In the era of the fourth industrial revolution, maker education is drawing attention as a method of student-led education. At a time when interest in maker education is also growing in technology education, figuring out what stage of concern(SoC) a middle school technology teacher is critical to effective implementation. This study analyzed SoC in maker education by layer sampling among 400 middle school technology teachers using Concerns-based adoption model. SoC was then obtained by measuring the origin using the SoCQ and then presenting it as a SOCQ profile. Gender, training experience with two lower variables were analyzed using t verification, working cities, teaching experience with more than three lower variables were analyzed using one-way ANOVA. Studies showed that SoC in maker education of middle school technology teachers showed the most similar characteristics to that of non-users. The difference in concern depending on gender was that male teachers were more concerned in maker education than female teachers. The difference in concern depending on the working city was that teachers working in the township were more concerned in the maker education than teachers working in the large city, and the difference in concern depending on the teaching career was higher among teachers with middle experience than those with low and high experience. There was also a higher stage of concern in maker education than in teachers without training experience. Therefore, it is necessary to provide middle school technology teachers with an introduction to the maker education and various information, teaching, learning and evaluation data to enhance overall concern and to support the use and evaluation of the maker education in the classroom by providing various teacher training and consulting on the maker education in the future. Further, through further study, we should conduct study that analyzes both Stage of Concern, Level of Use and Innovation Configuration, to put in the effort for effective settlement of maker education.
The scientific technology developed rapidly and the internet became more popular, also, the world became interactive with one another and the word 'Global' became popular and built a new paradigm. As the development of the society, the ideal criteria for the competent student changed. Consequently, the attention for the globalized education increased. From the points of view of mathematical education, it became a important task to be prepared for international competitiveness for korean talented students. For theses reasons, this article analyzes the characteristics of IBDP and its textbook, which is an international official curriculum and one of the actualizing method for internalization Korean high school curriculum and text book, specifically, focusing on algebra part. Especially, Korean curriculum textbooks and the Mathematical Higher Level textbooks of IBDP was compared and analyzed. As a result, the depth and range of the content, standard level of the question, methods being used to explain the concept, type of questions as well as teaching - learning method were analyzed and in each chapter of the algebra we give meaningful result and proposed discussion.
It is the aim of this paper to find the requisites for the target problem solving process in reference to the base problem and to search the roles of those. Focusing on the structural similarity, analytic activity and comparative activity in stage of similar mathematical problem solving process, we tried to find the roles of them. We observed closely how four students solve the target problem in reference to the base problem. And so we got the following conclusions. The insight of structural similarity prepare the ground appling the solving method of base problem in the process solving the target problem. And we knew that the analytic activity can become the instrument which find out the truth about the guess. Finally the comparative activity can set up the direction of solution of the target problem. Thus we knew that the insight of structural similarity, the analytic activity and the comparative activity are necessary for similar mathematical problem to solve. We think that it requires the efforts to develop the various programs about teaching-learning method focusing on the structural similarity, analytic activity and comparative activity in stage of similar mathematical problem solving process. And we also think that it needs the study to research the roles of other elements for similar mathematical problem solving but to find the roles of the structural similarity, analytic activity and comparative activity.
The purpose of this study is to analyze characteristics of problem solving in mathematics for gifted students through case study on solving the mathematical problem for gifted students, and to investigate what are relationships with the cognitive and affective characteristics. To this end, this study was to analyze the characteristics on the problem solving in mathematics by using qualitative research method after it selected two students who had specific education for brilliant students. As a result, this study has shown that it had high preference for question with clear answer, high preference for individual inquiry learning, high adhesion to answer for question, and high adhesion for assignment on characteristics of process of problem solving, but there was much difference in spirit of competition. As to the characteristics of thoughts in problem solving, this study has shown that it had high grasp capacity, intuitive insight, and capacity for visualization, but there were differences in capacity for generalization and adaptability. However, both two students had low values in deductive thought. In addition, as to the home environment and cognitive and affective characteristics, they were not related to the characteristics on problem solving directly, but it has shown that it affected each other indirectly. As to the conclusion of this study, this researcher thinks that it will be valuable documentation in order to improve curriculum, development of textbooks, and teaching method for special education for the gifted students and education for secondary mathematics.

Nursing students experienced anxiety and fear of building relationships with psychiatric patients due to lack of professional knowledge about metal illness and skill to take care of the patients. The simulation education is known as an effective teaching-learning method since being performed in a non-threatening environment similar to clinical setting. The purpose of this nonequivalent quasi-experimental study was to identify the effect of simulation on anxiety and self-confidence about the psychiatric-mental health nursing practice. The third year nursing students at a three year nursing program were participated in this study. For the experimental group (N=28) the simulation education using the standardized patient based on the scenario for patients with schizophrenia was performed, and for the control group (N=18), the debated education applying the case study same as for the experimental group was made in the class. Using SPSS, t-test and ANCOVA were analyzed to compare the anxiety and self-confidence between the experimental and control groups. As a result of the study, the anxiety score on psychiatric-mental health nursing clinical practice of the experimental group significantly decreased, compared to that of the control group, but the self-confidence score for the performance of psychiatric nursing care showed no significant differences between the groups. Accordingly the simulation education can be an effective educational method to reduce anxiety about psychiatric-mental health nursing clinical practice for nursing students.

