양방향성 형상기억합금을 이용한 공작물 척킹장치: 유용성 검증 (Workpiece-Chucking Device Using Two-Way Shape Memory Alloys: Feasibility Test)

  • In this study, a workpiece-chucking device that generates a chucking force from a shape memory alloy is introduced. This paper first presents train procedure to transform a commercial one-way shape memory alloy into a two-way shape memory alloy, which makes unclamping mechanism of the chucking device simpler than that using the one-way shape memory alloy Second, it describes a conceptual design of the workpiece-chucking device using the two-way type shape memory alloy. Third, it presents a prototype and its chucking characteristics, such as time-response of clamping/unclamping operations and a relationship between temperatures and chucking forces. Finally, it describes a mill-machining test conducted with the prototype. The results confirm that the proposed workpiece-chucking device is feasible for micro machine-tools.

  • 액체로켓엔진 개발에서 필수 단계인 연소안정성 확인을 위한 연소안정성 평가시험(stability rating test) 방법의 개발을 위해서는 압력교란장치의 특성과 더불어 안전한 연소시험 절차(sequence)의 확립이 필수적이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 연소안정성 평가시험을 위해 개발된 펄스건을 액체로켓엔진의 연소시험에 실제로 적용하기 위한 단계로서, 적절한 연소 시험 절차를 개발/검증하고자 하였다. 먼저 펄스건을 실제로 연소실 외벽에 장착하게 되는 압력파 유도장치를 설계하고, 펄스건의 오작동을 방지하기 위한 압력파 유도장치 내부의 냉각시스템의 설계 및 시험을 수행하였다. 이러한 일련의 연소시험 단계를 통하여 실물형 액체로켓엔진에서의 연소안정성 평가시험이 가능한 적절한 시험 단계를 국내 독자적으로 개발하는데 성공하였다.

  • This research carried out the experimental manufacture of the improved fastening device and its performance test as well as the structural improvement of the prototype of a new type of fastening device developed through G7 Project during the first year of the second phase. Firstly, a supplementary design for each part of the prototype was carried out in order to improve its performance and a structural analysis in order to review the stress on the fastening spring. Secondly, another prototype was manufactured and then a performance test was carried out with the criteria used for the same kind of test on the authorized ones, both at home and abroad. Finally, the usability of the device was reviewed by comparing above-mentioned test result with that of those already under commercial use.

  • In this paper, we proposed mobile LCD module test device on embedded based, when operating the existing LCD, divide flicker clearly in full frame, and configuration so as to support between other CPU interface, MDDI, SPI, 24Bit RGB interface, etc. that is based on a high-speed CPU. In addition, when demand to test about each pixel of LCD, it is possible to change IP design of H/W, FPGA, but proposed system is application possible without other design changing. Proposed system is made smaller and equipped with battery, so secure with mobility for effective test the LCD/OLED module and it is able to test the pattern by the client program, for example exiting picture, mpeg, simple pattern test and test per pixel, scale, rotation, Odd/Even pixel per video, etc. From now on, if integrating with independent test system and it is configured that is able to mutual communication and test, it is expected to reduce consumption of human resources and improve productivity for LCD module test.

  • The spent fuel slitting device is an equipment developed for the separation of the pellet and hull from the cutting fuel rod with length of 250 mm, and in order to feed UO$_2$ pellet. We have analyzed on the existing technologies for designing and producing of the slitting device in the first year(2001), based on these results, designed and produced the rod slitting device. It has effectively separated the pellet from the hull, but demanded the supplement separation work because of the mixing with pellet and hull in the vessel, and required the condition for the reducing time of the process. In the second year(2002), we have reduced the work time, performed the test and capacity evaluation with the improving device, based these results, and ensured the data demanded for designing of the spent fuel rod slitting device. We have compared with the DUPIC(Direct use of spent PWR fuel in CAND reactors) process, and developed the device for the purpose of reducing over 40 % in comparition with the DUPIC operation time(5 minutes). Based on these results, it will is effectively applied to available data for designing and producing of the hot test facility.

