Background: In this study, we investigated how to convert the Panax ginseng DNA sequence code and chemical fingerprints into a two-dimensional code. In order to improve the compression efficiency, GATC2Bytes and digital merger compression algorithms are proposed. Methods: HPLC chemical fingerprint data of 10 groups of P. ginseng from Northeast China and the internal transcribed spacer 2 (ITS2) sequence code as the DNA sequence code were ready for conversion. In order to convert such data into a two-dimensional code, the following six steps were performed: First, the chemical fingerprint characteristic data sets were obtained through the inflection filtering algorithm. Second, precompression processing of such data sets is undertaken. Third, precompression processing was undertaken with the P. ginseng DNA (ITS2) sequence codes. Fourth, the precompressed chemical fingerprint data and the DNA (ITS2) sequence code were combined in accordance with the set data format. Such combined data can be compressed by Zlib, an open source data compression algorithm. Finally, the compressed data generated a two-dimensional code called a quick response code (QR code). Results: Through the abovementioned converting process, it can be found that the number of bytes needed for storing P. ginseng chemical fingerprints and its DNA (ITS2) sequence code can be greatly reduced. After GTCA2Bytes algorithm processing, the ITS2 compression rate reaches 75% and the chemical fingerprint compression rate exceeds 99.65% via filtration and digital merger compression algorithm processing. Therefore, the overall compression ratio even exceeds 99.36%. The capacity of the formed QR code is around 0.5k, which can easily and successfully be read and identified by any smartphone. Conclusion: P. ginseng chemical fingerprints and its DNA (ITS2) sequence code can form a QR code after data processing, and therefore the QR code can be a perfect carrier of the authenticity and quality of P. ginseng information. This study provides a theoretical basis for the development of a quality traceability system of traditional Chinese medicine based on a two-dimensional code.
Background: Exploring the pharmacokinetic (PK) changes of various active components of single herbs and their combinations is necessary to elucidate the compatibility mechanism. However, the lack of chemical standards and low concentrations of multiple active ingredients in the biological matrix restrict PK studies. Methods: A putative multiple reaction monitoring strategy based on liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (LC-MS) was developed to extend the PK scopes of quantification without resorting to the use of chemical standards. First, the compounds studied, including components with available reference standard (ARS) and components lacking reference standard (LRS), were preclassified to several groups according to their chemical structures. Herb decoctions were then subjected to ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry analysis with appropriate collision energy (CE) in MS2 mode. Finally, multiple reaction monitoring transitions transformed from MS2 of ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry were used for ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography coupled with triple quadrupole mass spectrometry to obtain the mass responses of LRS components. LRS components quantification was further performed by developing an assistive group-dependent semiquantitative method. Results: The developed method was exemplified by the comparative PK process of single herbs Radix Ginseng (RG), Radix Polygala (RP), and their combinations (RG-RP). Significant changes in PK parameters were observed before and after combination. Conclusion: Results indicated that Traditional Chinese Medicine combinations can produce synergistic effects and diminish possible toxic effects, thereby reflecting the advantages of compatibility. The proposed strategy can solve the quantitative problem of LRS and extend the scopes of PK studies.

The rapid development of the current information and communication brings big changes and progress in the health service delivery system. And it is becoming the worldwide trend increasingly. As the name of medical information, by more rapid, detail and more quickly to the patients and diagnosis of the disease it provides not only a high level of health care services but also hospitals and related institutions are making increase the efficiency of the work. Among them, the Telemedicine, that system has many advantage which can expect the shorten the waiting time and the uniform high level of medical, etc. without visiting medical institutions. Especially, the most advantage is it can increase the accessibility of information about extensive medical, without regard to the time and place. But this is the reality, which compared speed the development of modern science and technology with lack of operational regulations and mindset. Current in our Medical Law, it regulates the Telemedicine, but it has Institutional, facility, and environmental constraints. Because, there is no detailed legal relationship. And it takes that in terms of a special form called by a non-face-to-face contact with medical practice rather than the scene. Therefore, in this paper will find a way out to activate the Telemedicine by presupposes the development potential is infinite and find the legal issues and improvements.
