Benefits of breast-feeding are so well known that mothers want to breast-feed their children. However there are a few difficulties to breast-feed when they are out for the purpose of work, visit and other social activities. The exposure of the breast is one of them. With the results of 2 surveys, 6 designs were developed. The extinguishing design features were breast openings, which were developed using various fastenings such as elastic tape, buckle, zipper, velcro, snap and button. Three outer wear designs of selected breast openings were developed. These three researched designs were made of proper materials. The purpose of this study is to develop outer wears of functionality and good design for breast-feeding mothers.

This paper presents a ZigBee wireless communication system for remote diagnosis in overhead distribution power lines. The system is divided in three parts in the functional aspect - a host computer module, a remote controller module and a diagnostic system module. The host computer module designed as USB interface transmits control signals and receive data measured by sensor. The remote controller module operates the diagnostic system. Diagnostic system module communicates with internal main controller and host computer USB. Multiple communication channel is adopted for simultaneous operations of several diagnostic system. Dedicated protocol for each module is developed. The system is designed with a focus on low cost and small size suitable for lightweight and small diagnostic system.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the preferred clothing images and clothing behaviors on personality types. Personality types were applied using Myers-Briggs Type Indicator(MBTI). Clothing image preferences were measured using 28 adjectives of 5-point scales. The data were collected from 101 female using questionnaire to prefer on clothing images, consumer information sources and retail store types. The data analysed with crosstab analysis, t-test, MDS. Extroversion and Introversion had significant difference in casual, sporty, fresh, youthful, western, and simple more than introversion types. Sensing and intuition had significant difference in feminine and strong image. Sensing types were significantly evaluated feminine style more than intuition types. Thinking types were significantly evaluated simple image more than feeling types. Judging and perceiving had significant difference in graceful, lofty, and strong image. Judging types were significantly evaluated graceful and lofty style more than perceiving types.

From the document we are able to know the structure of the curriculum, compulsory subjects, and minimum mathematical contents for training mathematics teachers at universities.

In the linear regression model $y_{i}$ = .alpha. $x_{i}$ $^{T}$ .beta. + .epsilon.$_{i}$ , i = 1,2,...,n, the weighted pairwise absolute deviation (WPAD) estimator was defined by minimizing the dispersion function D (.beta.) = .sum..sum.$_{{i $w_{{ij}}$$\mid$ $r_{j}$ (.beta.) $r_{i}$ (.beta.)$\mid$, where $r_{i}$ (.beta.)'s are residuals and $w_{{ij}}$'s are weights. This estimator can achive bounded total influence with positive breakdown by choice of weights $w_{{ij}}$. In this paper, we consider a more general type of dispersion function than that of D(.beta.) and propose a pairwise GM-estimator based on the dispersion function. Under some regularity conditions, the proposed estimator has a bounded influence function, a high breakdown point, and asymptotically a normal distribution. Results of a small-sample Monte Carlo study are also presented. presented.

Entomogenous fungi which attack living insects are powerful means for microbiological insecticide. The purpose of this study is to establish the culture conditions and media for mass production of Beauveria sp. C208 which has a broad host range as a potential microbiological pesticide. The temperature and pH range for optimal cultivation of this strain were 28$circ$C and pH 5.0-7.0. For Beauveria sp. C 208, 2% rice straw and 0.6% tryptone were found as the proper carbon and nitrogen sources, considering cell mass, enzyme activities such as chitinase, protease and lipase, and spore concentration.

We introduce and analyze a frequency-domain method for parabolic partial differential equations. The method is naturally parallelizable. After taking the Fourier transformation of given equations in the space-time domain into the space-frequency domain, we propose to solve an indefinite, complex elliptic problem for each frequency. Fourier inversion will then recover the solution in the space-time domain. Existence and uniqueness as well as error estimates are given. Fourier invertibility is also examined. Numerical experiments are presented.

This study was carried out to investigate the effects of T-P concentrations in irrigation water on the growth, yield, and grain quality of rice. It acquire fundamental knowledges to set up irrigation water quality standards. The pot experiment was conducted with 5 treatments using irrigation waters. It consisted of various total phosphorus concentrations(control, 1, 2, 5, 10mg/L) and replicated four times with randomized block design. The results of this study showed that as T-P concentrations in irrigation water increases, plant height tended to increase. Dry weight of rice plant at T-P 10mg/L was significantly higher than the control. However, T-P in irrigation water did not affect plant height, tiller number, plant dry weight, yield, and quality of rice.

The electromagnetic scattering characteristics by a periodic strip grating on a grounded dielectric slab for TE polarization case is examined from the viewpoints of both the reflection grating and the leaky wave antenna problems. Numerical results for two kinds of Bragg blazing (resonance type and non-resonance type) phenomena are given and some discussions on the properties such as complex propagation constants, scattering characteristics, and distributions of strip current density are presented.

Numerical analysis and its inverse design process of 2nd stage of JT8D aircraft engine is described. One of the most important factors that affect the performante of turbomachine is secondary flow in the blade passage, so that the performance of turbomachine can be improved by controlling secondary flow. In this paper, as a method to control secondary flow, commercial inverse design program, TurboDesign is used. Meridional derivative of angular momentum is selected as a parameter to control blade leading in this program, To validate inverse designed model, computational analysis is applied which includes rotor-stator-interaction. In this paper, CFB results of both original and inverse designed model are compared to examine how much the performance improves without reduction of work output.
