In this paper, behaviors and properties of p-values for goodness-of-fit test are investigated. With some findings on the p-values, we consider some applications to determine sample size of a survey research using the regression equation based on a pilot study data. Regression equations are obtained by the well-known least squared method, and we find that regression lines could be formulated with only two data points, alternatively. For further studies, this works might be extended to t distributions for testing hypotheses about population mean in order to determine sample size of a prospective study. Also similar arguments could be explored for F test statistics.

In this study, we designed the temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) and heat radiation properties of shunt fixed resistors by adjusting the atomic composition of a metal alloy resistor, and fabricated a resistor that satisfied the designed properties. Resistors with similar atomic composition of copper and nickel showed low TCR and excellent shunt fixed resistor properties such as short-time overload, rated load, humidity load, and high temperature load. Finally, we expect that improved sensor accuracy will be obtained in current-distribution-type shunt fixed resistor for IoT sensors by designing the atomic composition of the metal alloy resistor proposed in this work.

China and South Korea have effectively reached a free trade agreement. The deal now faces legal and parliament reviews in the two countries. We need to discuss the recommendations on XML conversion with UN / CEFACT electronic documents. To solve this problem of interworking between these standards, Two kinds of translation rules is proposed for exchanging to UN / CEFACT Tag smoothly. For development and distribution of electronic documents to be conformed to international standards, it is enough to have the role of international activities continue to supply part of the domestic industry and the trends in participation and international standard. Our principal focus is on facilitating national and international transactions, through the simplification and harmonization of processes, procedures and information flows, and so contributing to the growth of global commerce. The agreement with South Korea will be China's ninth bilateral FTA.

The control of the data retention time is a main issue for realizing future high density dynamic random access memory. In this paper, we propose the new implantation scheme by gate-related ion beam shadowing effect and buffer-enhanced $\Delta$ Rp increase using buffered N- implantation with tilt and 4X-rotation that is designed on the basis of the local-field-enhancement model of the tail component. We report an excellent tail improvement of the retention time distribution attributed to the reduction of electric field across the cell junction due to the redistribution of N- concentration which is intentionally caused by Ion Beam Shadowing and Buffering Effect using tilt implantation with 4X-rotation.

It is important to select appropriate antimicrobials for the treatment of infection according to the results of antimicrobial susceptibility tests (ASTs), yet the clinical isolates are sometimes susceptible to antibiotics that are clinically ineffective or this is due to technical error of the ASTs. So, interpretive reading of ASTs is needed and especially for the ${\beta}$-lactams for treating $Enterobacteriacae$. This review describes the interpretive reading of ASTs according to natural antimicrobial resistance and the mechanisms of mechanisms, with giving special attention to the antibiotics phenotypes for $Enterobacteriacae$. Further, as all the diffent tissues have a different antimicrobial concentration for identical antimicrobials, more information is needed on the antimicrobial tissue distribution for the appropriate treatment of infection. This paper proposes some technical approaches for automatic detection of pulmonary nodules in chest X-ray images. We applied threshold technique for the lung field segmentation and extended the lung field by using morphological methods. A template matching technique was employed for automatic detecting nodules in lung area. Genetic algorithm(GA) was used in template matching(TM) to select a matched image from various reference patterns(simulated typical nodules). We eliminated the false-positive candidates by using histograms and contrasts. We used standard databases published by Japanese Society of Radiological Technology (JSRT) for correct results. Also we employ two-dimensional Gaussian distribution for some reference images because the shadow of lung nodules in radiogram generally shows the distributions. Nodules of about 89% were correctly detected by our scheme. The simulation results show that it is an effective method to indicate lesions on chest radiograms.

A voice type Moving Coil Linear Oscillatory Actuator(MC-LOA) has unbalanced magnetic circuit structure. Its asymmetric magnetic flux distribution along the mover directions causes shifting of displacement center to one side. Therefore, this paper analyzes both thrust and displacement characteristics and settles the unbalanced flux problem by performing shape optimization. The propriety of the improved design model has been verified by dynamic analysis based on the coupling of kinetic and electric equations.

This paper presents an accelerated life test of booster pump for home water purifier. The failure analysis shows that decreased flux due to the plastic deformation of bypass spring adjusting pressure is the predominant failure mechanism. An accelerated life test is designed and implemented to estimate the lifetime of the booster pump. Temperature, water pressure and voltage are selected as accelerating variables through the technical review about failure mechanism. It is assumed that the lifetimes of booster pumps follow lognormal distribution and the combination model of temperature and non-thermal stresses holds. The life-stress relationship, acceleration factor, and $B_{10}$ life at design condition are estimated by analyzing the accelerated life test data.

In this paper, the performance of dual-hop multi-relay maximum ratio transmission (MRT) over Rayleigh flat fading channels is studied with both conventional (all relays participate the transmission) and opportunistic (best relay is selected to maximize the received signal-to-noise ratio (SNR)) relaying. Performance analysis starts with the derivation of the probability density function, cumulative distribution function and moment generating function of the SNR. Then, both approximate and asymptotic expressions of symbol error rate (SER) and outage probability are derived for arbitrary numbers of antennas and relays. With the help of asymptotic SER and outage probability, diversity and array gains are obtained. In addition, impact of imperfect channel estimations is investigated and optimum power allocation factors for source and relay are calculated. Our analytical findings are validated by numerical examples which indicate that multi-relay MRT can be a low complexity and reliable option in cooperative networks.
