컨테이너 터미널의 자원 할당계획에 관한 연구 (Study on the Resource Allocation Planning of Container Terminal)

  • We focus on resource allocation planning in container terminal operation planning problems and present network design model and genetic algorithm. We present a network design model in which arc capacities must be properly dimensioned to sustain the container traffic. This model supports various planning aspects of container terminal and brings in a very general form. The integer programming model of network design can be extended to accommodate vertical or horizontal yard configuration by adding constraints such as restricting the sum of yard cranes allocated to a block of yards. We devise a genetic algorithm for the network design model in which genes have the form of general integers instead of binary integers. In computational experiments, it is found that the genetic algorithm can produce very good solution compared to the optimal solution obtained by CPLEX in terms of computation time and solution quality. This algorithm can be used to generate many alternatives of a resource allocation plan for the container terminal and to evaluate the alternatives using various tools such as simulation.

  • The trend of compact size, light weight, low power consumption in the portable telecommunication equipments demands large scale integration and low voltage operation of chips and the minimization of the number of the components in the telecommunication terminal. According to the trend, existing chip components are modulized and are integrated as a part into a bigger chip. This paper is about the development of the peripheral units of micro-controller for mobile telecommunication terminal. Peripherals consist of DMA controller, Interrupt controller, timer, watchdog timer, clock generator, and power management unit. They are designed to be integrated with EU(Execution Unit) and BIU(Bus Interface Unit) into a 16 bit micro-controller which will be used as a core of an ASIC for next generation digital mobile telecommunication terminal. At first, whole block of the micro-controller was described by VHDL behavioral model and simulated to verify its overall operation. Then, watchdog timer, clock generator and power management unit were directly synthesized by using VHDL synthesis tool. Rest of the pheriperal units were designed and simulated by using Compass Design Tool.

  • 컨테이너 터미널의 생산성은 안벽 크레인의 생산성으로 간주 될 수 있다. 안벽크레인의 경우 그 기계적인 생산력은 이미 고정되어 있기 때문에 최대생산성을 발휘하기 위해 장치장에서 크레인으로의 원활한 화물의 흐름이 요구되고 있다. 이를 위해서는 터미널 생산성에 직접 관련이 있는 수출 화물 장치장을 효율적으로 계획하고 운영해야 함으로서, 장치장, 크레인간 병목현상을 줄이고 원활한 화물 흐름을 유도해야 한다. 하지만 수출 컨테이너의 경우 그 반입 시점이 매우 불확실하고, 임의의 시점에 반입량이 예측 불가능한 특성으로 인해 효율적인 수출 장치장 계획에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 터미널의 반입 패턴을 분석하고 이에 맞는 수출 장치장 계획을 수립하는 방법에 대해 연구해 보았다.

  • 자동화 컨테이너 터미널에서 자동화 장치장 크레인(ASC)은 장치장 블록 내에서의 컨테이너 운송을 담당한다. 본 논문에서는 크기와 사양이 동일한 두 대의 ASC의 작업 할당 문제를 해결하기 위한 다중 평가 기준 전략을 제안한다. 제안 방안은 컨테이너 터미널의 상황을 다각적으로 고려하기 위하여 여러 평가 요소를 통해 후보 작업을 평가하고, 결과를 가중합함으로써 가장 높은 점수를 얻은 작업을 크레인에 할당하는 방식을 취한다. 본 논문에서는 작업 할당을 위한 평가 기준을 고안하고, 평가 결과를 취합하기 위한 가중치를 유전 알고리즘을 이용하여 최적화하는 방안을 제안한다. 실험 결과를 통하여 제안 방안이 낮은 계산 비용으로 실시간 터미널에 적합함을 보이고, 다양한 평가 기준을 통한 작업 할당이 컨테이너 터미널의 효율을 개선시킴을 확인하였다.

Ka대역 위성통신용 fly-away 터미널 안테나 & RF 시스템 설계 (An Antenna & RF System for Fly-away Satcom Terminal Application on Ka-band)

  • An Antenna & RF system for a fly-away satcom terminal application on ka-band is presented in this paper. The Fly-away satellite terminal can be moved and operated by two person and adapt automatic satellite tracking system in order to decrease the tracking time. Additionally, for low-power consumption, compact size and light-weight, a dual reflector antenna is constructed using dual-offset gregorian antenna structure. For minimize weight, the reflector of the antenna is made of Magnesium. For low-power consumption and light-weight, the pHEMT MMIC compound devices is utilized. The Electronic Band-Gap(EBG) Low-Pass Filter(LPF) is designed for harmonic rejection. In the receiving part, Low-Noise Block converter(LNB) structure is designed for compact and lightweight. In this paper, fly-away satcom terminal with low-power consumption, compact size and light-weight is described with antenna system and RF system performances. Through the experimentation, fly-away terminal's EIRP is more than 50dBW, G/T is more than $17dB/^{\circ}K$.

