  • It is very difficult to accomplish load tests of piles with large diameter constructed on the offshore area, because of requirement for large scaled loading equipment and bad testing conditions. Therefore, so far in many cases pile driving dynamic formulas have applied to quality control, and recently dynamic load test method is widely used for confirming bearing capacities of such piles. However, in cases of piles with very large diameter about 2,500mm, it is nearly impossible for regular type load test methods of piles such as static and dynamic to apply owing to very large design load. This is case studies of load tests such as modified static and dynamic load tests of piles and point load tests of rock samples for estimating rational allowable bearing capacity of very large diameter piles constructed on the marine area.

소방용 비상발전기의 현장부하시험을 위한 ESS 부하시험장치의 경제성평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on Economic Evaluations of ESS Load Test Device for Field Load Test in Fire-fighting Emergency Generator Systems)

  • 소방용 비상발전기는 화재와 같은 비상상황에서 인명과 재산을 보호하는 소방시설에 비상전원을 공급하는 중요한 시설이다. 이러한 중요성에 따라 비상발전기는 주기적인 부하시험으로 성능과 상태를 확인하여야 한다. 비상발전기의 일반적인 부하시험 방법은 R, L, C 부하로 구성된 Load Bank를 이용하여 시험하고 있다. 최근, 비상발전기의 효율적인 부하시험을 위하여, 시험 중에 발생한 전력을 저장하였다가 전기사업자에게 판매하는 ESS 부하시험장치의 도입이 검토되고 있다. 그러나 리튬이온배터리의 높은 가격으로 인하여, ESS 부하시험장치는 기존의 Load Bank 방식보다 초기투자비가 많이 소요될 수 있어, 상용화가 어려운 실정이다. 하지만, 비상발전기의 부하시험 동안 발전된 전력의 판매를 고려하면, ESS 부하시험장치는 경제적인 사업모델이 될 가능성이 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 ESS 부하시험장치의 정확한 경제성을 평가하기 위하여, ESS 부하시험장치에 충전된 전력의 판매를 고려한 비용요소와 편익요소로 구성된 경제성평가 모델링을 제시한다. 또한, 제시한 모델링을 바탕으로 ESS 부하시험장치와 Load Bank에 대한 투자회수율과 회수년도를 비교 및 분석한 결과, 전력판매를 고려할 경우 ESS 부하시험장치의 상용화가 가능함을 확인하였다.

  • 기존 신축이음장치 교체 시간을 절감하고, 차선별 부분교체가 가능하도록 보수성을 개선한 신축이음장치 시스템(HRS)에 대하여 실물규모의 수직하중 피로시험과 윤하중 성능실험을 수행하여 내구성을 평가하였다. 수직하중 피로시험결과 레일형 신축이음장치의 최대응력은 170 Mpa이며, 이는 HRS 신축이음장치레일의 항복강도 355MPa의 약 47.8% 수준이다. 보수성을 개선한 HRS 신축이음장치의 수직하중 피로시험은 도로교설계기준에 따라 재하판의 크기와 하중을 설정하였고, 200만회 수직하중 피로시험과 윤하중 성능실험에 있어서 파괴거동을 나타내지 않았으며 그 내구성과 안전성을 확인하였다.

승용차용 전장시험 자동화 시스템 설계 (Design of an Automatic Test System for Electronic Equipments in Vehicles)

  • The performance analysis of an electronic equipment test is very complicate due to the variety o vehicles. In this study, automatic design system for the electronic equipment test has been carried out using the standard load patterns. For the test, standard signal patterns for each item are modeled. The test items can be decided by the user by means of these patterns. Also, engineering software modules are developed and proved to be very efficient for analyzing the test results statistically. Experiments are performed for the test system in the vehicle assembly line. By analyzing the test results, it is found that bad samples can be detected without failure. Also, the engineering software modules provide an analytical tool for the automation of the test process.

  • This paper describes the result of structure analysis and load test of body structure. The purpose of the analysis and test is to evaluate an safety which body structure shall be considered fully sufficient rigidity so as to satisfy proper system function under maximum load and operating condition. Material of body structure applied an aluminum alloy. Body structure consist of side frame, under frame, roof frame, end frame. Both FEM analysis and load test are based on 'Performance Test Standard for Electrical Multiple Unit, noticed by Ministry of Construction & Transportation, in 2000' and reference code is JIS E 7105. The test results have been very safety and stable fer design load conditions.

