A 10-week feeding trial was conducted to investigate the effects of feeding rate on growth and body composition of adult flounder during the summer season. Three replicated groups of the fish (initial mean weight of $535{\pm}4.1\;g$) were hand-fed a extruded diet twice a day at the different feeding rates of satiation (100%), 90%, 80% and 70% of satiation for 10 weeks. Mean Water temperature was $19.2{\pm}2.8^{\circ}C$ during the feeding trial. Weight gain and condition factor increased significantly with increase in daily feeding rate (P<0.05), but there was no significant difference in weight gain of fish fed the diet between 100% and 90% of satiation. Survival and feed efficiency were not significantly different among all groups. Proximate composition of dorsal muscle was not significantly affected by feeding rate. Based on the results of this study, optimum feeding rate for growth and condition factor of adult flounder (535-928 g) seemed to be 90% of satiation.
The spontaneous color mutant, albino individuals of genus Misgurnus, are rarely discovered in Korea and there are difficult to identify morphological species due to lack melanin pigmentation. In this study, we developed a genetic identification method for the species of albino Misgurnus individuals based on phylogenetic analysis by using recombination activating gene 1 (rag1) and cytochrome b (cytb) region of mitochondrial DNA. As a result of molecular phylogenetic analysis, three clades were identified as Misgurnus mizolepis, M. anguillicaudatus and M. mohoity. The homology of the cytb sequences of M. mohoity was best match to that of M. mohoity sequences in GenBank database. As a result of species identification of 25 albino Misgurnus individuals based on the phylogenetic tree, the red-eye type was identified as 16 M. anguillicaudatus and one M. mizolepis. The remaining three individuals were identified as one M. mizolepis ♀${\times}$M. anguillicaudatus ♂, and two M. mohoity ♀${\times}$M. anguillicaudatus ♂, respectively. In addition, the five black-eye type individuals were identified as one M. anguillicaudatus, three M. mizolepis and one M. mohoity. Therefore, this genetic identification method will be an useful techniques for species or hybrid identification in genus Misgurnus.
Jin-Sang is a local specialty donation to the palace. A local specialty donation to the palace is classified Jehyang, Bangmul, Mulseon, Medicine according to characteristic, when, use. Among these, Mulseon Jin-Sang is Most foods. And King was reduced Mulseon Jin-Sang in order to obtain a good image of the king. King Suk-Jong was frequently reduced Mulseon. But frequently changes of goods did not reflect to document. So type of goods, quantity is not clear in early 18th century. In 1728, King Yeong-Jo was published a Jingsangbyeldandngrok to clear type of goods, quantity. This book is written area, timing, quantity of Mulseon. Among these, type of goods, quantity are important. This book was written 176 kinds of goods. These goods was most of the fishery. And raw materials are largely accounted. In addition to processing the various creatures become like dried, pickled. By analyzing the regional allocation features, there are many types order by Gyeongsang-do, Hamgyeong-do. Gangwon-do. This area is faced east sea, so many fisheries have become records. In Gyeongsang-do, Cholla-do, these area were occupied a large portion of the fruit. And Jeju Island was assigned oranges. Finally, it has been assigned dried, pickled foods than living thing in distant area.

A diagnostic test for viral hemorrhagic septicemia virus (VHSV), which infects more than 80 species of freshwater and marine fish at home and abroad, causing mass mortality, was conducted to provide quantitative data on the amount of virus expression in various tissues of flounder in chronological order. The tissues were collected in chronological order after the intraperitoneal injection of 3.0E+07 tissue culture infective dose50 (TCID50) per 0.1mL per fish of VHSV to randomly selected flounder. As a result of relative quantification through real-time PCR, the highest levels of virus expression were found in the spleen, kidney, gill, and liver on day 5. This study proved that the spleen was an appropriate site for the final diagnosis of VHSV in the early stages of infection and will provide important information for the diagnosis of legal infectious diseases in Korea.

Two 15-week feeding trials were conducted to investigate feeding rate and feeding frequency for growth of sub-adult flounder in suboptimal water temperature ($12^{\circ}C$). In the first experiment, duplicated groups of fish (initial mean weight of 279 g) were fed a extruded pellet once a day at the different feeding rates of 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, 0.3% body weight per day (BW/d), and satiation (0.32% BW/d). Weight gain and feed efficiency were increased significantly (P<0.05) with increase in feeding rates from 0.1 to 0.3% BW/d, but there were no significant differences in weight gain and feed efficiency of fish fed the diet between 0.3% BW/d and to satiation. Crude protein content of dorsal muscle of fish fed the 0.1% BW/d diet was significantly (P<0.05) lower than that of the other groups. In the second experiment, duplicated groups of fish (initial mean weight of 281 g) were fed to apparent satiation with a extruded pellet at three different feeding frequencies (one meal every two days, one meal a day and two meals a day). Weight gain, feed efficiency and condition factor of fish fed one meal every two days were significantly (P<0.05) lower than those of fish fed one meal and two meals a day, but there were no significant differences in weight gain, feed efficiency and condition factor of fish fed between one meal and two meals a day. Based on the results of this study, optimum feeding frequency is one meal a day with satiation feeding for growth and feed efficiency of sub-adult flounder (270-350 g) in suboptimal water temperature ($12^{\circ}C$).

