All men′s achievement and behavior is always based on motivation. It has been reported that learning motivation plays an important role to get the achievement of study to approximately 16 ~ 38%. Therefore, a lot of researchers agree that learning motivation must be required for learning achievement. This study focuses on "How behavior induces learning motivation from learners\ulcorner" I adapted "the Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction" which is supported by John. M. Keller in the model of ARCS to the course of teaching-learning in order to improve them systematically. The effectiveness and results of adaptation must be considered to solve the math problems.

The primary purpose of this study was to report overall findings of academic English proficiency of university ESL students in an ESL program from 2003 to 2008 at a university in the U.S. Furthermore, this study proposes to explore the effectiveness of the ESL program on developing the ESL learners' academic English proficiency. In order to achieve these purposes, this study applied a quantitative research methodology which analyzed data (more than 3,000 samples) collected by the university ESL program. The data included the ESL learners' English proficiency test scores. The results indicated that the effectiveness of the ESL program was significant in improving the ESL learners' cognitive/academic language proficiency across all three groups: ESL-only, ESL + Under, and ESL + Grad. That is, after either a complete ESL program intervention only or both a partial ESL program intervention and taking academic courses, the three groups' academic English proficiency was increased to almost same degree The findings are discussed and implications for pedagogy are suggested.

The purpose of this research is to examine the scope and effectiveness of the utilization of computer programs in universities and educational institutions teaching and training subjects related to interior construction such as interior and exterior design display coloring furniture design perspective drawing expression technique space planning lighting design and portfolio production. The list of currently available non-CAD computer programs for these purpose and the effectiveness of utilizing adobe photoshop in interior design will be examined.

The purpose of the study was to investigate the effectiveness of the manipulatives in instruction of mathematics to those who have learning disabilities. Two middle school students who revealed very low achievements in the previous mathematics tests were involved in this study. Unit Cubes were used as the manipulatives, and the researchers utilized this manipulatives to teach the number bases. After a series of instructions utilizing the Unit Cubes, the subjects were interviewed with semi-structured form. In general, the effect of using the manipulatives were positive. Both subjects could understand much better with the Unit Cubes, and revealed affirmative results such as their positive attitudes toward mathematics.

The purpose of this study is to investigate effectiveness of the cyber home study to improve the self-directed learning ability. For this study, 21 middle school students took voluntarily part in the 4 weeks cyber home study in Wulsan teaching & learning center and 3 students were interviewed among them. The results of this study were as follows; First, the 4-weeks experimental cyber home study is shown to be effective for improving the self-directed learning ability, specialty for the intermediate and low level students, Second, it is shown that the cyber home study enable students to have positive attitude as well as interest and confidence in the mathematical learning.

Gender equity education is ineffective in a public school system even though gender equity education is a current issue in South Korean education. One of the problems is attributed to teacher education because no better gender equity education can be accomplished without teacher preparation. Therefore, the effectiveness of teachers is a very important keyword in teacher education. This study examines learning experience, gender equity value, teacher preparation for gender equity education of pre-service teachers in Gonju, South Korea, the factors that influence teacher preparation for gender equity education, and the instruction of gender equity. A survey was delivered to pre-service teachers in 2008, and the data of 350 pre-service teachers were analyzed. MANOVA and Multiple Regressions were used for analyzing the data. The results will contribute to the development of effective teacher education for gender equity education and information on a partnership between the family and the public school system that is centered on gender equity education.

The number of studies on data-driven learning (DDL) has increased in recent years, and DDL's overall effectiveness as an L2 (second language) teaching methodology has been reported to be high. However, the degree of its effectiveness in grammar instruction, particularly for the goal of correcting errors in L2 writing, is still unclear. To provide guidelines for focused grammar instruction with DDL in the Japanese classroom setting, we aimed to identify the typical grammatical errors made by Japanese learners in the Cambridge Learner Corpus First Certificate in English (CLC FCE) dataset. The results revealed that three error types (nouns, articles, and prepositions) should be addressed in DDL grammar instruction for Japanese English as a foreign language (EFL) learners. In light of the findings, pedagogical implications and suggestions for future DDL research and practice are discussed.

Scenario-based learning (SBL) has been used in a variety of training situations across different disciplines. Despite its seemly widespread use in construction management discipline, very few attempts have been made to explore its effectiveness and the respective students' learning experience. Using a survey research design, this study aims to investigate students' perceptions on SBL approach in construction management courses. The specific objectives are: (i) to identify the characteristics of a favourable SBL environment, and (ii) to explore the students' learning experience and effectiveness of the SBL approach. The results show that the four characteristics of a favourable SBL environment are: effective team formulation, constant engagement with lecturer, working in a group, and incorporation of motivational incentive for participation. The students really appreciated the opportunities to apply concepts learnt in the lectures in their SBL group work. Also, they perceived that the SBL approach is effective in developing their reflective and critical thinking skills, analytic and problem-solving skills and their ability to work as a team. These findings should facilitate more critical approaches to similar form of teaching methods.

We studied to aim for exploring practical approaches to enhance the effectiveness of creativity education by using artificial intelligence and the metaverse in the field of media contents. Recognizing the need for educational innovation to adapt to the accelerating changes driven by the advancements in artificial intelligence and the metaverse, and considering the increasing importance of fostering creativity as a key competitive advantage for future talents, we focused on research implementing creativity education in the media contents domain. To achieve this, we conducted this study during a semester-long media contents course utilizing artificial intelligence and the metaverse in real classroom setting. We involved in this study collecting feedback and opinions from students to investigate and identify effective strategies for enhancing the impact of creativity education. As a result, we proposed the utility of media contents class using artificial intelligence and the metaverse in enhancing students' creativity. By elucidating which teaching methods are most effective, we contributed to derive beneficial outcomes for media contents creative education.

This article describes the use of Internet as a means of operating the class which is business simulation game. The aims of investigation are to summarize the characteristics of distance learning using information technology, to find proper operating procedures for the internet class focusing on small group formation, to check the major factors affecting the teaching effectiveness, and to suggest the business simulation game as a proper distance learning class using internet.
