  • The silk fibre Produced by the larvae of the lepidopter of the Bombyx mori species is no doubt one of the most precious raw materials employed in manufacturing textile products. The present report, however, deals with silk not as a traditional textile fibre, but as a starting material fer biomedical applications. In recent years, the unique chemical and mechanical properties of silk have made this protein polymer highly attractive for innovative applications, which mainly focus on the development of devices for biomedical uses. 환경친화집단과 비환경친화집단의 친환경 의류제품에 대한 소비자 특성연구 - 대전지역 대학생을 중심으로 - (Customer Characteristics about Eco-Friendly Apparel Products between 'Environmentally Friendly Group' and 'Non-environmentally Friendly Group' - A Survey of College Students in Daejeon -)

  • This study promotes education, purchase, and advertisement activities related to eco-friendly apparel products. The study examined college students and their demographic characteristics, their recognition of and interest in, knowledge, purchase, and attitude towards advertisements related to eco-friendly apparel products. In this study, 337 students from various universities in Daejeon participated in a questionnaire survey from March 7 to March 25, 2011. The collected materials were analyzed by frequency analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, cross tabulations analysis, and t-test using SPSS 18.0 software. The results of these tests revealed that more students from the upper grades belonged to the Environmentally Friendly Group compared to those in the Non-environmentally Friendly Group. It was also found that students in the Environmentally Friendly Group had a higher level of consciousness and expressed a greater interest in eco-friendly apparel products as well as towards the launch of educational programs. Additionally, this group was more supportive of the need for new courses and had a higher likelihood to enroll in these courses. The research results revealed that (compared to the Non-environmentally Friendly Group) the Environmentally Friendly Group exhibited a greater satisfaction with the designs of eco-friendly apparel products and had more experience to examine advertisements about eco-friendly apparel products; in addition, they expressed a higher likability and reliability to these advertisements. The results also showed that the Environmentally Friendly Group believed that advertisements had persuasive power and were quite impressive in recalling the advertisements.

버추얼 인플루언서의 특성이 패션제품 구매의도에 미치는 영향: 모방욕구의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Impact of Virtual Influencers' Characteristics on Purchase Intentions Toward Fashion Products: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Mimetic Desire)

  • Virtual influencers, who are emerging as new players in digital marketing, impact consumers' purchase intentions. They promote positive perceptions and mimetic consumption of specific brands or products through interactions with followers. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of the characteristics of virtual influencers on the purchase intention for fashion products through the consumers' mimetic desire. As characteristics of virtual influencers, five factors were set: reality, attractiveness, professionalism, trustworthiness, and curiosity. Data for analysis were collected through an online questionnaire from the 8th to the 15th of August 2023, and 268 data points in total were analyzed using SPSS and Process Macro 4.3. The results of the study showed that the characteristics of virtual influencers all positively affected mimetic desire and purchase intention for fashion products. Moreover, it was found that mimetic desire has a mediating effect between the five characteristics of virtual influencers and the purchase intention for fashion products. Mimetic desire fully mediates the relationship between reality and the intention to purchase fashion products, and partially mediates the relationship between attractiveness, professionalism, trustworthiness, and curiosity and the purchase intention for fashion products. These findings further enhance the understanding of the relationship between virtual influencers and consumer behavior and identify the relationship between virtual influencers, mimetic desire, and fashion product purchase intentions. Consequently, leveraging virtual influencers strategically in digital marketing, the fashion industry can amplify positive brand perceptions, drive consumer engagement, and ultimately foster increased purchase intent.

  • Up to now, various continuous-processing systems are used in the various industrial applications such as textile machines, iron-manufacturing plants, paper-making machines, printing machines, and so on. 헤어 디자이너들의 헤어컬러 및 헤어컬러 제품 선호도 조사 (The Research on the Hair Color and Products Preference for Hair Designers)

  • The hair designers are fashion leaders who affect hair color of people. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to give some tips to satisfy customers through surveying hair designers most like color and the criteria of products choice. To have practical result, I use survey method. I took 120 hair designers who work for Park Jun beauty salon for the survey data. Among these data, I used 103 for the final data of analysis. The results are following, male hair designers like natural brown and blue coral color for hair coating. In addition, they like black color for coloring. Female hair designers like much more various color, they like orange color for coating and natural brown for coloring. Hair designers much more satisfied for international brand goods in all criteria except price. All of hair designers have favorite goods for the quality and brand image. Therefore domestic brands need much more effort to improve quality and its brand image.

기능성 골프웨어의 소비자 이용실태 (The Actual Conditions of Consumers' Usage of Functional Golfwear)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the actual conditions of consumers' usage of functional golfwear which is widely used in the current sportswear market. The study was carried out on 225 golfers in Busan and KyungNam area based on the demographics such as gender, age, occupation, and income. The collected data was processed with SPSS 14.0 program using frequency analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, and ANOVA. In the results of the analysis, golfers did not show high reliability and satisfaction on the functional golfwear. In the results of the most function-required golfwear items, there were shirts, pants, footwear, gloves, windbreaker, innerwear etc. in order. Most of golfers answered that the function of golfwear was required for pleasant and comfort golf activity. Therefore, it is necessary for golfwear makers to develop consumer-oriented golfwear products which are reliable and satisfiable to golf consumers.
