The aim of the present study is to analyze the present state and evolution of scientific research with regard to the scientific production generated on Facebook. Good analysis proves challenging due to the large number of publications about the topic. That is why we concentrate on Scopus as the information service with the highest coverage on this topic. We performed a bibliometric analysis on Facebook-related research from 2005 to 2016. We identified publication output, subject areas, journals, and countries in order to assess the publication trends and research hotspots in this field. Moreover, an author network graph and a geo map were applied to visualize some research trends. These results provide a basis for better understanding of the development of global Facebook research.

At present, FSW(friction stir welding) process is being considered as an actual way for production of various industrial products. However FSW process involves high temperature and load on the tool during welding. These are make a difference between FSW machine and general machine tools. From this reason, development of FSW machine needs very careful consideration on stiffness of machine structure, spindle and moving axis including machine control system. In this study authors investigate on the trends of technology development of FSW machine in order to share the information for more extension of FSW technology with related researchers and engineers.

Parkinson's Disease (PD) is one of the three major old-age onset neurodegenerative diseases, its incidence rate is increasing worldwide as being an aging society. The number of PD patients has increased from 3 million in 1990 to 6.2 million in 2015 and is expected to increase to 12.4 million by 2040. Although many therapeutic candidates have been under development, but not yet been suggested the therapeutics of PD. For analyzing the trends and the status of convergence of technologies in the PD therapeutics, we classified into six sub-categories using global patent information and analyzed the level of technical competitiveness and technology convergence according to year, country, applicant, and technical description. These results can be used as a fundamental understanding for the current technical trend and the status of convergence of PD therapeutics, and establish the direction and strategy of R&D.

Information-Centric Networking (ICN) has been recognized as a new networking technology for the upcoming data-centric 4th industrial revolution based society. In addition, it has noted that Pub/Sub-style communication is rapidly growing in areas including big data processing and microservice as well as the existing Internet of Things and social networking technologies. Therefore, ICN is highly needed to efficiently support Pub/Sub-style communication for successful deployment as a next-generation network infrastructure technology. This paper summarizes the recent research trends of Pub/Sub communication technologies over ICN, and discusses future research issues.

Thanks to China's economic development, the food service industry and franchise industry have combined to serve a huge market, and alterations continue to take place, such as the changing tastes of Chinese people and the changing food culture. Global franchise companies centered in the US are rapidly making inroads into the market, and Chinese local companies are also making efforts to expand their influence. In particular, in this situation where trends are gradually changing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we look at the trends of franchise headquarters, franchisees, employment, and operating profits for the past 10 years using information published by the National Statistical Office of China. As we examine the information, possibilities push through. In addition, we will look at the cases of domestic companies that have entered China, the conditions and plans for their activities there, and what companies planning to enter China in the future need to prepare for.

Trade rules in service and digital sectors mainly focus on reducing regulatory uncertainties by improving transparency and minimizing unnecessary requirements. Recognizing the importance of digital trade rules and trade in information and communication technology (ICT) sectors, governments worldwide have rapidly adopted and expanded rules on free flow of data, personal data protection, electronic authentication, and cybersecurity. On the other hand, advances in technology have led governments to face multiple threats related to cybersecurity, intellectual property (including that related to source code and algorithms), and unauthorized access to proprietary information of their suppliers. This study presents digital trade rules related to digital security emphasizing cybersecurity, source code, and ICT products that use cryptography in different trade agreements. Additionally, it introduces various approaches that major countries are taking to both address digital security issues and seek balance between security enhancement and trade liberalization.

We have been provided with a plenty of information about IT through the conferences. However, it is hard to find enough information or the latest trends from conferences because there are too many conferences. In this situation, we analyzed the latest trends related to the field of IT by exploiting the Netminer which is one of the software for analysis of social networks and measuring the Cosine Similarity between conferences, based upon keywords which are included in the conferences. We analyzed keywords of 24 conferences related to the computer network part of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) in the case of foreign conferences. We also analyze keywords of the KIISE (Korean Institute of Information Scientists and Engineers) conferences in the case of domestic conferences, during 2009-2010. We identified the trends through the frequency of keywords, the change of top 10 keywords ranking and the similarity between conferences.

In this paper. the research issues and trends are analysed by reviewing the journal of the Korea Society of IT Services which published from Dec. 2002 to Jun. 2010. The 306 papers which published were included in this project. The quantitative analyses were implemented about the volume of papers and researchers. The papers are categorized as project management. service science, service computing and IT technology, software engineering, solution, outsourcing management. element technology and methodology, strategy and management. policy, laws, and systems related IT services. Specially the qualitative analyses were implemented about research issues and trends through the content analysis about the paper details, abstract and key words described. We can find the more case of the theoretical study on the areas of the strategy and management, policy, laws, and systems, also the practical study on the service computing and IT technology, and solution area than the other areas. In this research, finally, the author can suggest that the integrated control be required to editing board for the effective classification of subjected paper candidate. Also the evaluation methodology such us experiment, performance comparative, should be adopted for the theoretical or practical study because the academic research requires the more scientific research methodology.
