The purpose of this study is to present a new industrial land demand prediction method that can consider external economic factors. The analysis model used ARIMA-X, which can consider exogenous variables. Exogenous variables are composed of macroeconomic variable, Business Survey Index, and Composite Economic Index variables to reflect the economic and industrial structure. And, among the exogenous variables, only variables that precede the supply of industrial land are used for prediction. Variables with precedence in the supply of industrial land were found to be import, private and government consumption expenditure, total capital formation, economic sentiment index, producer's shipment index, machinery for domestic demand and composite leading index. As a result of estimating the ARIMA-X model using these variables, the ARIMA-X(1,1,0) model including only the import was found to be statistically significant. The industrial land demand forecast predicted the industrial land from 2021 to 2030 by reflecting the scenario of change in import. As a result, the future demand for industrial land was predicted to increase by 1.91% annually to 1,030.79 km2. As a result of comparing these results with the existing exponential smoothing method, the results of this study were found to be more suitable than the existing models. It is expected to b available as a new industrial land forecasting model.

Due to the recent increase in various problems from underground development in urbanized areas, accurate underground facility information management is highly needed. Therefore, in this study, in order to utilize the Integration Map of Underground Goespatial Information in real time on-site, the function of comparing the mutual location of the GPR (Ground Penetration Radar) sensing data and the Integration Map of Underground Goespatial Information, and function of analyze underground facilities, and function of converting surveying data into a shape file through position correction & attribute editing in a 3D space, and the function of submitting the shape file to the Integration Map of Underground Goespatial Information mobile center was defined and developed as a program. In addition, for the on-site application test of the development program, scenarios used at the underground facility real-time survey site and GPR exploration site were derived, and four sites in Seoul were tested to confirm that the use scenario worked properly. Through this, the on-site utilization of the program developed in this study could be confirmed, and it would contribute to the confirmation of the quality of Shape-file and the "update automation" of "Integration Map of Underground Goespatial Information". In addition, it is expected that the development program will be further applied to the Underground Facility Map's Accuracy Improvement Diffusion Project' promoted by the MOLIT (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport).
Purpose: This experimental study was conducted to find out whether a water-mist fire suppression system can be applied to C.E.P., a representative combustible material of a rack storage. Method: First, it was confirmed whether the water-mist fire-extinguishing system used in this experiment was capable of extinguishing oil fires. After that, the C.E.P. boxes were loaded in the same small space as used in the oil fire experiment, and then the experiment was conducted on three scenarios; door opening, door closing, and door closing and increasing the internal load. The scenario was set considering the opening and space size conditions, which are important factors for the water-mist fire suppression. Result: Oil fire suppression tests have shown that fires are well extinguished in both the door open and closed conditions. In case of a fire of C.E.P. boxes in the same space condition as an oil fire, the fire was not extinguished in the door open condition. Fires were extinguished in the case with the door closed condition, but the afterglow was confirmed. Conclusion: In the oil fire suppression test, a water-mist fire suppression system extinguished a fire in both the door open and closed conditions. However, for the C.E.P fire, it was possible to extinguish only under the door closed condition, and there was a possibility of re-ignition.

For data such as rainfall and soil moisture, it is important to obtain the values of all points required as geostatistical data. Spatial interpolation is generally performed in this process, and commercial software such as ArcGIS is often used. However, commercial software has fatal drawbacks due to its high expertise and cost. In this study, R, an open source-based environment with ArcGIS, a commercial software, was used to compare the differences according to the processing environment when performing spatial interpolation. The data for spatial interpolation was weather forecast data calculated through Land-Atmosphere Modeling Package (LAMP)-WRF model, and soil moisture data calculated for each cumulative rainfall scenario. There was no difference in the output value in the two environments, but there was a difference in user interface and calculation time. The results of spatial interpolation work in the test bed showed that the average time required for R was 5 hours and 1 minute, and for ArcGIS, the average time required was 4 hours and 40 minutes, respectively, showing a difference of 7.5%. The results of this study are meaningful in that researchers can derive the same results in a commercial software environment and an open source-based environment, and can choose according to the researcher's environment and level.
According to the COVID-19, development of various medical software based on IoT(Internet of Things) was accelerated. Especially, interest in a central software system that can remotely monitor and control ventilators is increasing to solve problems related to the continuous increase in severe COVID-19 patients. Since medical device software is closely related to human life, this study aims to develop central monitoring system that can remotely monitor and control multiple ventilators in compliance with medical device software development standards and to verify performance of system. In addition, to ensure the safety and reliability of this central monitoring system, this study also specifies risk management requirements that can identify hazardous situations and evaluate potential hazards and confirms the implementation of cybersecurity to protect against potential cyber threats, which can have serious consequences for patient safety. As a result, we obtained medical device software manufacturing certificates from MFDS(Ministry of Food and Drug Safety) through technical documents about performance verification, risk management and cybersecurity application. The purpose of this study is to conduct a usability assessment to ensure that ergonomic design has been applied so that the ventilator central monitoring system can improve user satisfaction, efficiency, and safety. The rapid spread of COVID-19, which began in 2019, caused significant damage global medical system. In this situation, the need for a system to monitor multiple patients with ventilators was highlighted as a solution for various problems. Since medical device software is closely related to human life, ensuring their safety and satisfaction is important before their actual deployment in the field. In this study, a total of 21 participants consisting of respiratory staffs conducted usability test according to the use scenarios in the simulated use environment. Nine use scenarios were conducted to derive an average task success rate and opinions on user interface were collected through five-point Likert scale satisfaction evaluation and questionnaire. Participants conducted a total of nine use scenario tasks with an average success rate of 93% and five-point Likert scale satisfaction survey showed a high satisfaction result of 4.7 points on average. Users evaluated that the device would be useful for effectively managing multiple patients with ventilators. However, improvements are required for interfaces associated with task that do not exceed the threshold for task success rate. In addition, even medical devices with sufficient safety and efficiency cannot guarantee absolute safety, so it is suggested to continuously evaluate user feedback even after introducing them to the actual site.