  • 의료기기 소프트웨어 테스트 위험관리 적용 방안에 대해 연구하였다. 먼저 설문조사를 통해 의료기기 제조업체의 소프트웨어 밸리데이션 및 위험관리 현황을 분석하고 두 번째로 블랙박스 테스트와 화이트 박스 테스트를 비교하여 차이점을 분석하였다. 세 번째로 소프트웨어 분석 도구를 활용한 코드 분석 후 잠재적인 위해요인을 도출하고 이를 정량화 하였으며, 마지막으로 도출된 위해요인을 FMEA 기법을 이용하여 의료기기 위험관리 프로세스에 적용할 수 있도록 프레임워크를 구축하였다. 이를 통해 의료기기 품질관리(GMP) 업무 중 소프트웨어 밸리데이션 및 위험관리 프로세스를 구축하기 어려운 제조업체를 위한 업무 지원에 활용하고자 한다.

나사잭 메커니즘을 이용한 비폭발식 분리장치 (Non-explosive separation device using screw jack mechanism)

  • 본 논문에서는 나사잭의 메커니즘을 이용한 인공위성의 비폭발식 분리장치를 설계 및 제작하였다. 분리장치의 구동기로는 정격토크가 $1.7kgf{\cdot}cm$의 성능을 가진 회전형 피에조 모터를 사용하여 분리장치의 안정적인 작동이 이뤄지도록 하였다. 또한 인공위성의 분리장치로의 성능을 검증하기 위하여 반응속도 실험, 준정적 하중실험, 충격실험을 수행하였다. 실험을 수행한 결과, 반응속도는 약 1.172초로 측정되었고, 45kgf의 하중에서도 안정적으로 견딜 수 있음을 확인하였다. 최대 충격 가속도는 18G가 측정이 되었는데 이것은 폭발식 분리장치에 비해 매우 작은 값이다. 우리는 이러한 실험을 통하여 제안한 분리장치의 신뢰성을 확인하였으며, 인공위성 분리장치로써의 가능성을 제시하였다.

  • The operation of heavy tracked vehicle has the problems in the steering that made by misoperations. The protection device is applied to the vehicles. But that device is applied to the vehicles. But that device has the engine stop and over load condition problems. the steering safety system is developed on the basis of clutch slip that proved the durability in the dynamo test and field test. The steering safety system caused the performance improvement of vehicles when steering.

  • The ACF(Anisotropic Conductive Film) is used for bonding Drive IC and OLED display device panel. If ACF bonding process is problem, a malfunction of line defect can occur. Because electric resistance increase between the panel and drive IC after a period of time, drive IC can not supply enough current to the panel. This paper is studied on a method of test for line defect.

A new approach for measurement of anisotropic tensile strength of concrete

  • In this paper, a compression to tensile load converter device was developed to determine the anisotropic tensile strength of concrete. The samples were made from a mixture of water, fine sand and cement, respectively. Concrete samples with a hole at its center was prepared and subjected to tensile loading using the compression to tensile load converter device. A hydraulic load cell applied compressive loading to converter device with a constant pressure of 0.02 MPa per second. Compressive loading was converted to tensile stress on the sample because of the overall test design. The samples have three different configurations related to loading axis; 0, $45^{\circ}$, $-45^{\circ}$. A series of finite element analysis were done to analyze the effect of hole diameter on stress concentration of the hole side along its horizontal axis to provide a suitable criterion for determining the real tensile strength of concrete. Concurrent with indirect tensile test, Brazilian test and three point loading test were also performed to compare the results from the three methods. Results obtained by this device were quite encouraging and show that the tensile strengths of concrete were similar in different directions because of the homogeneity of bonding between the concrete materials. Also, the indirect tensile strength was clearly lower than the Brazilian test strength and three point loading test.
