  • Most real world system such as world economy, management, medical and engineering applications contain a series of complex phenomena. One of common methods to understand these system is to build a model and analyze the behavior of the system. As a first step, Determining the best clusters on data. As a second step, Determining the model of the cluster. In this paper, we investigated heuristic search methods for efficient clustering. It is also confirmed that the Bayesian Information Criterion more reliable than Cheeseman-Stutz ones.

  • Globalized cities are currently showing changes due to autonomous driving (AD). It is also maximizing globalization connections in cities where autonomous mobility is as complex as AD. The purpose of this study is to reveal that cities that realize AD and mobility will grow into globalized cities. Several cities, including New York and Shanghai, have attempted and are in progress, but failed cities are increasing. Although the technology of AD and the trust of citizens are prioritized, the city that has built the city's infrastructure is expected to be a city that has succeeded in AD. This is because commercialized cities or AVs will become hubs for mobility globalization, excluding rapid climate change or AV companies, and empirical analysis has been conducted that if AVs fail in metropolitan New York due to urban complexity (population density), urban economy size (GRDP), patents, number of consumers, infrastructure public EV chargers, and road quality. It examines whether the realization of AD by region and country affects overall national innovation. As a result, even if AV succeeds in large cities such as New York, Seoul, which has a higher population density (complexity), has a negative meaning, and a more similar Tokyo has a positive meaning. It can be seen that regional research on AV should also be prioritized in large cities such as Shanghai. This means that in order for AV to be realized in each city, the construction of AI infrastructure data must be actively changed to establish globalization of cities for economic growth as autonomous mobility.

  • Recently, road traffic congestion is becoming a serious urban phenomenon, leading to massive adverse impacts on the ecology and economy. Therefore, solving this problem has drawn public attention throughout the world. One new promising solution is to take full advantage of vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs). In this study, we propose a new traffic congestion detection and quantification method based on vehicle clustering and fuzzy assessment in VANET environment. To enhance real-time performance, this method collects traffic information by vehicle clustering. The average speed, road density, and average stop delay are selected as the characteristic parameters for traffic state identification. We use a comprehensive fuzzy assessment based on the three indicators to determine the road congestion condition. Simulation results show that the proposed method can precisely reflect the road condition and is more accurate and stable compared to existing algorithms.

  • Price rigidity involves prices that do not change with the regularity predicted by standard economic theory. It is of long-standing interest for firms, industries and the economy as a whole. However, due to the difficulty of measuring price rigidity and price adjustments directly, only a few studies have attempted to provide empirical evidence for explanatory theories from Economics and Marketing. This paper proposes and validates a research model to examine different theories of price rigidity and to predict what variables can explain the observed empirical regularities and variations in price adjustment patterns of Internet-based retailers. I specify and test a model using more than 3 million daily observations on 385 books, 118 DVDs and 154 CDs, sold by 22 Internet-based retailers that were collected over a 676-day period from March 2003 to February 2005. I obtained a number of interesting findings from the estimation of our logit model. First, quality seems to play a role-I find that both price levels as proxies for store quality, and information on the quality of a product consumers have, affect online price rigidity. Second, greater competition(i.e., less industry concentration) leads to less price rigidity(i.e., more price changes) on the Internet. I also find that Internet-based sellers more frequently change the prices of popular products, and the sellers with broader product coverage change prices less frequently, which seem due to economic forces faced by these Internet-based sellers. To the best of my knowledge, this research is the first to empirically assess price rigidity patterns for multiple industries in Internet-based retailing, and attempt to explain the variation in these patterns. I found that price changes are more likely to be driven by quality, competitive and economic considerations. These results speak to both the IS and economics literatures. To the IS literature these results suggest we take economic considerations into account in more sophisticated ways. The existence and variation in price rigidity argue that simplistic assumptions about frictionless and completely flexible digital prices do not capture the richness of pricing behavior on the Internet. The quality, competitive and economic forces identified in this model suggest promising directions for future theoretical and empirical work on their role in these technologically changing markets. To the economics literature these results offer new evidence on the sources of price rigidity, which can then be incorporated into the development of models of pricing at the firm, industry and even macro-economic level of analysis. It also suggests that there is much to be learned through interdisciplinary research between the IS, economics and related business disciplines.

