만성 뇌졸중 환자들의 Step Test의 상대적·절대적 신뢰도와 타당도 (The Relative·Absolute Reliability and Validity of Step Test in Patients with Chronic Stroke)

  • Purpose : To examine the relative absolute reliability and validity of step test (ST) scores in subjects with chronic stroke. Method : A total of 27 stroke patients, participated in the study. A relative reliability index (intraclass correlation coefficient, ICC) was used to examine the level of agreement of inter-rater test-retest reliability for ST score. Absolute reliability indices, including the standard error of measurement(SEM) and the minimal detectable change (MDC), and limits of agreement by Bland and Altman analysis. The validity was demonstrated by spearman correlation of ST score with 10 m Walk Test (10mWT), Fugl-Meyer Assessment-Lower/Extremity (FMA-L/E)-total score, Berg Balance Scale (BBS)-total score. Result : An excellent inter-rater reliability in ST scores was found (paretic, ICC=0.993~0.996; nonparetic, ICC=0.982~0.991). In addition, excellent test-retest reliability was found (paretic, ICC=0.992; nonparetic, ICC=0.967). It all showed acceptable SEM of the ST score as paretic and nonparetic were 0.22 and 0.46 respectively (average score <10 %), and the MDC of the paretic and nonparetic were 0.61 and 1.27 respectively (possible highest score <20 %). indicating that measures had a small and acceptable measurement error. The ST score of paretic and nonparetic were also found to be significantly associated with 10MWT (r=0.77~0.79), FMA-LE scores (r=0.73~0.81) and BBS scores (r=0.72~0.76). Conclusion : The ST showed highly sufficient Inter-rater test-retest agreement and validity and acceptable measurement errors caused by due to chance variation in measurement. It also can be used by clinicians and researchers to assess the balance and mobility performance and monitor functional change in chronic stroke patients.

  • 최근 무기체계의 개발에서 핵심부품 구성품의 신뢰성 시험이 국방전력발전 업무훈령 규정에 반영되고 각 종 부품의 복잡도의 증가로 인하여서 신뢰성의 중요도가 강조되고 있고 그에 따라서 신뢰성 시험의 중요성 또한 강조되고 있다. 또한 핵심 구성품의 수명시험 비용과 기간을 단축하기 위해서는 가속수명시험 기법의 적절한 적용이 요구되어 있다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 헬기에 장착되는 블래더형 축압기를 대상으로 한 신뢰성시험 설계 방법을 연구하고 신뢰성 시험 설계에 필요한 프로세스를 제시 하였다. 축압기의 신뢰성 시험을 설계하기 위해 고장률예측, 고장모드 영향 분석, 고장나무분석 등의 기법을 이용하여 주요 고장모드와 고장 메커니즘을 조사하고 2-Stage QFD를 통하여서 각 고장모드의 우선순위 및 중요도를 체크함과 동시에 주요 스트레스 인자를 분석하여 적절한 가속 모델을 선택했다. 그리고 필요 시료 수와 신뢰도 수준 및 각각의 스트레스 조건에 따라서 무고장 시험 설계법을 참고하여 정상상태의 신뢰성시험을 설계하였고 또한 선택한 가속 모델을 사용하여 계산한 가속계수에 따라 가속 수명시험시간을 계산하였다.

유도탄 및 발사체계로 구성된 유도무기체계의 신뢰도 성장 분석 사례 연구 (A Case Study on Reliability Growth Analysis for a missile System composed of All-Up-Round Missile and Launcher)

  • 본 연구에서는 특정 유도무기체계에 대한 신뢰도 성장 분석을 수행하였다. 개발단계에서의 시험을 통해 고장 모드와 원인을 식별하고 시험 중 발견된 고장을 분석하여 지속적인 관리 활동을 수행하고 있다. 해당 유도무기체계는 유도탄과 발사 체계로 구성되어 있으며, 각 장비의 시험 결과에 따라 신뢰도 성장 분석을 실시하였다. 유도탄의 경우에는 일회성 무기로 성공과 실패인 이산형 데이터로 시험 결과를 획득하였다. 발사체계의 경우에는 시험에서 지속해서 장비 운용을 하여 연속형 데이터로 시험 결과를 획득하였다. 각각의 시험 결과 형태로 신뢰도 성장 모델을 Standard Gompertz 모델과 Crow-Extended 모델을 적용하였다. 해당 모델을 사용하여 현재까지 수행한 시험 결과에 대한 신뢰도 성장 분석 결과를 확인하였다. 또한 미래에 수행될 시험 결과를 가정하여 신뢰도 성장 결과를 예측할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 해당 유도무기체계의 신뢰도 목표값을 달성하고 시험 횟수를 결정하는데 있어 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 그리고 이후 계획된 시험을 확인하여 해당 유도무기체계에 대한 신뢰도 성장 관리를 지속적으로 추진할 예정이다.

