팀기반학습을 적용한 건축시공 교육과정 운영방안 (Plans for Building Construction Curriculum Operation Applied with Team-based Learning)

  • Due to the effects of COVID-19 and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, construction engineering education has been required to change. As part of efforts to respond to changes, innovative teaching methods such as team-based learning have been introduced, but specific measures are still lacking. In this regard, this study proposed plans for building construction curriculum operation applied with team-based learning, building construction course operation applied with team-based learning, and building construction course grade evaluation applied with team-based learning. It is expected that the proposed operation plans can be used in educational settings where team-based learning is to be applied in a changing class environment.

  • The success of a building design team is achieved as a result of a combination of multiple events/factors and interactions, and has a great impact on the quality of the building construction process. While most of previous studies have focused on quality of the construction process, the success of a design team has not been completely investigated. This paper presents the critical factors that impact the success of a building design team and describes an assessment tool to measure the successful performance of the design team with respect to the critical factors. The development of the assessment tool employs the concept of quality function deployment (QFD), a technique to measure the service quality of an organization.

Soft Team-Building Support System on Tender Evaluation Committees In Public Procuring Entities

  • The Nigerian Public Procurement Act (PPA, 2007) is still lagging in its vague definition of the requisite qualifications for procurement managers. Hitherto, tender evaluation committees have been constituted arbitrarily without any feed-forward structure. An advanced close-ended support system for constituting tender evaluation committees is hereby presented. A theoretical concept was followed by a design science methodology. A deterministic team-building model for tender evaluation committees is demonstrated. The optimisation algorithm relies on an additive analytical sequence and a complex factoring of anticipated group interaction. Match models, which proactively determine the effects of complementary participation of team players were adapted. It is an emerging technical solution for a relatively ignored research concern, which now makes a scientific team-building processin procurement possible through itinerant simulation. The deterministic strategy was validated by a hypothetical entity case while augmenting a few data entries. A restrictive decision space was created to enable the determination, identification and composition of tender evaluation team members' inclusion criteria in a committee. A questionnaire drawn from ten (10) procurement managers from Nigeria helped validate the soft team-building model. The support system is inflexible for accommodating probabilistic entries where target data is discontinuous. Minimising the discretionary assemblage of personnel to evaluate tenders is a potential benefit of adopting the support system. Public procuring entities can deploy the soft team-building support system with little adjustments to accommodate entity-specific peculiarities.

간호역량 군집 유형에 따른 성찰 수준, 팀학습 분위기 및 학습조직 구축정도 비교 (Comparison of Reflection Hierarchy, Team Learning Climate, and Learning Organization Building on Nursing Competency in Clinical Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify clusters of nursing competency, and investigate the influence of reflective thinking, team learning climate, and learning organization building according to nursing competency clusters. Methods: Participants were 244 clinical nurses who worked in 4 general hospitals in Gwangju Metropolitan City. Data were collected by self-report questionnaires during June and July, 2011. Nursing competency, levels of reflection hierarchy, team learning climate, and learning organization building were measured. Data were analyzed using frequencies, means, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and K-means cluster analysis with SPSS/WIN 20.0 version. Results: Nursing competency correlated positively with intensive reflection, reflection, team learning climate, and learning organization building (p<.001). There were three clusters of nursing competency in a clinical ladder, which were derived from cluster analysis, grouped as high, middle, and low competency. Intensive reflection, reflection, team learning climate, and learning organization building showed significant differences according to grouping of nursing competency. Conclusion: The results indicate that developing intensive reflection, reflection, team learning climate, and learning organization building would be useful strategies for enhancement of nursing competency.

