LCD생산시스템에서 Repair와 Rework을 고려한 수율과 원가 분석 모델 (Relationship Between Yield and Cost Considering Repair and Rework for LCD Manufacturing System)

  • The cost modeling of the LCD manufacturing system with the repair and the rework process is hard to achieve because of it's complex manufacturing process. The technical cost modeling divides each process separately and hierarchically, so it is very useful to calculate the total manufacturing cost of the complex manufacturing system. We applied the method to the complex LCD manufacturing system to obtain more accurate cost model. Yields are the most important control parameters in manufacturing. In this paper, we propose a yield based cost model for the LCD manufacturing system and reveal the relationship between manufacturing yield and cost. Through the model, we can estimate the manufacturing cost on the basis of yields that are control indicators of manufacturing. Some simulations are performed to observe the effects of the yield to the cost, and the results are coincide with the real situation. With the proposed model, we expect to develop some optimization problems for enlarging productivity in the LCD industry.

基于DEA模型的威海渔业生产效率评价研究 (The Evaluation Research of Weihai Fishery Production Efficiency Based on DEA Model)

  • Under the circumstances of China's slower economic growth, the first document ofthe central committee of the CPC continue to focus on "three agricultures" problems, agriculture play a basic role on China's economic. Since 2007, the first document directly stresses the important role of agricultural and fisheries every year. Central Government Working Report of 2015 also stresses that under the new normal of economy, it is important to improve quality and efficiency of agriculture. Agricultural focus going forward will be on improving capacity of competitiveness, innovation and sustainable development.The fishery as an important part of agriculture plays a vital role in the protection of national food security, the prosperity of the rural economy and the optimization of national food structure. However, the situation faced on accelerating the speed of Chinese fisheries is still grim. As an important fishery breeding city in my country, Weihai has achieved remarkable results in the development of fisheries. Based on the input-output indicators of Weihai City from 2010 to 2020, this article uses the DEA model method to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the factors affecting the fishery production efficiency in Weihai City. This paper calculates the two stages of comprehensive efficiency, pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency, and comprehensive compares the two stages. The research results show that: From 2010 to 2020, the average comprehensive technical efficiency of Weihai fishery was 0.928, the average scale efficiency was 0.963, and the average pure technical efficiency was 0.963. The comprehensive technical efficiency of Weihai fishery production showed an upward and downward trend, the pure technical efficiency showed a downward and then upward trend, and the pure technical efficiency showed a fluctuating trend.

Estimating chlorophyll-A concentration in the Caspian Sea from MODIS images using artificial neural networks

  • Nowadays, due to various pollution sources, it is essential for environmental scientists to monitor water quality. Phytoplanktons form the end of the food chain in water bodies and are one of the most important biological indicators in water pollution studies. Chlorophyll-A, a green pigment, is found in all phytoplankton. Chlorophyll-A concentration indicates phytoplankton biomass directly. Therefore, Chlorophyll-A is an indirect indicator of pollutants, including phosphorus and nitrogen, and their refinement and control are important. The present study, Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) satellite images were used to estimate the chlorophyll-A concentration in southern coastal waters in the Caspian Sea. For this purpose, Multi-layer perceptron neural networks (NNs) were applied which contained three and four feed-forward layers. The best three-layer NN has 15 neurons in its hidden layer and the best four-layer one has 5 in each. The three- and four- layer networks both resulted in similar root mean square errors (RMSE), 0.1($\frac{{\mu}g}{l}$), however, the four-layer NNs proved superior in terms of R2 and also required less training data. Accordingly, a four-layer feed-forward NN with 5 neurons in each hidden layer, is the best network structure for estimating Chlorophyll-A concentration in the southern coastal waters of the Caspian Sea.

