The deVelopment of technologies changes the thinking of people and the ways of IMngs. The software developers as well as users are now aware of the importance of graphic user interface design, and the usage of graphic elements is getting rrore and more easier due to the technological improvements based on the windows system(Microsoft). For these reasons, people who engaged in software developments do much more efforts to get user-oentered design solutions, in other words, the usability improvements. And the interdisciplinary projects teams which consist of experts of various fields are increasing in number. But, the lack of understanding on software developments and the proceeding of design work without the consideration of entire process of a project make interface design work difficult. For exampIe, some engineers often think designers as persons who decorate their products in the final stage. In this thesis, through the investigation of user interface design and software development process, the frarnework of effective team projects is proposed. The main purposes of this thesis are to define the work area and position of designers and to propose the interface design process for the cooperative software development projects within the interdiociplinary teams.

The Maritime Traffic Safety Audit Scheme was institutionalized in 2009 to provide for professional surveys, measurement and the evaluation of navigational hazards that might occur in coastal waters in the course of marine work. Related researches that dealt with the reform of the Maritime Traffic Safety Audit Scheme found that there were no rules or regulations for verifying whether marine work conformed to audit results and reviewing the exactitude of ship handling simulations which were a crucial part of the scheme. According to the necessity of adopting an ex post facto management system in the field of maritime traffic, this study analyzed the similar audit acts such as the Natural Environment Impact Audit Scheme and the Road Traffic Safety Audit Scheme, and proposed specific articles for revising Maritime Safety Act in order to break out from the institutional inertia of the current Maritime Traffic Safety Audit Scheme. It is expected that a newly proposed legal system for verifying the performance of audit results and the exactitude of audits will help improve maritime traffic safety by eradicating potentially hidden hazards related to marine work.

Nowadays, the construction industry is suffering from the decrease of labor productivity caused by the lack of skilled workers and the aging labor forces. The hazardous work conditions and safety problems still exist at the construction sites. The earthwork operation is not the exception. The number of skilled earthwork equipment operators has been rapidly reduced and the equipment needs to be operated in dangerous / hazardous work sites. Thus, through the development of intelligent excavating system, Intelligent Excavating System(I.E.S) research team tries to enhance the safety of work environment, productivity, quality, and payability of the earthwork operation. It is also expected that this research contributes to the development of fundamental construction automation technologies and to the creation a new market sector.

This study shows the current management status and the results of B University's multicultural creative-HR team's voice training supporters' preparation course that is part of the local funding project at the university. For this, the concept of voice training and educational contents of the multicultural members are first extracted from several documents. Then, a description of the management case of B University's voice training supporters' education course is given regarding the goals, operator of management, propulsion progress, and contents of previous education. For analyzing the management results of this work, in-depth interviews with the supporters and a half-structured survey are conducted with the voice academy main instructors. Moreover, reports of the work results, work journals of supporters and etc. are used for analyzing the results. According to the results of this analysis, the aspect of education, previous education contents, and teaching practicum are not organically connected. A more detailed curriculum about the comprehension ability of practical affairs is needed for managing a classroom. In aspect of management, the preparatory stage of voice training course and the practice stage were not linked, and thus, more cooperation is required with the main instructors. Although the results are limited, the voice training of the supporters' training course has its implications. First, the education of Korean pronunciation and intonation are provided for the supporters, thereby being able to facilitate learner-centered education. Second, it demonstrates in an empirical case that a class can be administered by specializing in Korean pronunciation and intonation. At last, it can provide a chance to practice teaching and offer field experience for students who have a Korean education major.

In addition to the recent business field, the importance of leadership in universities is becoming an increasingly important issue. Purpose of our study is to recommend the significance of authentic leadership by analyzing the effect of leader 's authentic leadership on follower' s project work climate and project performance. As a result of the previous studies that authentic leadership among university students as a quasi-social worker mitigates the role of leader and the tension between the members in the team, this study tries to examine the moderation effect of work climate on the relationship between the follower's authentic leadership and project performance. Therefore, a survey was conducted for students enrolled in some universities. A total of 175 questionnaires were used for the structural equation using STATA 14.0. The results of this study is summarized in three points. Our finding is as follow. The authentic leadership of the leader has a positive influence on the follower' s authentic leadership while the followers' authentic leadership had a positive effect on the project performance.