Reflection Characteristics of Eco Block on Seabed

  • In order to protect coastal facilities mainly from wave and current actions, the self-locking eco blocks constituting elements of protecting shore structures against scouring were designed. These blocks are adapted to the sloping bottom, coastal dunes, and submerged coastal pipelines, counteracting the destructive and erosive impulse action. A series of laboratory experiments has been conducted to investigate the reflection of water waves over and against a train of protruded or submerged shore structures and compare the reflecting capabilities of incident waves including wave forces. In this study the hydraulic model experiment was conducted to identify the performance of newly designed water affinity eco blocks to keep the coast slope and bottom mound from scouring by reduction of the wave reflection and to convince stability of the block placement. Revised design of each block element was also tested for field conditions. From the result of experiments, the field applicability of the developed blocks and placement was discussed afterward.

Synthesis and Characterization of Sulfonated Poly(arylene ether) Polyimide Multiblock Copolymers for Proton Exchange Membranes

  • Novel multiblock copolymers, based on segmented sulfonated hydrophilic-hydrophobic blocks, were synthesized and investigated for their application as proton exchange membranes. A series of segmented sulfonated poly(arylene ether sulfone)-b-polyimide multiblock copolymers, with various block lengths, were synthesized via the coupling reaction between the terminal amine moieties on the hydrophilic blocks and naphthalene anhydride functionalized hydrophobic blocks. Successful imidization reactions required a mixed solvent system, comprised of NMP and m-cresol, in the presence of catalysts. Proton conductivity measurements revealed that the proton conductivity improved with increasing hydrophilic and hydrophobic block lengths. The morphological structure of the multiblock copolymers was investigated using tapping mode atomic force microscopy (TM-AFM). The AFM images of the copolymers demonstrated well-defined nanophase separated morphologies, with the changes in the block length having a pronounced effect on the phase separated morphologies of the system. The self diffusion coefficient of water, as measured by $^1H$ NMR, provided a better understanding of the transport process. Thus, the block copolymers showed higher values than Nafion, and comparable proton conductivities in liquid water, as well as under partially hydrated conditions at $80^{\circ}C$. The new materials are strong candidates for use in PEM systems.

고용량 모르핀의 지속적 경막외주입에 의한 암성 통증 조절 -증례보고- (Epidural Analgesia Using High Dose Morphine in a Terminal Lung Cancer Patient -A case report-)

  • Pain control is very important in managing terminal cancer patients and there are several modalities to alleviate their pain. A high dosage of epidural morphine is effective to control terminal cancer pain. Furthermore, to decrease the amount of morphine, adding an alternative adjuvant like ketamine to the morphine regimen is considered helpful for controlling the pain of a terminal cancer patient. A 45 year old male patient with terminal lung cancer had neck pain that was caused by multiple bone metastases. Continuous epidural block was started with 2 mg/day of morphine and the dosage was gradually increased to 90 mg/day in 86 days. 30 mg/day of ketamine was then added to it. Overall, the morphine and ketamine dosages were increased to 564 mg/day and 140 mg/day, respectively, in 11 months until the patient expired. In this case, the high dosage of epidural morphine, 580 mg/day, was administered to control cancer pain without any severe adverse effects.

2단 적재차량의 컨테이너 이송능력 분석 (Performance evaluation of double stack vehicle at container terminal)

  • 본 연구에서는 수직블록배치형의 자동화 컨테이너 터미널을 대상으로 컨테이너 운반작업을 담당하는 2가지 유형의 이송장비인 무인이송차량(AGV)과 2단 적재차량(DSV)에 대한 이송능력을 분석하였다. AGV와 DSV의 주요 차이점은 안벽과 야드간의 컨테이너 운반시 적재용량이다. 기존의 자동화 터미널에 적용되고 있는 AGV은 20피트 컨테이너 2개 또는 40피트 컨테이너 1개의 적재용량을 가지지만, DSV는 20피트 컨테이너 4개 또는 40피트 컨테이너 2개를 동시에 적재할 수 있어 터미널 하역시스템의 효율성을 높일 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 이에, 본 연구에서는 컨테이너 터미널의 이송장비 대한 처리능력을 분석할 수 있는 시뮬레이션 분석도구를 개발하여 이를 토대로 2가지 유형의 장비인 AGV와 DSV의 이송능력을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과로 실험대상 예제와 장비 생산성값이 제시되었다.

다중모드 SDR 단말을 위한 동적 컴포넌트 재구성 알고리즘 연구 (A Study on the Dynamic Reconfiguration Algorithm of Components for Multi-mode SDR Terminal)

  • 본 논문에서는 WiMAX 와 HSDPA 모드를 모두 지원하는 SCA 기반 다중모드 SDR 단말의 컴포넌트를 설계하고 블럭도를 제시하였으며, 실제 실험을 통한 경량화 대상 분석을 통해 SDR 단말 구현 시 어느 구성요소를 경량화해야 하는 지 분석해 보았다. 또한, 컴포넌트 재구성 분석을 통하여 동적 재구성 전체 시간 측정을 위한 일반 식을 도출하였고, 분석 결과를 토대로 SCA 규격의 인터페이스와 수행절차를 위배하지 않는 범위 안에서 총 22단계에 걸친 컴포넌트 레벨 동적 재구성 알고리즘을 설계하였다.