The silicon-germanium (SiGe) alloy, which is compatible with silicon semiconductor technology and has a smaller band gap and a lower thermal conductivity than silicon, has been used to fabricate electronic devices such as transistors, photodetectors, solar cells, and thermoelectric devices. This paper reviews the application of SiGe alloys to electronic devices and related technical issues. Since the SiGe alloy comprises germanium whose band gap is smaller than silicon, its band gap is also smaller than that of silicon irrespective of the ratio of silicon to germanium. This narrow band gap of SiGe enables the base thickness of bipolar transistors to decrease without a loss in current gain so that it is possible to improve the speed of bipolar transistors by adopting the SiGe-base. In addition, the conversion efficiency of solar cells is enhanced by the absorption of long-wavelength light in the SiGe absorption layer. Phonon scattering caused by the irregular distribution of alloying elements induces the lower thermal conductivity of SiGe than those of pure silicon and germanium. Because a thin film layer with a low thermal conductivity suppresses thermal conduction through a thermal sink, the SiGe alloy is considered to be a promising material for silicon-based thermoelectric systems.
In this study, to build a spatial information infrastructure, which is a component of a smart city, a 3D digital twin model in the downtown area was built based on the latest spatial information acquisition technology, the drone. Several analysis models were implemented by utilizing. While the data processing time and quality of the three types of drone photogrammetry software are different, the accuracy of the construction model is ± 0.04 in the N direction and ± 0.03m in the E direction. In the m and Z directions, ± 0.02m was found to be less than 0.1m, which is defined as the allowable range of surveying performance and inspection performance for the boundary point in the area where the registration of the boundary point registration is executed. 1: 500 to 1 of the aerial survey work regulation: The standard deviation, which is the error limit of the photographic reference point of the 600 scale, appeared within 0.14 cm, and it was found that the error limit of the large scale specified in the cadastral and aerial survey was satisfied. In addition, in order to increase the usability of smart city realization using a drone-based 3D urban digital twin model, the model built in this study was used to implement Prospect right analysis, landscape analysis, Right of light analysis, patrol route analysis, and fire suppression simulation training. Compared to the existing aerial photographic survey method, it was judged that the accuracy of the naked eye reading point is more accurate (about 10cm) than the existing aerial photographic survey, and it is possible to reduce the construction cost compared to the existing aerial photographic survey at a construction area of about 30㎢ or less.
Effects of roasting on physical (weight, volume, density and color) and chemical properties (total phenol, caffeine, chlorogenic acid and antioxidant properties) of three Arabica coffee beans (Brazil Bourbon, Indonesia Mandheling and Kenya Tatu) were investigated. A steady weight loss, volume increase, and bean density decrease were observed during the roasting process. The $L^*$, $a^*$, and $b^*$ values tended to decrease as the roasting temperature and time increased. Caffeine level was approximately 0.73% in green beans, and increased to 40-67% for darker roasts. Green beans contained the highest chlorogenic acid content, which decreased as the roasting temperature and time increased. The light- and medium-roasted coffee showed the highest total phenolol contents. The antioxidant activities were measured using DPPH and ABTS. The light-roasted coffee beans showed the highest antioxidant activities, and an approximately 36-51% loss in antioxidant activity was observed after further roasting. The flavor patterns of roasted coffee beans were analyzed using an electronic nose system based on gas chromatography. This analysis demonstrated that an electronic nose system can be applied to identify the green bean variety and the degree of roasting.
This study examined the effects of estrogen, progesterone and tamoxifen at different concentrations and treatment periods on proliferation of a human cervical carcinoma cell line, HeLa, in culture, based on MTT assay. Estrogen did not have an effect on the cellular proliferation in concentrations up to $1{\mu}g$/ml for treatment periods of between 2.5 and 6 days, but significantly inhibited proliferation at a higher concentration of $10{\mu}g$/ml in a progressive manner with increasing treatment periods. Also, treatment of HeLa with more than $10{\mu}g$/ml of progesterone for 2.5 days significantly inhibited proliferation and caused a concentration-dependent inhibition with 4 days of treatment. However, longer treatment with progesterone for 6 days abolished the concentration-dependent inhibitory effect on cellular proliferation observed with the 4-day treatment period. Furthermore, tamoxifen required a higher concentration ($100{\mu}g$/ml) than estrogen to bring about the inhibitory effect on the HeLa proliferation. These results suggest that high concentrations of estrogen, progesterone and tamoxifen may suppress proliferation of HeLa, and both the concentration and the treatment period may also influence their inhibitory effects on cellular proliferation.