CPR 말뚝의 인발재하시험을 통한 주면마찰력 평가 (Evaluation of Skin Friction Using Tensile Load Testing of CPR Piles)

  • CPR 시험말뚝에 대해 인발재하시험을 실시하고, 하중-변위 곡선과 하중-침하량 곡선을 분석한 후 항복하중과 허용지지력을 산정하여 주면마찰력을 평가하였다. 하중-변위 곡선으로부터 분석된 CPR 시험말뚝의 결과에 의하면, CPR 시험말뚝의 직경이 큰 경우의 항복하중과 허용지지력이 작은 경우보다 약 1.4배 이상 크게 나타났다. 하중-침하량 곡선으로 부터 분석된 결과에 의하면, CPR 시험말뚝의 직경 D500의 허용지지력이 D400보다 약 1.2~2.1배 큰 것으로 나타났다. 하지만, Fuller 분석에 의해 산정된 허용지지력은 P-S 곡선과 log P - log S 곡선에 의해 산정된 허용지지력과 큰 차이를 보여, Fuller 분석에 의한 허용지지력 산정은 적절하지 않은 것으로 판단되었다.

Development of an accelerated life test procedure considering the integrated equivalent load of an implement working pump for an agricultural tractor

  • The goal of this study was to develop an accelerated life test for an implement working pump for an agricultural tractor. The field experiments were conducted to measure the load of an implement working pump during major agricultural operations such as plow tillage, rotary tillage, baler operations, and wrapping operations. The measurement system for an implement working pump load was constructed using a pressure sensor, the engine rotational speed, and the hitch pump displacement. The measured implement working pump load was calculated as an equivalent load for each agricultural operation using the Palmgren-Miner rule, which is a cumulative damage method. The equivalent load was calculated using the total load data and peak load data when the total data included the operation of an implement working. The annual usage time of the agricultural tractor was applied to develop two integrated equivalent loads. The acceleration factor was calculated to develop an accelerated life test and was calculated from the two integrated equivalent loads, the maximum pressure, and the flow rate conditions of the hitch pump. In Korea, the warranty life of a tractor is 2,736 hours, and the time required for the test to guarantee the operational life of tractors was calculated as 7,561 hours. The acceleration factors were calculated as 453.6 and 38.3, respectively, from the total load data and peak load data. The fatigue test time can be shortened by 16.7 and 197.4 hours according to the result of the acceleration factors.

구조해석에 의한 파이프서포트의 내력비교에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Strength Comparison of Steel Pipe Support using the Structural Analysis Program)

  • Formwork is a temporary structure that supports its weight and that of fresh concrete as well as construction live loads. Slab formwork consists of sheathing, stringer, hanger and shore. In construction site, pipe supports are usually used as shores which are consisted of the slab formwork. In this study, compressive strength of 80 pipe supports was measured by knife edge test and plate test. Buckling load of pipe supports was analyzed by structural analysis program(MlDAS). Theoretical buckling load with/without initial deformation was got by theoretical analysis. According to these results, buckling load which was analyzed by structural analysis program(MlDAS) was larger than compressive strength of knife edge test and plate test. Theoretical buckling load without initial deformation was larger than compressive strength of knife edge test and plate test. But Theoretical buckling load with initial deformation was lower than compressive strength of knife edge test and plate test. Initial deformation equation for test method according to the pipe support length was suggested. Therefore, the present study results will be used to design the slab formwork safely.

  • The load distribution in a ground anchor is very complex because it involves three different materials(soil, grout, and steel), which sometimes act as composite sections (bonded length) or separately (unbounded length). Therefore it is very hard to understand load transfer mechanism on the anchor. In order to understand the load transfer, it is essential to consider the load distribution In the three different materials. On these purposes, full scale anchor test is planned on the geotechnical site at Sunkyunkwan University Prior to the test, modeling and analyses of the load transfer mechanism were performed on the data from the case histories.