Purpose: This study aimed to examine the mediating effects of clinical nurses' job crafting on organizational effectiveness based on the job demands-resources model proposed by Bakker and Demerouti (2017). Methods: The participants consisted of 393 nurses working in nursing units of a tertiary general hospital located in Cheongju region. The data, collected using questionnaire from August 9 to August 20, 2021, were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 27.0. Results: The goodness-of-fit (GoF) test results on the modified model (χ² = 2.7, GFI = .94, SRMR = .03, RMSEA = .06, NFI = .92, CFI = .94, TLI = .92, AGFI = .90), indicated that the GoF index satisfied the recommended level. Regarding the effects of each variable on organizational effectiveness, job crafting showed statistically significant direct (β = .48, p < .001), indirect (β = .23, p < .001), and total effects (β = .71, p < .001). Burnout showed statistically significant direct effect (β = - .17, p < .001). Work engagement showed statistically significant direct (β = .41, p < .001) and total effects (β = .41, p < .001). The factors explaining organizational effectiveness were job crafting, burnout, and work engagement, which had an explanatory power of 76.7%. Conclusion: Nurses' job crafting is an important mediating factor for enhancing the organizational effectiveness of nursing organizations. Hospitals should develop job-crafting success cases and related education and training programs as a strategy for enhancing the job crafting of nurses and, consequently organizational effectiveness.

Purpose: This study was done to identify the causes of turnover in nursing staff in small and medium‐size hospitals and prepare measures to decrease turnover. Nurses in these hospitals were surveyed focusing on their nursing activities, reasons for turnover, and content of their work. Method: A mail survey of hospitals with 300 beds or less was conducted using a questionnaire including items on the current state of nursing, performance of nursing tasks, turnover of nurses, working conditions, and supports and policies related to insufficient number of nurses. Results: The average number of nurses per 100 beds was 37.5, 3.3 less than the prescribed level of 40.8. The turnover rate was higher when the level of remuneration for nursing care was low, and the most frequent reason for nurses leaving was 'move to another hospital', showing that there is a continuous chain of moves for nurses. Other frequent reasons were situations related to working conditions such as childbirth, child care, irregular working hours, night work, and low wages. Conclusion: To guarantee adequate nursing coverage in these hospitals, working conditions for nurses should be improved, including higher wages, a more flexible work system, and installation and operation of 24-hour child care facilities.

Background: The present study aimed to analyze several aspects of the working conditions and health status of platform workers in the Republic of Korea, such as ergonomic and emotional hazards. We also compared the health status of the platform workers with that of the general population. Methods: A total of 1,000 platform workers participated in this survey from August 7 to August 17, 2022. The participants included 400 designated drivers, 400 food-delivery drivers, and 200 housekeeping managers. A face-to-face survey with a structured questionnaire was conducted by researchers who had received specific instructions. The focus of the survey extended to the work environment, encompassing factors such as workplace violence, as well as physical, chemical, and ergonomic hazards. Health-related data for the previous year were also collected, covering a range of issues such as hearing problems, skin problems, musculoskeletal symptoms, headaches, injuries, mental health issues, and digestive problems. Subsequently, we compared the health symptom data of the responders with those of the general population in the Republic of Korea. Results: Platform workers, including designated drivers, food-delivery drivers, and housekeeping managers, existed in the blind spot of social insurance, facing frequent exposure to physical and chemical hazards, ergonomic risk factors, and direct or indirect violence. The prevalence of health problems, including musculoskeletal symptoms, general fatigue, and depressive symptoms, in each occupational group was statistically higher than that in the general population after standardization for age and gender. Conclusion: The results revealed unfavorable working environment and inferior occupational health of platform workers compared with those of the general population.

Semantic clustering is important to various fields in the modem information society. In this work we applied the Independent Component Analysis method to the extraction of the features of latent concepts. We used verb and object noun information and formulated a concept as a linear combination of verbs. The proposed method is shown to be suitable for our framework and it performs better than a hierarchical clustering in latent semantic space for finding out invisible information from the data.
