차량 시트의 BSR Noise에 대한 시험적 고찰 및 개선 (An Experimental Approach and Improvement of Buzz, Squeak and Rattle Noise from a Seat)

  • Today, the interior noise perceived by the occupants is an important factor in the design of automotive interior assemblies. Buzz, Squeak and Rattle Noises in a Seats are one of the major concerns mentioned above. In this study, the terms 'Buzz, squeak and rattle' were defined as the noise originating from structural vibrations in an assembly. And, the BSR noise of vehicle seat was investigated and the improvement of BSR noise level was confirmed though the structural treatment based on the structural analysis results from the modal and sound intensity of seat.

  • An on-line diagnostic test has been studied and performed for the pumped storage generator/motor. This study aims at reducing the diagnostic cost, minimizing the technical dependency on third party manufactures. Further design of on-line diagnostic system such as shorted-turn of rotor winding, partial discharge (PD) of stator winding and air-gap between stator and rotor for pumped storage generator/motor has been verified. In addition, it needs to be validated on site performance of the developed continuous on-line monitoring system for corresponding tasks for the improvement of the availability & reliability during operation.

  • COMS has two imaging payloads, MI (Meteorological Imager) and GOCI (Geostationary Ocean Colour Imager). In GOCI case, data are packaged per each slot - one part of 16 two-dimensional arrays for imaging sensors - so its generation algorithm is simple. But MI case, data are made up with sequences of 480 bit blocks and are transmitted to its ground station sequentially. Moreover there is no time information in each 480 bit MI block, so a system in its ground system should be attaching time information at received MI blocks. DM (Decomposition Module) is one module of IMPS that receives Raw Data from DATS and generates Level 0 Products that include time tagging. This paper explains DM design for MI of COMS payloads.

  • 본 논문에서는 역강성법을 비좌굴 가새골조시스템의 내진설계에 적용하여 목표 변위를 만족시키는 비좌굴 가새의 단면적을 산정하였으며, 기존 연구와 비교하여 타당성을 검토하였다. 본 설계 방법은 개념이 직관적이고 적용이 간편하며, 고차모드 고려가 가능하고 각 층의 연성도를 개별적으로 조절할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 각 모델에 본 설계법을 적용한 결과, 전반적으로 목표변위 증가에 따라 가새 단면적이 감소하지만 층수와 연성도의 증가에 따라 일부층에서 오히려 가새 단면적이 증가하는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 항복 후 강성비의 변화가 단면적에 끼치는 영향은 가새의 항복 후 강성비가 작은 경우 더 민감한 차이를 보이는 것으로 나타났다.

  • The design concept of a bending magnet to be installed in the KSTAR NBI system is presented. It is the function of a bending magnet that removes unconverted ions from the main beam stream and produces an 8 MW, 120 keV deuterium neutral beam. In order to determine the proper size and shape of the bending magnet, a parametric study on the B-field pattern was carried out by changing the dimensions of the pole face model. In addition, the detailed trajectories of the dominant ion species produced in the beam line were calculated. The electrical and cooling parameters of the coil assembly were also estimated.

  • This research analyzes clean room major fire prevention standard of clean Room(FM, IRI, and NFPA Code), the structure of Performance-Based Fire Safety Design(PBD) applied the korean fire industry situation. Performance-Based Fire Safety can operate effectively the performance of fire protection equipment & building design, so the fitness of fire safety system can be embodied by operating this. moreover, cost to be consume fire safety of real building can reduce and Performance-Based Fire Safety is considered to important technique in fire protection field. A fire in a clean room may cause a serious loss by spreading smoke particles. We will be investigated by using a computational fluid dynamics, for loss prevention by smoke spreading from one fire area to another for clean room and compared the Performance-Based Fire Safety Design with the prescriptive code design. The methodology of fire safety performance-based fire safety design and guarantee of many kinds design skill of fire system and developing design procedure will be very serious one in order to improve efficiency of domestic system. Therefore, This research will be contributing to secure safety of clean room and to set up the performance-based fire safety design in Korea by regulation for the performance-based fire safety design effectively.

