  • In this paper, we propose a new intelligent control system to be adapted for the characteristic of user who use the plant. The proposed intelligent control system is composed of the artificial neural network, the teaming vector quantization network. In order to verify the usefulness of the proposed system, we simulated in using Matlab.

  • Information network technologies introduce a new education environment. Cyber education is growing rapidly as a field of practice especially in distance education system. The development of multimedia environment based on such technology as graphics, image, voice, and video, personal computer systems use has become the media for interactive teaching-teaming service. These features have made integrated multimedia education feasible. This research suggested a direction for the development of an interactive distance education system. I have developed an education system which cooperate problem bank and learning system. This system support arbitration of the relative difficulty in the problem bank database. An ongoing version of this research was evaluated. Those findings reveal several factors that influence how the proposed system can be tailored to the students' perspectives in order to come up with the enhanced version of this system.

  • The telemedicine & distance education system that this paper suggests has been designed on the CTE(Collaborative Telemedicine & distance Education) framework, which is an integrated multimedia environment. This is a CBM-based collaborative telemedicine & distance education type, different from the conventional doctor based general practice, and is an integrated multimedia telemedicine & distance education system capable of many application developments using information super highway. This paper presents the content regarding electronic medical examination chart and data treatment for efficient medical examination and prompt treatment by realizing mutual conversation type remote medical examination system among 3 parties(patient, doctor, pharmacist) on internet base. And, The implementation of this new teaming system should be designed with multimedia application development platform base which is interfaced with computer engineering, computer network technology, CSCW (Computer-Supported Cooperative Work) technology, and education engineering.

Robust Audio Watermarking Using HAS and Neural Network (신경망과 HAS을 이용한 강인한 오디오 워터마킹 알고리즘)

  • In this paper, a new digital audio watermarking algorithm is presented. The proposed algorithm embeds watermark into audio signal based on human auditory system (HAS). This algorithm is a blind audio watermarking method, which does not require any prior information during watermark extraction process. This algorithm finds watermarking position using time-domain masking effect. First we insert the watermark into wavelet domain, and then we use a back-propagation neural network (BPN) to learn the characteristics of relationship between the watermark and the watermarked audio. Due to the teaming and adaptive capabilities of the BPN, the false recovery of the watermark can be greatly reduced by the trained BPN. Experimental results show that the proposed method has good inaudibility and high robustness to common audio processing attacks.

  • Rearing community youth has been main factors of sustainable agriculture and rural community. The purposes of this study were to analyze the leadership skill and organizational commitment of community youth and to investigate the relationship between leadership skill and organizational commitment. The data were collected from 196 rural youth by stratified random sampling. The study was adopted t-test, ANOVA factor analysis and correlation analysis. The major findings of this study were as follows; First, community youth married, wealthier, and expanded farming area were more likely to have leadership life skills than others. Second, community youth wealthier and expanded farming area were more likely to have organizational commitment than others. Third, group activity, being leader, teaming skill, communication self understanding, decision making, language skill among leadership skills have positively correlated with organizational commitment.

  • In this paper, position tracking control of an autonomous helicopter is presented. Combining an LQR method and a proportional control forms a simple PD control. Since LQR control gains are set for the velocity control of the helicopter, a position tracking error occurs. To minimize a position tracking error, neural network is introduced. Specially, in the frame of the reference compensation technique for teaming neural network compensator, a position tracking error of an autonomous helicopter can be compensated by neural network installed in the remotely located ground station. Considering time delay between an auto-helicopter and the ground station, simulation studies have been conducted. Simulation results show that the LQR with neural network performs better than that of LQR itself.

  • School Networks environment is implemented in many schools to support educational activities for networking resources required in teaching-teaming activities with government initiative. The Structure and Type of Scientific Hypotheses on Zoological Tasks as Generated by Prospective Elementary School Teachers (동물학 과제에서 초등학교 예비 교사들이 생성한 과학적 가설의 구조와 유형)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the structure and type of prospective elementary school teachers' scientific hypotheses generated on zoological tasks. The subjects were 18 prospective elementary school teachers. Four zoological hypothesis generation tasks were developed and administered to the subjects. After being presented with the zoological situations of the tasks, the subjects were asked to generate causal questions and scientific hypotheses. The scientific hypotheses were analyzed by the inductive approach. The results of this study showed that the hypotheses contained explicans and explicanda. The explicans were divided into two parts: 'what' and 'how'. In some cases, additional explanations were attached to the 'what' section. In addition, the hypotheses were classified into 9 types. The number of explicanda, the pattern of explicans, and the number of explicans were used as criteria for classification purposes. This study also discussed the implications of these findings for future directions in teaching and teaming in science education.

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate the relationships between parents'attitudes toward emergent literacy and home literacy practices with toddlers and preschoolers. The researcher developed the instrument based on a literature review and on other researchers'(Fitzgerald, Spiegel, & Cunningham, 1991; DeBaryshe & Binder, 1994) questionnaires for parents of toddlers and preschoolers. The researcher did a pilot study to examine the appropriateness of the questionnaires with 68 parents. A total of 274 parents who sent their children to daycare centers participated in this study in central Pennsylvania. To analyze the data for this study, The researcher employed Frequency, Mean, Standard Deviation, Pearson's correlations, Multiple Regression Analysis. Demographic characteristics and parents'attitudes toward emergent literacy which consisted with writing and reading attitudes of literacy were related to home literacy practices for toddlers and preschoolers.. Writing attitudes and verbal participation in reading were the most predicting variables in home literacy practices. The results of this study addressed the importance of the role of belief systems in literacy teaming between parents and children.
