B2B 거래기업 특성이 관계성과에 미치는 영향 : 기술환경 불확실성의 조절 효과 중심으로 (The Effect of B2B Transaction Characteristics on Relationship Performance : The moderating Role of Technical Environment Uncertainty)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to examine the differential mediating effects of three dimensions of buyer trust in the influence of supplier characteristics on the relationship performance. In this study, transaction characteristics were classified into competences and assets. The corporate reputation is considered as intangible assets, the customer-linking capability is considered among the competencies and transaction specific asset is selected from tangible assets. This study is also to examine the moderating effect of technical environment uncertainty in the effects of integrity and benevolence on the intention to continue trading. This study aims to provide a guide on which dimension suppliers should manage and how to improve their trust in order to maintain business with companies in technical environment uncertainty. Research design, data, and methodology - The data for the empirical analysis of this study were obtained by interviewing the 274 purchasing managers of Daegu - Gyeongbuk small and medium enterprises. The items used in this survey were partially modified to fit the characteristics of the B2B industry. The reliability and validity of the variables were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 programs and hypotheses were verified through the structural equation modeling. Results - In this study, reliability was examined by Cronbach 'α test. Composite Reliability and Average Mean Variance extracted value exceeded the baseline values. As a result of hypotheses testing, the hypothesis that the transaction specific asset will improve the benevolence and that benevolence will improve the intention to continue the transaction were rejected and all the other 9 hypotheses were adopted include 2 moderating hypothesis. Conclusions - This study shows which dimension of trust suppliers should appeal to the buyer according to the uncertainty of the technology environment in order to maintain the transaction with the buyer. competence and integrity are important when technology environment uncertainty is low, and competence and benevolence are important when technical environment uncertainty is high. In order to improve competence, corporate reputation and transaction-specific asset are important. To improve integrity, corporate reputation and customer-linking capability are important. In order to improve benevolence, customer-linking capability is important. And various implications were discussed.

  • This paper looks at "network" aspects of research and development (R'||'&'||'D) with a special focus on small and medium (S'||'&'||'M) automotive part makers in Korea. It throws light on recent changes in the technological capability building mechanism of Korean automotive firms. The Korean automotive firms have mostly built up technological capability from scratch. It is widely acknowledged that they have benefited from two cooperative relations: namely (1) the close cooperative relationship with their own assemblers and (2) technical assistance from auto parts makers abroad. Too much emphasis on these two links can, however, keep us from understanding new developments. This paper argues that auto parts firms have diversified their networks for technological development. It is based on the analysis of the data drawn from the survey on technological development activities of small and medium sized firms, which was carried out by the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business. Many automotive firms have recently increased joint R'||'&'||'D links with university and/or research institution while their reliance on foreign sources have decreased.

  • This paper presents a probabilistic method for describing the transfer capability of one area in an interconnected power system. The approach is based on Monte Carlo simulation scheme. The result of this method is the probability distribution of transfer capability. The distribution yield a general framework for probabilistic analysis of STC. IEEE RTS-24 power system is utilized to evaluate the proposed method.

  • This paper analyses the hindrance factors of process capability. The reasons of the products which are out of specification can be accounted on the hindrance factors. An $\hat{e}$nquete which consists of 4 categories such as technical knowledge, work performance, work environment, and human relations at home and office, is prepared and handed out to 1000 works to get information. And Spearman's Correlation Coefficient (${\rho}s$) is adapted as an anaysis and consideration criterion. In consequence, it is revealed the next 4 factors become the vital hindrance factors of process capability: (1) unskillful working (2) over load for operators (3) imperfect work environment (4) incoordination of human relations And the correspondent policy can be summarized as follows: (1) propagation & fixation of I.E. techniques (2) harmonization of human relations (3) improvement of work environment (4) strengthening the T.W.I.

