강선의 전기적 임피던스와 응력, 온도 및 주파수 사이의 실험적 관계 (Experimental Relationship between Electrical Impedance of a Steel Wire and Applied Stress, Temperature, and Excited Frequency)

  • 이 논문은 인장 응력, 주변 온도 및 인가 주파수에 대한 강선의 전기적 임피던스 민감도에 관한 실험적 조사이다. 다양한 응력 수준 및 온도에 대해서, 강선의 전기적 임피던스가 자가진단 시스템에서 측정되었다. 세 가지 경우의 실험이 다양한 온도 조건, 응력 수준 및 적용 주파수에 대해서 수행되었다. 주어진 주파수에서 온도가 상승하고 응력이 감소하면 강선의 전기 임피던스가 증가한다. 실험 결과는 전기적 임피던스와 온도 사이의 상관관계가 모든 응력 수준에서 선형 관계임을 보여준다. 온도에 대한 임피던스의 감도는 응력보다 훨씬 높다는 점이 주목 된다.

金型의 모서리부 形狀이 熱應力分布에 미치는 影響 (The effect of corner shape in the casting mould on thermal stresses distribution)

  • In this study thermal stress generated in three ingot moulds(GC25) during the solidification process of aluminum were analyzed by the two-dimensional thermo-elasto-plastic theory. In temperature analysis, all of the three models are shown steep temperature rising each case in initial stage of cooling. In thermal stress analysis, all of three models took compressible stress on inside wall of the mould, and tensible along with on out side. Model 2 take place less compressible, tensible stress then model 1. But model 3. have similar as thermal stress as model 2. The analysis will made one possible to calculate an optimum mould shape whose thermal stress gradient becomes minimum.

  • The present study is concerned with the thermoelastic interactions in a two dimensional axisymmetric problem in transversely isotropic thermoelastic solid using new modified couple stress theory without energy dissipation and with two temperatures. The Laplace and Hankel transforms have been employed to find the general solution to the field equations. Concentrated normal force, normal force over the circular region, concentrated thermal source and thermal source over the circular region have been taken to illustrate the application of the approach. The components of displacements, stress, couple stress and conductive temperature distribution are obtained in the transformed domain. The resulting quantities are obtained in the physical domain by using numerical inversion technique. The effect of two temperature varying by taking different values for the two temperature on the components of normal stress, tangential stress, conductive temperature and couple stress are depicted graphically.

  • In this study, CT specimens were prepared from spring steel(SUP9) processed shot peening which was room temperature, low temperature and high temperature experiment. And we got the following characteristics from fatigue crack growth test carried out in the environment of room, and high temperature at $25^{\circ}C,\; 50^{\circ}C, \;100^{\circ}C,\; 150^{\circ}C,\; and\; 180^{\circ}C$ in the range of stress ratio of 0.05 by means of opening mode displacement. The threshold stress intensity factor range $\DeltaK_{th}$ in the early stage of fatigue crack growth (Region I ) and stress intensity factor range $\Delta$K in the stable of fatigue crack growth (Region II) was decreased in proportion to descend temperature. It assumed that the fatigue resistance characteristics and fracture strength at low temperature and high temperature is considerable higher than that of room temperature in the early stage and stable of fatigue crack growth region.

SUP9강의 저온피로크랙 전파특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fatigue Crack Propagation Characteristics for SUP9 Steel at Low Temperature)

We got the following characteristics from fatigue crack growth test carried out in the environment of room temperature and low temperature at $25^{\circ}C$, ­3$0^{\circ}C$, ­5$0^{\circ}C$, ­7$0^{\circ}C$ and ­10$0^{\circ}C$ in the range of stress ratio of 0.05 by means of opening mode displacement.   • 기상이변으로 인한 식물 스트레스를 평가하기 위해 토양과 식물에 적용할 수 있는 여러 센서가 개발되었다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 식물의 온도 스트레스를 평가하기 위해 다양한 센서를 사용하여 기후 및 토양 상태와 식물 반응을 모니터링하는 것이다. 식물 반응을 평가하기 위한 식물 센서로 식물 줄기의 전기전도도, sap flow rate를 모니터링하였다. 식물 줄기의 전기전도도는 물과 이온 수송을 포함한 식물의 생리적 활성을 반영한다. 완전히 자란 Brassica oleracea var. italica를 온도 20/15 ℃ (낮/밤), 16시간 광주기로 하여 대조구로 설정하였으며 저온 15/10 ℃ 및 고온 35/30 ℃에 노출시키면서 토양 및 식물 상태를 모니터링하였다. 식물 줄기의 전기전도도, sap flow rate는 낮에는 증가하고 밤에는 감소하였다. 저온 스트레스 하에서 Brassica oleracea var. italica 줄기의 전기전도도는 대조구보다 낮았고, 고온 스트레스 하에서는 대조구보다 높아 물과 이온 수송이 온도에 의해 영향을 받았음을 나타낸다. 그러나 엽록소 a와 b 함량은 저온 스트레스를 받은 잎에서 증가했고 고온 스트레스를 받은 잎에서는 대조구와 차이가 없었다. 잎의 프롤린 함량은 저온 스트레스에서는 대조구와 차이가 없는 반면, 고온 스트레스에서는 증가했다. 프롤린 합성은 환경 스트레스 하에서 식물의 방어 메커니즘으로 작용한다. 따라서 Brassica oleracea var. Italica는 저온보다 고온 스트레스에 더 민감한 것으로 판단된다.

  • The purpose of this study is to predict the behavior of fatigue crack propagation as one of fracture mechanics on the compressive residual stress. We got the following characteristics from fatigue crack growth test carried out in the environment of room temperature and low temperature at $25^{\circ}C$, -6$0^{\circ}C$, -8$0^{\circ}C$, and -10$0^{\circ}C$ in the range of stress ratio of 0.3 by means of opening mode displacement. There is a difference between shot peened specimen and unpeened specimen. Fatigue crack growth rate of shot peened specimen was lower than that of unpeened specimen. Shot peening is improve the resistance of crack growth by fatigue that make a compressive residual stress on surface. That is the constrained force about plasticity deformation was strengthened by resultant stress, which resulted from plasticity deformation and compressive residual stress in the process of fatigue crack propagation. Temperature goes down, fatigue crack growth rate decreased.

유한요소법을 이용한 브레이크 드럼의 열응력 해석 (Thermal Stress Analysis of Brake Drum by Using Finite Element Analysis)

  • Nonlinear transient analysis is executed to obtain the temperature distribution, and to evaluate the thermal stress of brake drum by using FEA(finite element analysis). The result induces the reason why hair crack and the cause of drum failure occurs and the way how stress of drum decreases. The temperature of drum is in proportion to the drum thickness and it processes nonlinear changes at every points of drum. The higher bulk temperature raises, the more stress difference between inner surface and outer surface makes and the highest bulk temperature is at the corner section. It is necessary for the diminishment of the drum stress to make air flow, between drum and rim, move lively and use the materials of higher conductivity. The hair crack and the cause of drum failure seem to be started at the near corner section.

  • In this paper, analysis of temperature and stress distributions in the roll for a twin roll continuous casting process was carried out. Firstly, several state equations were set up to determine the temperature distribution in the roll using finite difference method. Secondly, thermal stress in the roll was calculated numerically. Also, stress distribution due to the roll pressure was calculated to determine the effect of the roll pressure. For analysis of temperature distributions and the stress states of the roll, there are three kinds of roll materials, 2ICrMoV5. 11, CuCo/NiBe, CuCrZr and three types of cooling system were used.
