중소기업 경쟁력 향상을 위한 기술혁신 및 원가관리가 생산성에 미치는 영향 : 선박엔진 부품제조업체를 중심으로 (The Influences of Technological Innovation and Cost Management for Elevation of Small Enterprise Competitiveness on Productivity : Focused on Marine Engine Suppliers)

  • The purpose of this study is to figure out the impacts of technological innovation and cost management on productivity in small shipping industries to come up with developmental implications. To achieve this, a survey was carried out to 150 workers in small shipbuilding industries through April 2 to April 20, 2012. As for findings stated above, technological innovation and cost management in the Korean small shipbuilding industries were key factors that elevate financial and non-financial productivity. In the light of low technological prowess and cost structure of small shipbuilding industries, their productivity can be improved when intensive cost management with production factor technology as know-how is realized through quality management, which product development technology is the top priority as an independent niche strategy. Consequently, the combination of infrastructures in small shipbuilding industries with continuous efforts for cost reduction by the link to the systematized structure can't only secure their independent competitiveness, but raise their productivity.

  • We propose a composite make or buy decision model considering both the transaction cost theory and the resource based view in the Korean defense industry using System Dynamics. We analyze relationship between core variables(transaction frequency, technological uncertainty, the level of technological dependency, technological level and acquisition ability for market information) and 'Make or Buy decision' focused on technological innovation capability. Based on the result, we propose the implications as follows : First, the defence industry needs more R&D investment. Second, it needs a balance between domestic(Make) and overseas(Buy) to increase the technological capability rapidly.

Direct Position Determination of Coherently Distributed Sources based on Compressed Sensing with a Moving Nested Array

  • The existing direct position determinations(DPD) for coherently distributed(CD) sources are mostly applicable for uniform linear array(ULA), which result in a low degree of freedom(DOF), and it is difficult for them to realize the effective positioning in underdetermined condition. In this paper, a novel DPD algorithm for coherently distributed sources based on compressed sensing with a moving nested array is present. In this algorithm, the nested array is introduced to DPD firstly, and a positioning model of signal moving station based on nested array is constructed. Owing to the features of coherently distributed sources, the cost function of compressed sensing is established based on vectorization. For the sake of convenience, unconstrained transformation and convex transformation of cost functions are carried out. Finally, the position coordinates of the distribution source signals are obtained according to the theory of optimization. At the same time, the complexity is analyzed, and the simulation results show that, in comparison with two-step positioning algorithms and subspace-based algorithms, the proposed algorithm effectively solves the positioning problem in underdetermined condition with the same physical element number.

  • An integrated superelement concept is proposed to improve the computational efficiency when analyzing structural responses during progressive collapses of large-scale structures, such as multi-storey reinforced concrete buildings. While the proposed methodology is straightforward and can be implemented into an existing finite element program with little effort, it is able to significantly reduce the computational cost without the loss of any critical information of the structural responses. Compared with the models without superelement, significant saving in computational cost and satisfactory prediction accuracy can be obtained with the proposed approach.

시장 거래의 요인으로서 게임엔진의 기술체제와 기술혁신 (Technological regime, innovation of game engine as market transaction factors)

  • 본 연구는 게임엔진 공급자의 기술체제와 기술혁신에 따른 Licensing 전략을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과 게임엔진 공급자의 기술체제가 이질적으로 분화되고, 게임엔진의 기술체제가 이용자 친화적일수록 게임 개발기업(user)의 거래가 증가하였다. 게임엔진 공급자의 Licensing 전략을 결정하는 기술지식 변수로는 엔진 공급자의 기술체제의 이용자 친화성(User Friendliness)이 가장 설명력이 높다. 공급자의 엔진 구조의 모듈화, 게임엔진의 범용성, 암묵적(tacit) 기술지식의 명시화(cordifiablity), 게임엔진의 혁신정도가 클수록 엔진기술지식의 지원역량이 증가되고, 동시에 엔진기술의 거래 비용이 감소함에 따라 불완전한 게임기술시장에서 효율적인 시장거래가 이루어지고 있다.

  • An analysis of the railroad industry for R&D investments has been insufficient whereas there are lots of analysis of accumulation of technology, economic performances and ripple effects for macroscopic view and other industry of R&D investments. This study decided intellectual rights, patent, and paper as common indicators of scientific and technological performances for setting up performance targets through surveying and analysis of preceding study and verified a appropriateness of scientific and technological performances for railroad R&D 11 projects which were successfully finished. Preceding study has been set up performance targets by research investments as input, but this study made a performance target by model through a cross-sectional and residual analysis of performances of railroad R&D 11 Projects in applying research investments, capital investments, inner labor cost and inner labor cost per man and research time as inputs, and verified a validity and a empirical analysis through analysis of other project.

지속가능한 태양광발전시스템의 경제성 분석 (Economic analysis on Sustainable Photovoltaic Systems)

  • This paper analyses the economics of grid-connected photovoltaic systems. With the 2003 cost of photovoltaic systems, under prevailing capital market conditions, with a system lifetime of 30 years, and under the best climatic conditions, it appears that the cost of production of grid-connected electricity could be of 0.21 US $/kWh, and under medium climatic conditions, European locations, Switzerland, Japan and South Korean could be of 0.28$/kWh. If the lifetime if the system goes up, due to future technological improvements, to a very large value such as 50 years, these costs can be lowered by 10-20%. Competitiveness of grid-connected photovoltaic electricity, while it still cannot be taken for granted, is a possibility, especially if major technological advances further lowers the costs of photo cells and increases their lifetimes.

  • Firms prefer in some specific conditions cooperative R&D to non-cooperative for developing technology. Previous studies on the conditions show firms want to choose cost-sharing type of cooperative R&D (the CS-RJV) rather than non-cooperative one when target technology is either 'relatively easy'or 'relatively difficult', and to join multiple-research type of cooperation (the MR-RJV) than to compete each other if technology is only 'relatively easy'. However, by introducing technological spillover as well as difficult of technology, only if there shown that this seemingly contrasted phenomenon almost disappears : the MR-RJV can i3e also preferred by firms even in case of 'relatively difficult'technology only if there exists some extent of a technological spillover.

  • 본 연구는 기술제휴 동기의 주요 이론적 배경인 거래비용이론(TCE)과 자원준거이론(RBV)의 기술제휴 파트너 선정기준, 거버넌스, 성과에 대한 설명력을 분석하였다. 기술제휴의 동기인 TCE와 RBV의 통합 분석 관점에서 기술제휴의 각 단계, 즉 기술 제휴 파트너 선정기준, 거버넌스, 성과에 미치는 영향을 측정하였다. 실증연구 결과, 국내 하이테크(High-Tech) 기업의 기술제휴 파트너 선정 시 TCE 관점과 RBV 관점이 복합적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 거버넌스 유형 선택에는 TCE 관점이 보다 설명력이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 기술제휴의 성과에는 TCE 관점과 RBV 관점모두 관계가 있지만 RBV 관점의 설명력이 다소 큰 것으로 나타났다. 기술제휴 각 단계에 영향을 미치는 양 이론의 세부 변수를 제시하고, 영향을 미치는 원인을 분석하여 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결론에서는 연구결과에 대한 요약과 시사점 및 한계점에 대하여 기술하였다.

  • Technology Analysis is advanced by the development of the analysis of technological information such as technological bibliometric analysis and patent analysis. Also, the advance of technology analysis has led the development of the family of techno-market analysis such as cost-benefit analysis, analysis for new item development, and the valuation of technology and technology business. Technology analysis mostly based on technological information analysis is confronted by new challenges from the development of information science and technology such as text mining.