In vivo studies of KR-31125 (2-butyl-5-dimethoxymethyl-6-phenyl-7-methyl-3-[[2'-(1H-tetrazol-5-yl) biphenyl-4-yl]methyl]-3H-imidazo[4,5-b]pyridine) were performed in pithed rats, conscious angiotensin II (AII) challenged normotensive rats, renal hypertensive rats (RHRs) and furosemide-treated beagle dogs. KR-31125 induced a non-parallel right shift in the dose-pressor response curve to AII ($ID_{50}$: 0.095 mg/kg) with a dose-dependent reduction in the maximum responses in pithed rats. Compared to losartan, this antagonistic effect was about 18 times more potent, presenting competitive antagonism. Other agonists such as norepinephrine and vasopressin did not alter the responses induced by KR-31125. Orally administered KR-31125 had no agonistic effect and dose-dependently inhibited the pressor response to AII with a slightly weaker potency ($ID_{50}$: 0.25 and 0.47 mg/kg, respectively) in the AII-challenged normotensive rat model, but with a more rapid onset of action than losartan (time to $E_{max}$: 30 min for KR-31125 and 6 hr for losartan). KR-31125 produced a dose-dependent antihypertensive effect with a higher potency than losartan in RHRs, and these effects were confirmed in furosemide-treated dogs where they presented a dose-dependent and long-lasting (>8 hr) antihypertensive effect with a rapid onset of action (time to $E_{max}$: 2-4 hr), as well as a 20-fold greater potency than losartan. These results suggest that KR-31125 is a potent, orally active $AT_1$ receptor antagonist that can be applied to the development of new diagnostic and research tools as an added exploratory potential of $AT_1$ receptor antagonist.

The objective of this work was to evaluate a solid-state fermentation process for the practical production of arachidonic acid(AA) by Mortierella alpina ATCC 32222. In the present investigation, batch culture kinetics for both submerged- and solid-state fermentations was carried out at $25^{\circ}C$ to identify the relationship between growth and arachidonic acid (AA) production. Glucose and yeast extract were used in submerged fermentations by using flasks, while rice bran was used as a sole raw material in the other type of fermentations by using a series of Petri dishes. It was evident that a mixed-growth associated pattern existed between the two variables, irrespective of modes of fermentations. The effect of carbon to nitrogen (CfN) ratio on AA production in solid-state fermentation was studied in the range of 6.5 - 20. As a result, an optimum condition was found to be 6.5. Supplementary carbon source was not necessary to meet the optimum C/N ratio. Unlike the Previous results obtained by other researchers, a supplement of sodium glutamate up to $4\%$ (w/w) to the rice bran medium did not have a positive effect on the AA productivity. However, an increase in AA productivity was obtained with the rice bran medium supplemented with sesame oil.
Polydiacetylene(PDA)-based sensors possess a number of properties that can be successfully applied for label-free detection system. PDA is one of the most attractive color-generating materials, with growing applications as sensors. Here we introduce various PDA-based devices, used as biosensor, chemosensor, thermosensor, and optoelectronics sensor. In general, PDA liposomes and films are closely packed and properly designed for polymerization via 1,4-addition reaction to form an ene-yne alternating polymer chain. PDA-based two/three dimensional structures have been used for colorimetric or fluorescent devices, sensing biological as well as chemical components. This color-generating material also present a very high charge carrier mobility, allowing its application as field-effect transistor (FET). The immobilized PDA structures or films have distinct advantages for the detection of low concentration target molecules over the aqueous solution-based detection systems. In the present review, reported detection methods by using various PDA structures are summarized with updated references.