This study was carried out to develop a physics education program for foreign students of university in Korea to improve their ability to major in the field and to prevent them from becoming dropout. The subjects of the study are five Chinese students attending a natural science and engineering college. Prior to the development of the physics education program, the researchers developed basic physics textbooks for the foreign students and questionaries for diagnosis and summative evaluation, and utilized them to apply a total of seven classes. After the application of the classes, the results of the student's diagnosis and summative evaluation, the teacher's diaries, the observer's diaries, and the transcripts were analyzed by triangulation method. In addition, Nvivo12 was used for the analysis of the teacher's and observer's diaries to help with qualitative analysis. The results of the study are as follows: First, the oder and contents of physics education program for students of the natural science and engineering college were presented in detail, and basic physics textbooks and tools for diagnosis and summative assessment were developed. Second, as a result of the analysis of the diagnosis and summative assessment results of the program, the students' basic physics achievement improved by an average of 40 points due to the application of the developed program. Third, as a result of the application of the program using Nvivo12, meaningful node and actual cases were extracted. There were 10 types of nodes created such as understanding of the students, teaching method, rate of the participation, level differences, language problems, relevance to majors, curriculum and methods of education in the country of origin, cooperative learning, and interest inducement. The researcher provided suggestions on physics education methods for students of science and engineering colleges in Korea based on the related cases.

This study made of centrally actual application in general arts classes based on movie in university. Especially, I analyzed the activities of the class with 'Untouchable: 1% friendship' among 6 films. The objects of this study are 44 students of D university in Busan Metropolitan City who take 'creative fusion from movie' general arts class which opened first semester in 2016. In this study, students were able to watch movies through the creative class, which was out of the traditional classroom method, and after 15 hours of learning the quiz online, they conducted 15 weeks as a teaching method to perform tasks, presentations, experiments, and experiences in regular class time. The results of this study are as follows. 'It is a general arts class that makes movements live,' 'It is a general arts class that shows movies from various perspectives,' and 'It is a general arts class that makes me know.' This suggests that the educational medium, which is easily accessible in everyday life, and the general arts class, which is active in the space outside the framework, are perceived as stimulating curiosity and adding fun to college students.

The main goal of this study is to investigate influence of trust in physical education (PE) teachers and immersion experience in PE classes on attitude and satisfaction during PE classes. Total 863 middle school students in Gwang-ju metropolitan area were recruited by utilizing a convenience sampling method. All data were analyzed by using SPSS statistic program ver. 25.0 (frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis). Alpha was set at 0.05. The results of this study is summarized as in the following. First, all sub-factors of trust in the PE teachers partially positively or negatively influence sub-factors of attitude during PE classes. Second, sub-factors of satisfaction during PE classes were partially positively affected to trust in the PE teachers. Third, Attitude during PE Classes were found to have partial positive influence on immersion experience in PE classes. Fourth, sub-factors of immersion experience in PE classes have partial positive effect on the sub-factors of satisfaction during PE classes. Thus, in order to the positive attitude and greater satisfaction during PE classes, it is important to establish the trust of PE teachers through maintaining interaction with students, constructing better systemic class, and creating the class conditions based on considering students' ability. In addition, in order to enhance immersion experiences of students during PE classes, it is necessary to set up learning goals and tasks based on ability of students, to study various teaching method, and to make only focusing on the performance based PE classes without grading.

The purposes of this study is to find out how to use Generative AI by class stage and class model so that classes can be planned using various Generative AI in elementary and secondary education. To this end, contents of using Generative AI according to general instructional stages and instructional models by school level and subject were developed, and revised and supplemented through review by 13 field experts. As for the method of using Generative AI by class stage, general class stages were divided into three stages: 'class preparation', 'in class', and 'class arrangement', and the subject of using Generative AI at each stage, the contents of using it, and the types of Generative AI that can be used are summarized. As a method of using Generative AI according to the class model, eight class contents were developed based on teaching and learning models according to the characteristics of each school level and subject. In order to expand the use of Generative AI in elementary and secondary classes, it is necessary to develop more diverse class contents by school level and subject and distribute them in the field. It is also necessary to develop educational materials on matters to consider when using Generative AI in class.
We study on the concept and reason of seasonal change that 164 university students have. Subsequently the concept types on the seasonal change are classified according to the characteristics and conceptual change after teaching on astronomy. All of the students were simply checked by the questionnaire of multiple choice and essay method before learning on the subjects. And then they answered to questionnaires of similar type after one semester. By the analyzed results, we classify it to three steps of hierarchical concept structure. The first step is the cosmic perspective that is related to the Earth's condition and motion. The second step is the influence of the Earth that is directly affected by the first step. The third step is observer's perspective on the Earth depending on the second step. Among the answers, the first step is prominent and second step is rare. The answers on the reason of seasonal change show some kinds of type which are 1st, 1-2nd, 1-3rd, and 1-2-3rd step. By the result, it is arranged in sequence like as 1-3rd>1st>1-2nd>1-2-3rd type. The lowest number of students was 2nd step of the Sun's altitude and duration of daytime in pre-test. However the students of 2nd step obtained more correct scientific concept on the seasonal change after learning on the subjects, and got the higher score in the post-test than in the pre-test. We found how much important the hierarchical structure on the reason of seasonal change is. As the results, second step on the learning of the Sun's altitude and duration of daytime essentially have to teach after first step. And then third step have to teach. At last, it is sure that the students can obtain the concept of seasonal change.