  • 정보기술의 비즈니스 가치는 수십 년 동안 실무자와 학자, 모두에게 최고의 관심사 중 하나가 되어왔다. 정보기술은 일반적으로 기업 민첩성의 원동력 혹은 성공요인으로 고려된다. 이에 대한 보편적인 전제는 IT 투자에 상당한 노력을 하는 기업은 보다 민첩할 수 있다는 사실이다. 더욱이 최근 환경의 불안전성이 상승함에 따라 기업은 시장 기반의 위협과 기회를 파악하고 대응하기 위해 보다 더 민첩하게 하는 방법을 요구한다. 하지만 기업의 전략을 돕는 IT는 때때로 비즈니스에 방해가 되거나 조직의 민첩함을 지체시키기도 하는 일이 심심찮게 발생되곤 한다. 즉 IT가 민첩성에 도움이 되거나 지장을 주는지에 대한 여부는 아직까지도 해결되지 않은 과제로 남아있다. 따라서 본 연구는 IT와 민첩성간의 촉진과 저해의 상반되는 측면이 빈번하게 관찰되고 있다는 점을 지적하고 이들 간의 관계에 대해 이론화를 시도하고자 하였다. 다시 말하면, 기업이 민첩성을 실현하기 위해서는 그들이 성공적으로 IT 자원을 관리하는 기업 전반의 우수한 IT 능력 개발이 필요하다는 근거를 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구는 IT 능력에 대해 기술적 IT 능력과 관리적 IT 능력, 두 가지의 변수로 개념화하였으며, 기업 민첩성의 운영 조정 및 시장 자본화의 두 가지 유형을 정의하였다. 기업을 대상으로 수집된 171부의 데이터를 PLS 접근 방식에 따라 분석한 결과, 기술적 IT 능력은 기업 민첩성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 관리적 IT 능력은 기술적 IT 능력과 기업 민첩성 사이에서 강화된 조절효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 주도적인 경영진의 존재가 있다면 민첩성에서 나아가 기업의 성과를 실현하기 까지 그 영향이 증가된다는 것도 볼 수 있었다. 마지막으로 기업 민첩성은 기업 성과에 중요한 원인변수라는 사실이 밝혀졌다. 본 연구의 결과는 민첩성에 대한 IT의 모순된 효과가 발생되고 있지만 이에 적용 가능한 해결책을 제시하고, IT 능력과 기업 민첩성과의 관계에 있어 보다 정교하고 현실적으로 이해할 수 있는 실증적증거를 제공할 수 있다. 뿐만 아니라 상대적으로 초기단계에 있는 민첩성 관련 연구와 기업 실무자들에게 많은 유용한 시사점을 제안할 수 있을 것이다.

기술제안서의 개발조직 부문에 관한 정량적 평가 (A Quantitative Evaluation on Developmental Organization of Technical Proposals)

  • The technical proposal suggested and published by MIC(Ministry of Information and Communication, henceforth MIC) contains too general assessment elements, which causes qualitative and subjective assessment of technical proposals. Thus, in terms of the technical proposal assessment. It lacks In fairness, validity and accuracy. Furthermore, it has a great deal of difficulty in assessment caused by the inconsistency between proposal planning and assessment methods. Also, each company has different writing format, so it is impossible to make use of its maneuvering data for the assessment. To overcome these weaknesses, our research focused on a quantitative evaluation on development organization, which is a part of organizational and administrative part of the technical proposal suggested and published by MIC. In this research, we divided development organization for the technical proposal into organization, teams, and team members, and then studied addition, deletion and merging for the assessment criteria. For the related study, we chose especially CMM(Capability Maturity Model) from a lot of international and national references, which is a model measuring the maturity of organization, and then we focused on Small-CMM which is available in the small-sized organization. We also suggested input form, description method, assessment elements for the quantitative assessment in the chosen developmental organization, and finally we proposed standard referencing criteria for the assessment. Our study concludes that our assessment method are valid and available in comparison with the previous Delphi method through a validity evaluation test.