  • In the present emerging global economy, as the focus is shifted from manufacturing to service sector, the efficiency of service operations is crucial for the county's sustainable growth and development. As one of the fastest growing service sector industries in South Korea, the call center has become an inevitable part of customer service for most companies. Despite of the strategic importance of the call center, there has been no empirical study on the efficiency of call center service operations in the literature. The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the technical efficiency of call center services so as to not only identify the current status of call center service operations, but also suggest ways to improve service operations efficiency. For this purpose, we apply a non-parametric efficiency measurement method, DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis), to domestic call centers in order to compare their relative efficiency. Based on DEA evaluations, we provided specific directions for the inefficient call centers to possibly improve their operation efficiencies. It is expected that the measurement methods suggested in this study can be applied to various issues such as service KS certification, service operations management, and the productivity analysis of service personnel.

일본 조경관련 분야의 성능규정화 대비방안 (Preparatory Applications for Performance-based Regulatory System in Japanese Landscape Architecture Related Fields)

  • WTO/TBT requires that, for technical regulations affecting trade, technical regulatory requirements must be specified where possible in terms of performance rather than design or descriptive characteristics. The movement which made "performance" a keyword in landscape architecture was activated in Japan, one of the leading counties in performance-based regulatory system(PBRS). The Japanese recent movement of systematization activity on performance-based standards and specifications was reviewed and operational applications for performance-based regulatory system in South Korea are summarized as follows: 1. The establishment of performance standards that can be properly evaluated by assessment indicators is necessary in cases when quantitative evaluation is difficult. 2. As a preparation for PBRS, a brief procurement system by technical proposal for the landscape design and construction is necessary. 3. As a preparation for PBRS, activation of an environmental performance evaluation on experimental construction is necessary. 4. As a preparation for PBRS, a certification system of environmental performance on various landscape construction methods is necessary. 5. The Private Finance Initiative Project is the most similar to PBRS therefore, activation of the Private Finance Initiative Project is necessary in landscape architecture projects for park rehabilitation.

Performance of Food Products Distribution During the COVID-19 Pandemic in Indonesia

  • Purpose: This study aims to determine the online shop service performance of fresh food products distribution, consumer motivation, and their relationship during the COVID-19 pandemic. Research design, data, and methodology: A survey was conducted online using Google Forms on 100 consumers of TaniHub application users. Data in the form of scale were analyzed descriptively to explain the service performance and consumer motivation. The service performance consists of technical services and marketing services. Technical service indicators consist of payment, delivery, and products. Meanwhile, the marketing service indicator consists of promotions and prices. The consumer motivation is characterized by reference, actualization, and lifestyle. The relationship between the two was analyzed using Spearman's rank correlation. Results: The most consumers are millennial generation who were active in social media. They are employees with Bachelor's and Master's qualifications and included in the middle economic groups. TaniHub online shop had good technical and fair marketing performance. The motivation of online shop consumers of fresh food products through the TaniHub application was high. Conclusions: The findings discovered a significant relationship between online shop service performance and consumer motivation. It indicates the need for improvement in marketing services, especially promotions, to improve the performance of this e-agribusiness company.

산업군별 온라인 뉴스에 기초한 감성 예측변수를 포함하는 심층 신경망모형에 의한 주가 예측 (Prediction of stock prices using deep neural network models including an emotional predictor based on online news by industrial groups)

  • 본 연구에서는 심층 신경망모형을 사용하여 KOSPI 100의 개별 종목인 기아차 및 신세계의 주가를 예측하였다. 예측변수로는 흔히 사용되었던 기술적 변수들과 함께 온라인 뉴스로부터 도출된 감성변수를 사용하였다. 특히 소셜 네트워크 분석을 활용하여 분류된 산업군에 특화된 감성사전을 구축한 후, 감성분석을 통하여 산업군에 속하는 각 기업들의 감성점수의 평균을 산업군 감성변수로 생성하였다. 여러 예측변수들의 조합으로 이루어진 모형들 중에서 기술적 변수와 산업군의 온라인 뉴스에 기초한 감성변수를 함께 사용하였을 때 우수한 예측력과 수익률을 보여주었다.

