleges in the metropolitan area expressed lower satisfaction than the students who were in local and three-year colleges. The three-year college students were more gratified with the curriculums than the four-year college students(t=2.03, p<0.05), and the latter was more satisfied with the educational facilities(t=-4.12, p<0.001) and interpersonal relationships(t=-3.07, p<0.01) than the former. 3. In the case of the three-year college students, those whose colleges were located in the metropolitan area were more contented with the educational facilities(t=5.28, p<0.001), and there were no significant differences in satisfaction level with other factors. 4. In the case of the four-year college students, the local college students were more contented with the curriculums(t=-5.39, p<0.001), educational facilities(t=-5.18, p<0.001) and the departments(t=-3.98, p<0.001) than their counterparts in the colleges located in the metropolitan area. In terms of satisfaction level with the department of dental hygiene, the four-year college students located in the metropolitan area expressed noticeably lower satisfaction with the curriculums than the local and three-year college students. As a result, the development of each curriculum which is suitable for the four-year course is required, and so is the improvement in the educational facilities as well.
Capstone design is a creative and comprehensive educational program requiring practical adaptation skills for the industry. The purpose of this study was to analyze the results of design development, lectures and curriculum satisfaction for textile fashion products based on four years of capstone design curriculum from 2015 to 2018. The curriculum consists of 26 groups of 72 students and a total of 26 final results were obtained via industry-university cooperation. The materials for product design development included differentiated clothing, leisure goods, bags, dog goods, smart goods, interior goods and recycled products based on textiles. The degree of satisfaction with lectures involving the capstone design class was very high, with 4.2 out of 5.0 when the number of students was less than 10. However, when the number of students was 20 or higher and the number of students was large, the level of satisfaction was below 3.88. Therefore, the capstone design class comprising less than 10 students was better at individual teaching and teamwork. In terms of satisfaction with capstone design curriculum, the respondents indicated that the teaching method addressing the needs of industry and academia facilitated practical learning. It was very helpful in improving competency related to the design and development majors and future employment. The capstone design curriculum was effective in the training for practical design development and planning.

In this paper, we propose the way to solve the problems of current college of education at university that they are running a curriculum that is insufficient for immediate application to the school. So, we analyzed the application of capstone design which is proven to be effective in various fields, and constructed a curriculum for the development of educational materials to improve the teacher's qualification in the college of education and applied them to the preliminary informatics teachers. As a result, we confirmed that the development class of educational materials based on capstone design is positive for the change of awareness about informatics teacher's qualification, and also confirmed that the students' satisfaction level about class is higher. Based on the results, we discussed the effects of applying capstone design to the college of education. The conclusions are as follows: First, it helps students to improve the teacher's qualification. Second, it is a curriculum that can fill the shortage of student teaching. Third, the curriculum is an effective curriculum for the recognition of the student who is in charge of evaluation, and the teacher who is in charge of the evaluation. Fourth, Capstone design information textbook study class is a method of greatly improving class satisfaction compared to lecture class.
This study analyzed the performance of educational program for the employees of the work-learning dual system training center using the results of the satisfaction survey of 2,543 and then, suggested implications for enhancing the effectiveness of the curriculum. As a result of the analysis, this educational program showed very high level of satisfaction and was evaluated to provide successful education. Education participant satisfaction was found to be affected by the curriculum situation and participant characteristics. Satisfaction in terms of instructor, subject, facility environment, and operation was all found to have a significant influence on the effectiveness of the educational program for employees of the work-learning dual system training center.

As technology rapidly develops, the demand for manpower by new industries is increasing. In order to respond to the changing demands of the workforce, universities are actively introducing interdisciplinary majors, which is a program formed by two or more departments cooperating to develop new majors. Although the importance of the interdisciplinary major is increasing, universities have difficulties managing them due to non-flexible educational systems. The purpose of this study is to present an effective management direction for interdisciplinary majors based on the results of a survey on student satisfaction with interdisciplinary majors. Also, we analyzed the required level and possessed level of the IS practitioners' competencies, and developed specific educational directions for training IS talents. The results showed that there was a significant difference in satisfaction with the curriculum development and curriculum evaluation of existing subjects provided by existing departments and new subjects established of interdisciplinary majors, specifically the satisfaction of new subjects is higher than existing subjects. In the IS field, there was a high demand for education in the following areas, in order: information security, information technology strategy planning, information technology operation, information technology development, information technology management, information technology sales, and core competencies. Based on the results of the analysis, the satisfaction of students and the cultivation of the talents that the interdisciplinary major aims to develop can be improved.

A classroom is very crucial space for teaching and learning in school facility. In planning of these spaces, it is analyzed by investigating the present status and surveying the phenomena that students who are users psychologically feel about a classroom, the degree of a classroom's complying with the administration of the 7th curriculum, the contents of curriculum to sincerely approach the primary purpose of education and the results as below were obtained by integrating established cases of study. 1) The classroom of a course that is for exclusive use for administration of curriculum by the level and a class-based classroom is necessary for the administration of the 7th curriculum in the type of a classroom. 2) The scope of learning group for a class by the level is as below as a result of consideration of psychologically stable range of teachers and students who are faithful to curriculum. 3) The scale of classroom that is efficient in administration of curriculum and is psychologically stable is as below. As the result of this study, the capacity of a classroom in high school from now should be designed below 25 students for teachers to be faithful to the administration of curriculum and the classroom should be recognized as being not only for learning but also the space that students live in and in the space plan of a classroom from now, the psychological and mental satisfaction of teachers and students as well as physical satisfaction such as the scale of facility and the array of desks should be considered and the study in support of this is judged to be continued.

Purpose: This study is to analyze the curriculum satisfaction and to provide basic information for effective school management of Dept. of Health section. Methods: This survey, modified questionnaires based on Hee-Joo Moon's(2005), is accordance with undergraduate students and shows very high credibility upper than Cronbach's Alpha. 1,500 questionnaires are distributed(01. Oct. 2010~30. Oct. 2010) but only 1,213(80.8%) are returned and, except for 14 insincerely answered, 1,199(79.9%) are used. Results: The results of the study are following. The population characteristic of this survey is that 445(18.1%) are male, 739(61.9%) are female, 595(49.6%) are in health section, and 604(50.4%) are in none health section. 628(53%) chose getting jobs as their motivations for school choice and 727(60.8%) chose getting jobs and career guidance as theirs. The satisfaction of male students was higher than that of female students based on the comparative analysis of the curriculum satisfaction. The satisfaction of the students in none health section was higher than that of those in health section based on the comparative analysis of the curriculum satisfaction. This survey indicates that once the satisfaction with the major courses and career guidance increase, the overall satisfaction grows. Conclusion: The keys to improve the curriculum satisfaction including students' in department of dental technology are to provide and develop differentiated curriculums and support programs that meet students' expectations. In addition, the customized curriculums based on the level and aptitudes of female students are needed.