표본점 설계방법과 적용 단목재적식 변경에 따른 임목축적 차이의 구명 (Analysis of Difference in Growing Stock Volume Estimates by the Changes of Cluster Plot Design and Volume Equation)

  • 본 연구는 2006년부터 시작된 국가산림자원조사부터 표본점 설계방법과 적용 단목재적식을 변경하여 적용함으로써 과거와는 다른 임목축적 추정치의 경향을 보이고 있어 그 원인을 구명하기 위해 수행하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 20개 집락의 80개 표본점을 대상으로 제4차 및 제5차 국가산림자원조사의 표본점 설계방법에 따라 자료를 수집한 후, 현재 사용하고 있는 수종별 단목재적식과 과거에 사용하였던 단목재적식을 적용하여 임목축적을 추정한 후 표본점 설계 방법 및 적용 단목재적식의 변경에 따른 임목축적 추정치의 차이가 있는지를 평가하였다. 임목축적 차이의 원인을 구명하기 위해 t-검정을 실시한 결과 표본점 설계방법의 변경에 따른 임목축적의 차이는 인정되지 않았으며, 사용된 단목재적식의 변경에 의해서 통계적으로 인정할 수 있는 임목축적의 차이가 발생하는 것으로 분석되었다. 결과적으로 제5차 국가산림자원조사를 통해 얻어지는 임목축적은 적용 단목재적식의 변경에 의해 차이가 발생하기 때문에, 국제기구에 보고하기 위해서는 재계산을 통해 2006년 이전의 임목축적 추정치의 보정이 필요할 것으로 평가되었다.

  • Recently, cryogenic butterfly valves for LNG carriers are actively developed by ship equipment companies. The dual core structure unlike usual butterfly valve has both translation and gyration motions of the disk of the valve assembly. Especially, the ship equipment companies can not have overcome 2D design method; in addition, even though 2 years of development has passed, the drawing cannot be secured. In this research, for the cryogenic butterfly valves and the product design, 3D design method was introduced and DMU(Digital Mockup) was applied to complement the problems in 2D design and investigate application possibility of 3D design method.

Design and Performance Verification of Compound CVTs with 2K-H I type Differential Gear

  • This paper defined design constraints for the compound CVTs (continuously variable trans-missions) by combining power-circulation-mode CVTs and power-split-mode CVTs, which were proposed for connecting 2K-H I-type differential gear to V-belt-type CVU (Continuously Variable Unit). The design constraints are the necessary and sufficient conditions to avoid geometrical interferences among elements in the compound CVTs, and to guarantee smooth assembly between the power-circulation-mode CVT and power-split-mode CVT Two com-pound CVTs were designed and manufactured in accordance with the design constraints. With these compound CVTs, theoretical analysis and performance experiments were conducted. The results showed that the design constraints were valid and effective design method, and that the designed compound CVTs had the improved performance.

국부가압 다이캐스팅 공정에서 3차원 유동 및 응고해석을 통한 자동차 변속기 Gear Housing의 주조방안 설계 최적화 (Optimization of Casting Design for Automobile Transmission Gear Housing by 3D Filling and Solidification Simulation in Local Squeeze Diecasting Process)

  • In the partial squeeze casting process, the filling behavior of liquid metal and solidification pattern in thick area have significant influence on the quality of casting products and die life. For the optimal casting design of automobile transmission gear housing, various analyses were performed in this study by using computer simulation code, MAGMAsoft and the simulation results were compared and analyzed with experimental results. By air pressure criteria, internal porosities caused by air entrap during the mold filling were predicted and reduced remarkably by modification of gating system. Also, optimal squeeze-time lag to apply partial squeeze pin in thick area was calculated and the castings was free from shrinkage defects with the result of solidification analysis. Consequently, casting design for automobile transmission gear housing was optimized and approved by Computer Tomography.