  • In this paper, we propose a study on the purchasing intent of the new e-commerce consumer, the coronavirus may once again drive the structural change of China's economy, and the new online marketing model will be noticed during the epidemic. Through 438 questionnaires collected on the Internet, frequency analysis, element analysis, reliability analysis and structural equation analysis were performed using SPSS V22.0 and AMOS V22.0 methods. Study the validation of hypotheses in the model to reveal the reasons why consumers in the new e-business are exposed. The results show that e-commerce features of Internet celebrities and individual characteristics of Internet celebrities can only enhance consumers' satisfaction. Quasi social relationships only increase consumer satisfaction without generating the will to purchase directly. Consumer satisfaction is the core foundation that dominates long-term consumption. E-commerce should focus on the ability of online celebrities to sell their expertise and the adaptability of value and product characteristics when conducting online celebrity marketing.

  • Purpose - Internet-based e-commerce is rapidly developing and applied, and e-commerce through Internet technology overcomes the time and space constraints of existing business exchanges and facilitates multinational transactions. At the same time, disputes over e-commerce are increasing. In order to solve these disputes, clear laws should be regulated and regulated. Design/methodology/approach - This paper first studies the development and trend of E-commerce, then studies the legal provisions of CISG, and then combines them to analyze and draw a conclusion. Findings - Since its enactment in 1980, the CISG has been one of the most influential international commercial laws to date, with 95 States parties. It is a very important international agreement and norm that helps maintain and facilitate the settlement of international trade disputes and coordination of international merchandise sales activities. However, CISG, which is most widely used in traditional trade, faces many challenges due to the nature of E-commerce, but after studying the development and trend of E-commerce and the legal provisions of E-commerce, we conclude that CISG can be applied to E-commerce. Research implications or Originality - All the international conventions are the fruit of the efforts of the people, CISG, as one of the most important unitary laws of international trade, can be said to be representative. The analysis of CISG's legal provisions should be combined with the current international e-commerce trade form, so that CISG can be reasonably applied to modern trade disputes.

  • With the rise and rapid development of the "Internet+" economic model, the internet is deeply integrated with the social economy and penetrates every corner of life. Compared with expanding the scale of business operations through internal investment and capital accumulation, e-commerce companies are more inclined to directly gain control of other companies through efficient merger and acquisition (M&A). The purpose of this study is to analyze changes in financial performance before and after M&A of Alibaba, China's largest e-commerce company in the Internet era. To present the impact of M&A events on Alibaba's stock price and shareholder wealth more intuitively, this study selected the market model in the event study method to measure abnormal returns. The results show that an M&A event led to a reduction in Alibaba's shareholder wealth in the short term. This study presents the theoretical basis for the M&A performance of e-commerce companies.

  • Wi-Fi enabled Internet of Things (IoTs) had a substantial impact on society, economy and industry. However wireless connectivity technologies in unlicensed band such as Wi-Fi are vulnerable to interferences. They also face difficulty providing wireless connectivity over long range in dense networks due to the dynamically changed interference effect and asymmetric interference conditions. In this paper, robust acknowledgement transmission scheme is proposed for long range IoTs. According to the proposed scheme, it is possible to control the transmission rate of the transmission success rate of the response frame by adjusting the transmission rate of the response frame when the interference is present asymmetrically. It is also possible to use higher data rate when high quality link is guaranteed. The evaluation results demonstrated the proposed scheme improves the aggregate throughput by at most 9 Mbps when 20 MHz bandwidth transmission mode was adopted.
