자동차용 연소식 프리히터의 온도제어를 위한 퍼지 제어기 설계 (Fuzzy Controller design of fuel fired heater for vehicle to control temperature)

  • 본 논문은 버스에 사용되는 연소식 프리히터(Fuel Fired Heater) 퍼지 제어기(Fuzzy controller)를 설계하였다. 프리 히터는 얼마나 빠른 시간 안에 설정한 온도에 다다르는지와 공간내의 온도 편차가 얼마나 작게 발생하는지의 두 가지가 가장 중요한 요소이다. 기존의 연소식 프리히터의 온도 제어 방식으로 사용된 PI 제어기의 온도편차를 줄임과 동시에 응답특성을 개선한 퍼지 제어기를 설계하여 그 성능을 평가하였다. 설계된 퍼지 제어기에서 온도를 설정하면 기존의 PI 제어방식에서는 $25^{\circ}C$의 도달시간이 12분 소요되었으나 퍼지 제어방식에서는 9분 20초 소요되어 기존의 제어기보다 퍼지제어기가 2분 40초의 빠른 응답 성능으로 향상됨을 확인하였다. 난방의 온도 편차에서도 기존의 PI 제어 방식에서는 $2.4^{\circ}C$의 편차를 보인 반면 설계된 퍼지 제어기에서는 $1.6^{\circ}C$로 온도 편차 또한 개선되었음을 확인하였다.

  • This paper presents the development of a controller that can control the temperature of an heating system based on a thermoelectric module. Temperature controller using Peltier has various external factors such as external temperature, characteristics of an aluminum plate, installation location of temperature sensors, and combination method between the aluminum plate and heating element. Therefore, it is difficult to apply the simulation and simulation results of heating system using Peltier at control algorithm. In general, almost temperature controller is using PID algorithm that finds control gain value heuristically. In this paper, it is proposed mathematical model that explain correlate between the temperature of the heating system and input voltage. And then, optimal parameter of estimated thermal model of the aluminum plate are searched by using genetic algorithm. In addition, based on this estimated model, the optimal PID control gain are inferred using a genetic algorithm. All of the sequence are simulated and verified with proposed real system.

  • 본 연구에서는 하나의 제어보드로 여러 대의 제어 시스템을 동시에 제어 가능하도록 하는 다중채널 제어기능을 갖는 오토튜닝 온도제어기를 설계하고 구현한다. 제어기 보드는 다중채널 입력 및 출력 기능을 가지고 있으며, 여러 개의 제어 알고리듬이 서로 독립적이지만 동시에 동작하는 멀티채널 제어기이다. 먼저 다중채널 제어기능을 갖는 온도제어기 설계방법을 나타내고. 이를 구현하는 센서입력부 회로, 제어신호 출력부 회로, 파워제어부 회로 등의 하드웨어 회로를 설계한다. 또한 다중채널 온도 제어기의 성능을 모니터링 하기 위하여 온도 제어 출력신호의 직렬 통신 데이터 프로토콜을 설계하고, 구현된 다채널 온도제어기의 실제 시험을 통한 성능을 평가한다.

밸브제어기용 전력선 통신 모뎀을 이용한 에너지 절약형 난방제어 시스템 (Energy Saving Heating Control System Using the Power Line Communication Modem for a Valve Controller)

  • In a heating control system, the indoor temperature controller transfers temperature signals inputted from the temperature sensor and the user to the valve controller. The valve controller receives these signals then the valve controller controls the valve driving motor on two position control and controls the indoor temperature. When setting up a new valve driving motor from a long distance it is necessary to set up a new valve controller. But occasionary, due to construction, It is impossible to wire between the existing valve controller and the new valve controller. In this situation, the new and existing valve controllers can communicate via power line communication. In this paper it is proposed heating control system controls on two position control via power line communication.

  • In this paper, a temperature controller with monitor function is proposed for the electric furnace system. This controller includes holding and ramp control function, and the control program for the temperature process monitor of the electric furnace. For this purpose, the implementation and performance of auto tuning algorithms in a computer-based controller was studied in relation to the control of nonlinear electric furnace system which is characterized with large delay time. The control program for this controller programmed by c-language. To communicate a control and detection signals, between the controller and the electric furnace is implemented by the I/O data card. We apply the temperature controller to the practical electric furnace. As a result, the proposed controller shows the better status characteristic.

  • 본 논문에서는 열전소자를 이용한 온도 환경 시험기에 적용할 수 있는 퍼지제어기를 개발하였다. 온도환경 시험기에 퍼지제어기를 구현하기 위해 마이컴기반의 온도제어시스템을 제작하였다. 안정적인 온도 유지 및 온도 변화 속도를 향상시키기 위하여 퍼지제어기를 내장한 온도환경 시험기를 개발하였다. 제안한 방법의 유용성을 입증하기 위하여, 일반적으로 널리 사용되고 있는 비례-적분-미분 제어기와 비교하였다. 실험결과 제안한 퍼지제어기가 기존의 비례-적분-미분 제어기보다 상승시간, 오버슈트 면에서 좋은 제어성능을 보임을 알 수 있었다.

  • This paper describes the design and implementation of a fuzzy temperature control system to control the water temperature in plant. For evaluating the performance of a fuzzy controller, the experiment results of a fuzzy controller are compared with these of a conventional PID controller which provides an auto-tuning function. The experiment results show that the proposed controller has a good control performance and is robust to external disturbance.

PI 제어기의 입력제한을 이용한 사출 성형기 온도제어 (Temperature Control of Injection Molding Machine using PI Controller with Input Restriction)

  • Injection molding is the most common method of shaping plastic resins for manufacturing a variety of parts. This injection molding is accomplished by injection molding machines (IMM) which consists of a hewer, a reciprocating screw, barrel assembly, and an injection nozzle. The plastic resin is fed to the machine through the hopper and it should be heated to the target melting temperature, which depends on material properties, as closely as possible with very small temperature overshoot in the barrel. Since the barrel, which has temperature dependent specific heat and thermal conductivity in the operating temperature range, is heated by the several electric heater bands, it is not an easy task to control the temperature of the barrel owing to the interference of neighboring heaters and its material properties. Though PID controller with auto-tuning capability is widely adopted in the nm, the auto-tuning process should be carried out whenever the operating temperature is changed significantly. Recently, though the predictive controller is developed and shows good performance, it has drawbacks: 1. Since the heat transfer modeling process is very complicated and should be carried out again when the barrel is changed, it is somewhat inappropriate in the field. 2. The controller performance is not validated in whole operating temperature range. In this paper, cascade type simple PI controller with input restriction is proposed to find the possibility of controlling the barrel temperature in the whole operating temperature range. It is shown by experiment that the proposed controller shows good performance. This result can be applied to design of PI controller with auto-tuning capability.

  • In this paper, uncertain parameters of the heat transfer model of a Dynamically Tuned Gyroscope (DTG) are estimated by the Recursive Least Squares (RLS) method. Also, using this model, a temperature controller for a DTG is designed. As the temperature controller, a PI controller is used. It is presented that a controller can be easily designed when the heat transfer model of a DTG is used. By simulations and experiments, it is shown that the estimated heat transfer model is appropriate and the desired performance of the temperature controller is satisfied.