As international environmental regulations on ship emissions are gradually strengthened, interest in electric propulsion and hybrid propulsion ships is increasing, and various solutions are being developed and applied to these ships, especially stabilization of the power system and system efficiency. The direct current distribution system is being applied as a way to increase the power. In addition, verification and testing of safety and performance of marine DC distribution systems is required. As a result of establishing a DC distribution test bed, verifying the performance of the DC distribution (variable speed power generation) system, and analyzing fuel consumption, this study applied a variable speed power generation system that is applied to DC power distribution for ships, and converted the power output from the generator into a rectifier. A system was developed to convert direct current power to connect to the system and monitor and control these devices. Through tests using this DC distribution system, the maximum voltage was 751.5V and the minimum voltage was 731.4V, and the voltage fluctuation rate was 2.7%, confirming that the voltage is stably supplied within 3%, and a variable speed power generation system was installed according to load fluctuations. When applied, it was confirmed through testing that fuel consumption could be reduced by more than 20% depending on the section compared to the existing constant speed power generation system.

In recent years, frequent terror or military attacks by explosion or impact accidents have occurred. Examplary case of these attacks were World Trade Center collapse and US Department of Defense Pentagon attack on Sept. 11 of 2001. These attacks of the civil infrastructure have induced numerous casualties and property damage, which raised public concerns and anxiety of potential terrorist attacks. However, a existing design procedure for civil infrastructures do not consider a protective design for extreme loading scenario. Also, the extreme loading researches of prestressed concrete (PSC) member, which widely used for nuclear containment vessel, gas tank, bridges, and tunnel, are insufficient due to experimental limitations of loading characteristics. To protect concrete structures against extreme loading such as explosion and impact with high strain rate, understanding of the effect, characteristic, and propagation mechanism of extreme loadings on structures is needed. Therefore, in this paper, to evaluate the impact resistance capacity and its protective performance of bi-directional unbonded prestressed concrete member, impact tests were carried out on $1400mm{\times}1000mm{\times}300mm$ for reinforced concrete (RC), prestressed concrete without rebar (PS), prestressed concrete with rebar (PSR, general PSC) specimens. According to test site conditions, impact tests were performed with 14 kN impactor with drop height of 10 m, 5 m, 4 m for preliminary tests and 3.5 m for main tests. Also, in this study, the procedure, layout, and measurement system of impact tests were established. The impact resistance capacity was measured using crack patterns, damage rates, measuring value such as displacement, acceleration, and residual structural strength. The results can be used as basic research references for related research areas, which include protective design and impact numerical simulation under impact loading.

The purpose of this study is to determine the order of priority for the use of amendments, matching the optimal amendment to the specific site in Korea. This decision-making process must prioritize the stabilization and economic efficiency of amendment for heavy metals and metalloid based on domestic site contamination scenarios. For this study, total 5 domestic heavy metal contaminated sites were selected based on different pollution scenarios and 13 amendments, which were previously studied as the soil stabilizer. Batch extraction experiments were performed to quantify the stabilization efficiency for 8 heavy metals (including As and Hg) for 5 soil samples, representing 5 different pollution scenarios. For each amendment, the analyses using XRD and XRF to identify their properties, the toxicity characteristics leaching procedure (TCLP) test, and the synthetic precipitation leaching procedure (SPLP) test were also conducted to evaluate the leaching safety in applied site. From results of batch experiments, the amendments showing > 20% extraction lowering efficiency for each heavy metal (metalloid) was selected and the top 5 ranked amendments were determined at different amount of amendment and on different extraction time conditions. For each amendment, the total number of times ranked in the top 5 was counted, prioritizing the feasible amendment for specific domestic contaminated sites in Korea. Mine drainage treatment sludge, iron oxide, calcium oxide, calcium hydroxide, calcite, iron sulfide, biochar showed high extraction decreasing efficiency for heavy metals in descending order. When the economic efficiency for these amendments was analyzed, mine drainage treatment sludge, limestone, steel making slag, calcium oxide, calcium hydroxide were determined as the priority amendment for the Korean field application in descending order.

The key to invasive pest management lies in preemptive action. However, most current research using species distribution models is conducted after an invasion has occurred. This study modeled the potential distribution of the globally notorious sweet potato pest, the sweet potato weevil(Cylas formicarius), that has not yet invaded Korea using MaxEnt. Using global occurrence data, bioclimatic variables, and topsoil characteristics, MaxEnt showed high explanatory power as both the training and test areas under the curve exceeded 0.9. Among the environmental variables used in this study, minimum temperature in the coldest month (BIO06), precipitation in the driest month (BIO14), mean diurnal range (BIO02), and bulk density (BDOD) were identified as key variables. The predicted global distribution showed high values in most countries where the species is currently present, with a significant potential invasion risk in most South American countries where C. formicarius is not yet present. In Korea, Jeju Island and the southwestern coasts of Jeollanam-do showed very high probabilities. The impact of climate change under shared socioeconomic pathway (SSP) scenarios indicated an expansion along coasts as climate change progresses. By applying the 10th percentile minimum training presence rule, the potential area of occurrence was estimated at 1,439 km2 under current climate conditions and could expand up to 9,485 km2 under the SSP585 scenario. However, the model predicted that an inland invasion would not be serious. The results of this study suggest a need to focus on the risk of invasion in islands and coastal areas.