This study was performed to obtain the basic data on physiological responses of low water temperature stress of the cultured Pacific abalone, Haliotis discus hannai. Abalones were exposed at low water temperatures of $7^{\circ}C$ and $4^{\circ}C$. We have investigated survival rate, superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and total protein (TP) in the abalone by the exposure times (0, 3, 6, 12, 24, 72, 120, 168 and 216 hours). Survival rate of the abalone at $7^{\circ}C$ experiment was 90.8%, whereas at $4^{\circ}C$ experiment was 0% after exposure 10 days. SOD activity was significantly increased until 12 hours after exposure to $4^{\circ}C$, and then was recovered to starting level after 24 hours. However, there was no significant difference between control ($12^{\circ}C$) and $7^{\circ}C$ experiments. TP was significantly increased until 216 hours after 24 hours at $4^{\circ}C$ experiment, but $7^{\circ}C$ experiment showed no significant differences compared to control ($12^{\circ}C$) experiment. Therefore, H. discus hannai was acclimated in low water temperature stress at $7^{\circ}C$, but at $4^{\circ}C$, all abalone died possibly because they exceed the limits of defense ability to too low temperature.

Crucian carp, Carassius carassius (Weight 39.7±3.1 g, Length 14.8±0.5 cm) were exposed to waterborne nickel at 0, 10, 20, 40, 80 and 160 mg Ni2+/l. The lethal concentration 50 (LC50) of C. carassius exposed to waterborne nickel was 117.69 mg Ni2+/l. In hematological parameters, RBC counts was significantly increased at 48 hours, whereas a significant decrease was observed at 96 hours. The MCV and MCH were significantly increased in the concentration of 80 mg Ni2+/l at 96 hours. The plasma components such as calcium, magnesium, glucose, cholesterol, total protein, AST, ALT and ALP were significantly changed by waterbonre nickel exposure. The results of this study suggest that the nickel exposure to C. carassius affects the survival rates, hematological parameters and plasma components as toxicity

Crucian carp, Carassius carassius (Weight 28.1±3.7 g, Length 10.0±1.0 cm) were challenged with Aeromonas hydrophila at 0, 2.0×104, 2.0×105, 2.0×106, 2.0×107 CFU/ml for 2 weeks. The lethal concentration 50 (LC50) at 2 weeks of C. carassius challenged with A. hydrophila was 19.776×105 CFU/ml. In hematological parameters, the hemoglobin and RBC counts were significantly decreased by A. hydrophila challenge, whereas there was no significant change in hematocrit. The inorganic plasma components such as magnesium and calcium were significantly decreased. In organic plasma components, glucose and cholesterol were significantly increased by A. hydrophila challenge, whereas total protein was significantly decreased. In enzymatic plasma components, ALP (Alkaline phosphatase) were significantly increased by A. hydrophila challenge. The results of this study suggest that the A. hydrophila challenge to C. carassius induced the significant physiological changes in the hematological parameters and plasma components as deadly pathogenic bacteria.

In current stage, it is hard to predict the scale of damage caused by natural disaster and it is hard to deal with it. However, in case of disaster planning level, if it is possible to predict the scale of disaster then quick reaction can be done which will reduce the damage. In the present study, therefore, function of wind wave damage estimation among various disaster is developed. Damage of wind wave and typhoon in eastern and Jeju coastal zone was collected from disaster report (1991~2014) published by Ministry of Public Safety and Security and to reflect inflation rate, 2014 damage cost was converted. Also, wave height, wind speed, wave direction, wave period, etc was collected from Meteorological Administration and Korea Hydrographic and Oceanographic Administration web site. To reflect the characteristic of coastal zone when wave damage occurs, CODI(Coastal Disaster Index), COSI(Coastal Sensitivity Index), CPII(Coastal Potential Impact Index) published by Korea Hydrographic and Oceanographic Agency in 2015 were used. When damage occurs, function predicting wind wave damage was developed through weather condition, regional characteristic index and correlation of damage cost.
