  • Analyzing the frequency and correlation of the news keywords in the modern society that are becoming complicated according to the time flow is a very important research to discuss the response and solution to issues. This paper analyzed the relationship between the flow of social keyword and major issues through the analysis of news big data for 10 years (2009~2018). In this study, political issues, education and social culture, gender conflicts and social problems were presented as major issues. And, to study the change and flow of issues, it analyzed the change of the issue by dividing it into five years. Through this, the changes and countermeasures of social issues were studied. As a result, the keywords (economy, police) that are closely related to the people's life were analyzed as keywords that are very important in our society regardless of the flow of time. In addition, keyword such as 'safety' have decreased in increasing rate compared to frequency in recent years. Through this, it can be inferred that it is necessary to improve the awareness of safety in our society.

  • Big data analysis is the ability to collect, store, manage and analyze data from existing database management tools. Big data refers to large scale data that is generated in a digital environment, is large in size, has a short generation cycle, and includes not only numeric data but also text and image data. Big data is data that is difficult to manage and analyze in the conventional way. It has huge size, various types, fast generation and velocity. Therefore, companies in most industries are making efforts to create value through the application of Big data. In this study, we analyzed the meaning of keyword using Social Matrix, a big data analysis tool of Daum communications. Also, the theoretical implications are presented based on the analysis results.

  • The process of obtaining scientific knowledge is conducted through research. Researchers deal with the uncertainty of science and establish certainty of scientific knowledge. In other words, in order to obtain scientific knowledge, uncertainty is an essential step that must be performed. The existing studies were predominantly performed through a hedging study of linguistic approaches and constructed corpus with uncertainty word manually in computational linguistics. They have only been able to identify characteristics of uncertainty in a particular research field based on the simple frequency. Therefore, in this study, we examine pattern of scientific knowledge based on uncertainty word according to the passage of time in biomedical literature where biomedical claims in sentences play an important role. For this purpose, biomedical propositions are analyzed based on semantic predications provided by UMLS and DMR topic modeling which is useful method to identify patterns in disciplines is applied to understand the trend of entity based topic with uncertainty. As time goes by, the development of research has been confirmed that uncertainty in scientific knowledge is moving toward a decreasing pattern.

  • Korea is promoting a digital new deal policy for the digital transformation and innovation accelerating of the industry. However, because of the strict existing data-related laws, there are still restrictions on the industry's use of data for the digital new deal policy. In order to solve this issue, a revised bill of the Data 3 Act has been proposed, but there is still insufficient discussion on how it will actually affect the activation of data use in the industry. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the perception of public opinion on the Data 3 Act and the implications of the revision of the Data 3 Act. To this end, the revision of the Data 3 Act and related research trends were analyzed, and the perception of the Data 3 Act was analyzed using a big data analysis technique. According to the analysis results, while promoting the vitalization of the data industry in line with the purpose of the revision, the Data 3 Act has a concern that it focuses on specific industries. The results of this study are meaningful in providing implications for future improvement plans by analyzing online perceptions of the industrial impact of the Data 3 Act in the early stages of implementation through big data analysis.

  • It is not an easy task for a user to find the correct documents that a user really wanted at once from a vast amount of the search results. For this reason, various methods of recommending documents by taking the user's preferences into consideration based on the user's document browsing history have been proposed. However, the document recommendation methodology based on the document browsing history also has a limitation that only the information the user has viewed is utilized, but the intent of the user searching for the document is not fully utilized. Therefore, we propose a document recommendation method based on the user's search intent that utilizes information on "Why" the user reads the document, instead of the information on "Who" reads the document. In order to confirm the feasibility of the proposed methodology, an experiment was conducted by analyzing 239,438 actual user's search history of one of the most popular e-commerce platform companies in Korea. As a result, our methodology showed superior performance compared to the existing content-based or simple browsing history-based recommendation model.

  • Big data analytics are indispensable today in various industries and public sectors. Therefore, in this study, we will utilize big data analysis to search for improvement plans for domestic tourism services using the LDA analysis method. In particular, we have tried an exploratory approach that can improve tourist satisfaction, which can improve revisit and service, especially in Seoul, which has the largest number of foreign tourists. In this study, we collected and analyzed statistical data of Seoul City and Korea Tourism Organization and Internet information such as SNS via R. And we utilized text mining methods including LDA. As a result of the analysis, one of the purposes of visiting South Korea by foreigners was gastronomic tourism. We will try to derive measures to improve the quality of services centered on gastronomic tourism.

  • The convergence trend is the core of the 4th industrial revolution, and due to such expectations and possibilities, various countermeasures are being sought in diverse fields. This study conducted a quantitative analysis to identify the trend of convergence research over the past 10 years. Specifically, major research keywords were extracted, word cloud techniques were applied, and visualized to identify trends in academic research on convergence. To this end, research papers from 2012 to 2020 published in journal of digital convergence were investigated. The analysis period was divided into two periods: the former 4 years(2012-2015) and the latter 4 years(2016-2019) to confirm the difference in research trends. In addition, the research papers of 2020 were analyzed in order to more clearly understand the changes in the research trend of the last year due to the COVID-19. The results of this study are significant in that they can be used as useful basic data for future research and to understand research trends as keywords in the field of convergence.

  • In the era of untact, the "Chabak" using cars as accommodation spaces is attracting attention as a new form of travel. Due to the advantages, including low costs, convenience, and safety, as well as the characteristics of the vehicle enabling independent travel, the demand for Chabak is continuously increasing. Despite the rapid growth of the market and related industries, little academic has investigated this trend. To establish itself as a new type of travel culture and to sustain the growth of related industries, it is essential to understand the public perception of Chabak. Therefore, based on the marketing mix theory and big data analysis, this study analyzes the public perception of Chabak. The results showed that Chabak has established itself as a consumer-led travel culture, contributing to the aftermarket growth of the automobile industry. Additionally, consumers were found to be increasingly inclined to enjoy travel economically and wisely, and actively share information through social media. This initial study on the new travel trend of Chabak is significant in that it employs big data analysis on a theoretical basis.

  • As time goes by, the amount of data is increasing regardless of government, business, domestic or overseas. Accordingly, research on big data is increasing in academia. Statistics is one of the major disciplines of big data research, and it will be interesting to understand the research trend of statistics through big data in the growing number of papers in statistics. In this study, we analyzed what studies are being conducted through abstract data of statistical papers in Korea and abroad. Research trends in domestic and international were analyzed through the frequency of keyword data of the papers, and the relationship between the keywords was visualized through the Word Embedding method. In addition to the keywords selected by the authors, words that are importantly used in statistical papers selected through Textrank were also visualized. Lastly, 10 topics were investigated by applying the LDA technique to the abstract data. Through the analysis of each topic, we investigated which research topics are frequently studied and which words are used importantly.