전산유체역학을 이용한 디젤엔진 부하시험장의 환기 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Ventilation Improvement of Diesel Locomotive Engine Load Test Building using Computational Fluid Dynamics)

  • The aim of this study is to relieve the poor ventilation problem of the diesel locomotive engine load test building, located in an urban area. This paper evaluates the ventilation performances of the studied load test building based on the temperature measurement experiment and the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) during the engine load test. The temperature rise caused by the radiator blower of the building was turned out to be the main cause of disturbing the thermal conditions of the building. The indoor temperature distributions simulated by Fluent were validated with the temperature measurement results obtained from the studied building. The simulation results indicated that the comfort condition of this building was poor We suggested several remedial changes in the duct structure of this building for the improvement of the comfort conditions. In addition, a prototype drawing combining several improved design options was proposed. and then the simulation of the temperature distribution in the proposed prototype was performed. The result indicated that the indoor thermal condition of this proposed building was improved when compared with that of the current building.

코어 위치와 종횡비 및 방위에 따른 건물 에너지 부하 분석 (An Analysis on Building Energy Load along Core Position, Area Ratio and Orientation)

  • In this Study, effect of core position, area ratio and orientation of building on energy load is examined using TRNSYS17. This parameters are major parameters of the conceptual design stage. Reference model is square floor plan($1,444m^2$), centered core and 29% core area ratio. As the results, without considering the building orientation, the annual heating load of central building with 1:1 area ratio is lowest ($10.33kWh/m^2yr$) and the annual cooling load of off-central building with 1:1 area ratio is lowest ($59.27kWh/m^2yr$). As area ratio is bigger, cooling load is lower and heating load is higher. But if we consider building orientation, orders of heating load and cooling load are changed for area ratio and orientation.

  • 건물 부문의 에너지 절약방안으로 신재생에너지를 이용한 에너지 관리 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 신재생에너지를 이용한 BEMS(Building and Enviromental Management System)를 설계하고, 이것을 구현하기 위한 Software Framework 를 설계한다.

  • In this paper we present cooperation of heterogeneous robot team, composed of a wheeled robot and a helicopter for localization and map building. This heterogeneous robot team can successfully fulfill task by combining the abilities of both robots than single robot because wheeled robot and helicopter have complementing ability. The scenario describes a tightly cooperative task, where the wheeled robot move carrying the helicopter and detect obstacles, if there are obstacles, helicopter take off for map building and land, then robot team move destination avoiding obstacles. We present PID controller for position control of helicopter and transformation algorithm to global coordinate from image pixel coordinate. Experimental result show that the proposed method is valid.

팀기반학습 적용을 위한 교육지원시스템의 활용 효과 (Effects of a Learning Management System on Applying Team-based Learning)

  • Education in Korean universities is rapidly expanding to online education due to COVID-19. In response to such changes, this study proposed a means of improving the learning management system of Korean universities and analyzed the effects of using the system. The important results of this study are as follows: the learning management system was composed of 'pre-class learning,' 'team activity,' and 'participation learning' to support team-based learning. The effects that the users (instructors, learners) can obtain by adopting team-based learning and using the system were analyzed. The study concludes that for instructors, teaching work may be alleviated. For learners, it was demonstrated that they could more easily access and use data required for their education.

  • 최근 대학에서는 학습효과를 향상시키기 위한 효과적인 교수법에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 교수자 중심의 강의식 교육에서 벗어나 학습자의 역량을 키울 수 있는 학습자 중심의 교수법을 적용하려는 움직임이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 학습자 중심의 교수법인 팀기반학습을 적용한 건축시공학 교육과정을 개발하는 것이다. 중요한 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 국내 대학의 강의 운영현황 및 팀기반학습 강의 운영현황을 분석하였다. 팀기반학습을 적용한 교육과정을 개발하였다. 팀기반학습 강의의 학습절차, 주차별 교육과정, 교육과정 운영방안 등을 개발하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 교육과정은 국내 대학에서 적용할 수 있는 일반적인 교육과정을 제시한 것이다. 각 대학에서는 대학별 교육여건과 교수자 및 학생들의 특성에 맞게 조정하여 적용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