정압 베어링 볼 조인트의 신뢰성 향상 (Reliability Evaluation of Hydrostatic Bearing Ball Joint)

  • Hydrostatic bearing improves performance and life time of a product by avoiding solid friction and reducing viscosity friction with the help of creating pressure equilibrium between two faces doing relative motion. This study suggests failure analysis and test evaluation for a ball joint that adopts the hydrostatic bearing and introduces the entire process to improve reliability of the product by design improvement. A typical failure is growth of friction torque by solid friction, and its failure cause is determined and the improvement is proposed. Finally, reliability improvement is established by analysis of the results of before and after acceleration test.

  • GPS(Global positioning system) system is widely used in artificial satellite, ground controlled approach system as well as in end-user environment such as in the automobile. It is exposed to a very diverse environment and consists of many complicated components and therefore needs careful approach to the enhancement of reliability of the item. In this article reliability standards for the GPS system are established in terms of quality certification tests and failure rate tests.

한국형경량전철(K-AGT)시스템의 신뢰성 DB 프로그램 개발과 활용 (Development and Application of Reliability DB Program for K-AGT system)

  • Korea Railroad Research Institute developed the driverless rubber-tired Korean-AGT system from 1999 to 2005 and has done its performance and reliability tests on the test line at Gyeongsan-city. We made the reliability management program to control required the RAMS(reliability, availability, maintainability & safety) of the K-AGT system. Therefore, we demonstrated the development and application of Reliability DB program. The main functions of K-AGT Reliability DB program manages failures and maintenance data systematically from the test line through test period and provides various analysis results based on the inputted data.

Comparisons of Test-Retest Reliability of Strength Measurement of Gluteus Medius Strength between Break and Make Test in Subjects with Pelvic Drop

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the reliability of unilateral hip abductor strength assessment in side-lying with break and make test in subjects with pelvic drop. Hip abduction muscles are very important in the hip joint structures. Therefore, it is essential to evaluate their strength in a reliable way. Methods: Twenty-five subjects participated in this study. Unilateral isometric hip abductor muscle strength was measured in side-lying, with use of a specialized tensiometer using smart KEMA system for make test, of a hand held dynamometer for break test. Coefficients of variation, and intra class correlation coefficients were calculated to determine test-retest reliability of hip abductor strength. Results: In make test, maximal hip abductor strength in the side-lying position was significantly higher compared with break test (p<0.05). Additionally, Test-retest reliability of hip abductor strength measurements in terms of coefficients of variation (3.7% for make test, 16.1% for break test) was better in the side-lying position with make test. All intraclass correlation coefficients with break test were lower than make test (0.90 for make test, 0.73 for break test). Conclusion: The side-lying body position with make test offers more reliable assessment of unilateral hip abductor strength than the same position with break test. Make test in side-lying can be recommended for reliable measurement of hip abductor strength in subjects with pelvic drop.

  • Purpose: This paper suggests the procedure to enhance the reliability of the software of the medical device that is to cure, treat, diagnose, and prevent a disease or an abnormal health conditions. Methods: After test requirements are classified by the software requirements specification for safety and backgrounds, reliability assessment methods are suggested. Results: Verification and validation for function and safety can be performed whether the medical device software are implemented as intended. Conclusion: Procedure on the static analysis, unit test, integration test, and system test are provided for the medical device software.

소프트웨어 시험 전략과 신뢰도 모델적응 연구 (A Study of the Software Testing Methods and fitness of the Reliability Models)

  • Software testing during development and operation should exercise to obtain the desired software quality and leave failure data set. So far, many software reliability models are classified and can be used to measure a software reliability only based on its failure history But, in practice, developers or testers of software systems must decide which existing software reliability model can be fitted. In this paper, we will show that an appropriate reliability model can be selected by considering relations between characteristics of each testing environment and models' assumptions. Several methods of software testing are presented and discussed. Also, unit test, integrated test, function test and system test that are sequentially exercised during development will be introduced.

고무차륜형식 경량전철 차량 알루미늄 구조체 신뢰성 분석 연구 (Analysis on reliability of the aluminium carbody of the rubber tired AGT)

  • Recently, so as to solve the urban transportation problem the LRT(Light Rail Transit) system has been studied on the essential technology and the engineering know-how, which lead lower construction cost and higher reliability. The localization development of rubber tired AGT(Automatic Guided Trainsit) system has performed from 1999 to 2004, as a national project of the Minister of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs. For the application of the rubber tired AGT system in Busan Subway 3-2 Line, this study is focused on the reliability of aluminium profiles vehicle carbody and the establishment of the test and evaluation technologies. In this paper, 3D modeling simulation was applied to the load test of aluminium vehicle carbody. The reliability of the vehicle carbody was estimated as the fatigue test of welded aluminium profiles. From the test and simulation results, it could be concluded that the developed rubber tired AGT shows a good structural reliability and integrity.
