A study on Improvement in evaluation method of practical skill test of national technique qualification of Master Craftsman Welding based on NCS (NCS기반 국가기술자격 용접기능장 실기평가 방법 개선에 관한 연구)

  • This paper describes the research aimed at improving the evaluation method of practical exams in a field of welding on a national technical qualification examination based on national competency standards (NCS). In this study, new evaluation methods of practical exams on master craftsman welding reflect the latest welding technique trends and are applied to the ability unit and the fulfillment criteria of the national competency standards. The effects are then verified through an advisory conference and demonstration evaluation. The practical exams on the master craftsman welding in the current welding field were analyzed systematically. In the future, the national technical qualification examination of master crafts welding will be applied after completing the revision of the question standards through an expert group in its duty fields based on this research.

  • Telecommunications provisions of the interior of a country which are established only for a voice service are inefficient in various rule of grounding and bonding that are not concerned with services. It is a essential part for planning out a efficiency when employing telecommunication, researching and writing standards bout grounding and bonding of materials that are established in telecommunication to consider reliability of telecommunication equipment for a wideband and high speed service. Therefore we investigated present conditions and problems of domestic grounding and observed foreign technical standards related to several grounding and bonding. The foreign technical standards are compared with the domestic immature parts. As a result, presenting a domestic technical standards about grounding and bonding fitted to telecommunicateion provision when building is constructed or reconstructed, all parts related to this can be given the efficiency and the generality to provide system which has reliability.

  • It is reported that, admitting some of the Small and Medium Industries in Korea have world-wide up-to-date technology, but technical competitiveness of most of Industries is approximately 43% that of advanced countries. A research has been carried out to evaluate technical competitiveness of the Small and Medium Industries in Kangwon Province based on the objective standards. It is identified that competitiveness of technology is higher in general while capability of technical development is relatively lower.

  • As the European Union has strengthened and computerized signalling systems have been widely used, the European common standards for the safety of railway signalling systems such as EN 50126, EN 50128, ENV 50129, EN 50159 began to be published from 1996 in CENELEC. At that time, a safety guideline, 'Safety Guidelines for Computerized Train Control and Protection Systems' was published in Japan. The Korean National Railroad also published a safety recommendation for the train control systems with taking into account the Korean railway conditions. Now the preparations for IEC/TC9 Standards are well underway and these standards correspond to CENELEC Standards referred above. These movements and activities are to cope with many technical and operational changes and to reflect the globalization trend of railway sectors along with the computerization of signalling devices. In this connection, this paper studies the globaliztion trend in the safety standards for railway signalling systems and discusses the counterplans for the trend.

  • Electric activity of cardiac muscles generates magnetic fields. Magnetocardiography (or MCG) technology, measuring these magnetic signals, can provide useful information for the diagnosis of heart diseases. It is already about 40 years ago that the first measurement of MCG signals was done by D. Cohen using SQUID (superconducting quantum interference device) sensor inside a magnetically shielded room. In the early period of MCG history, bulky point-contact RF-SQUID was used as the magnetic sensor. Thanks to the development of Nb-based Josephson junction technology in mid 1980s and new design of tightly-coupled DC-SQUID, low-noise SQUID sensors could be developed in late 1980s. In around 1990, several groups developed multi-channel MCG systems and started clinical study. However, it is quite recent years that the true usefulness of MCG was verified in clinical practice, for example, in the diagnosis of coronary artery disease. For the practical MCG system, technical elements of MCG system should be optimized in terms of performance, fabrication cost and operation cost. In this review, development history, technical issue, and future development direction of MCG technology are described.

  • The BIM libraries and technical contents in order to develop common technical standards that reflect the contents for a BIM design support should be based. It is essential to redress the technological burden on design office requirements. The technical contents consisted of Material Information, Standard Details and Cost Information are made by system of standard classification. By connecting BIM libraries with each of information including the contents, it derives the consistent BIM data application through the integrated model. In addition, we look forward to introducing and applying BIM more easily through securing common technical contents which remove the pressure of engineering developments of each individual architectural design office and prevent overlapping investments.