기계학습기법에 기반한 국제 유가 예측 모델 (Oil Price Forecasting Based on Machine Learning Techniques)

  • Oil price prediction is an important issue for the regulators of the government and the related industries. When employing the time series techniques for prediction, however, it becomes difficult and challenging since the behavior of the series of oil prices is dominated by quantitatively unexplained irregular external factors, e.g., supply- or demand-side shocks, political conflicts specific to events in the Middle East, and direct or indirect influences from other global economical indices, etc. Identifying and quantifying the relationship between oil price and those external factors may provide more relevant prediction than attempting to unclose the underlying structure of the series itself. Technically, this implies the prediction is to be based on the vectoral data on the degrees of the relationship rather than the series data. This paper proposes a novel method for time series prediction of using Semi-Supervised Learning that was originally designed only for the vector types of data. First, several time series of oil prices and other economical indices are transformed into the multiple dimensional vectors by the various types of technical indicators and the diverse combination of the indicator-specific hyper-parameters. Then, to avoid the curse of dimensionality and redundancy among the dimensions, the wellknown feature extraction techniques, PCA and NLPCA, are employed. With the extracted features, a timepointspecific similarity matrix of oil prices and other economical indices is built and finally, Semi-Supervised Learning generates one-timepoint-ahead prediction. The series of crude oil prices of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) was used to verify the proposed method, and the experiments showed promising results : 0.86 of the average AUC.

활동적 생활환경 조성을 통한 신체활동증진 (Physical activity promotion through active living environments)

  • Objectives: Members of Korean Healthy Cities Partnership(KHCP) has increased rapidly since 2006 and adopted Active Living Environments(ALE) as common theme in 2015. Academic definition and categorization, needs assessment and operational planning for making active living environments were required from KHCP. Methods: Literatures review, survey to members of KHCP, specialist discussion and consultation with members of KHCP have been done from October of 2015 to February of 2016. Results: ALE included humane(social networks), physical and political resources. Three categories and 13 items for ALE were identified. Present actions among member cities were variable and especially immature in physical environments. Indicators for ALE were not secured stably. Requirements for policy and physical environmental approach and adolescent programme were high. Priority areas for education and technical assistance were master planning, guideline and case, program and policy development, partnership development, and networking among cities. Representative projects among member cities were somewhat different from ideal models. Conclusions: Policy and environmental approaches needs to be reinforeced systemically for members of KHCP including securing stable indicators. More education and technical assistance also needed sustainably.

위생지표세균 검출을 위한 APHA-MPN과 mTEC법의 비교 -미국 Rhode Island주 Greenwich Bay의 위생조사를 통하여- (Comparison of APHA-MPN and mTEC Methods for Detecting Indicator Bacteria through a Sanitary Survey of Greenwich Bay, Rhode Island, U. S. A.)

  • APHA-MPA(American Public Health Association-Most Probable Numbers)은 환경수중에 존재하는 위생지표세균 추정에 사용되는 미국 FDA의 유일한 공인방법이기는 하나 결과를 얻기까지 많은 시간, 인력 및 경비가 소요될 뿐 아니라 일반적으로 정밀도도 낮다는 결점이 있다. 이러한 문제를 극복하기 위하여 개발된 막여과 방법중 mTEC(membrane thermotolerant E. coli)은 분변계대장균 및 E. coli의 회수율이 좋을 뿐 아니라 경비도 절약할 수 있는 방법으로서 알려져 있어, 미국 Rhode Island주의 Greenwich Bay의 위생조사를 통하여 MPN과 비교하여 보았다. 그 결과 mTEC의 분변계 대장균 및 E. coli 회수율은 MPN보다 평균치로써 각각 1.08 및 1.27배 높게 나타나, MPN의 대체 방법으로서의 가능성이 확인되었으며, 따라서 이 방법이 앞으로 위생지표세균의 검출방법으로서 공인된다면 우리나라 수출용 패류생산 지정해역의 관리는 물론 패류양식장의 위생학적인 분류도 효율적으로 할 수 있으리라 기대된다.
