협동학습이 학습자의 학습태도 및 자기주도학습력에 미치는 효과 (Effects of cooperative learning on learning attitude and self-directed learning capability of learners)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of cooperative learning on the learning attitude and self-directed learning capability of learners. Methods: The subjects were 50 sophomores enrolled in cooperative learning for 12-week period from March to June, 2014. A self-reported questionnaire was completed by the subjects. The instruments were 16 questions of learning attitude, 32 questions of self-directed learning, academic achievement, and 12 questions of satisfaction with instruction by Likert 5 scale. Cronbach's alpha was 0.84 in the previous study and 0.78 in this study. Self-directed learning was modified by Yoo and Cheong. Cronbach's alpha of self-directed learning was 0.86 in this study. Academic achievement was assessed by before and after the cooperative learning class. Cronbach's alpha was 0.95 in this study. Their learning attitude and self-directed learning capability were evaluated before and after the cooperative learning, and their satisfaction with the instruction and academic achievement were assessed by the written examination. Results: The score of learning attitude increased from 2.89 in the pretest to 3.38 in the posttest. The self-directed learning of the students increased from 2.98 in the pretest to 3.48 in the posttest. The academic achievement of students also increased from 82.0 in the pretest to 85.2 in the posttest. The satisfaction with instruction was 4.24 of Likert 5 scale. There were significant differences in satisfaction with instruction, cooperative learning and academic achievement. Conclusions: It is important to develop the cooperative learning program linked to self-directed learning for the dental hygiene students continuously. This study will provide the basic data and information for the development of new teaching methods for the dental hygiene.

  • The purpose of this study is to empirical case study for the instructional design of flipped classroom by job-capability advancement of IT business majors. A student of IT business school has learned a lot of management educations for four years. But, they don't recognize a connection between school education and business practice. A subject based on the humanities, and social sciences consisted of mostly the memorization. The undergraduate class lack a practice's curriculum by a creative-oriented lesson rather than memorization-oriented. In particular, An IT business is now recognized as a significance emerging IT investment, the Internet of Things, information security, big data and strategy's ERP. For these reasons, it is important for an instructional design for understanding business practices of the students. Accordingly, Flipped classroom with participatory class be needed increasingly for students' practical sense. We will propose a design method of flipped classroom for inspiring business education. In this, new instructional design overturned traditional teaching method. After the student conducts a prior learn at home, school will accomplish a problem solving through question and answer. This design effected a boredom suppress and creative enforcement of student and an intimacy increase of instructor. In addition, A participatory class and reciprocal peer tutoring will be possible by a spontaneous self-directed learning of student. We were designed course of project type based on big data theory and application to target the fourth-year course. In conclusion, the new instruction provided a help to learning synergy between student and lecturer. During the lessons, the student showed improvement of business sense and enhanced problem solving capability. The lecturer has the intimacy through communication interaction with students.

하브루타 학습법의 사용이 간호대학생의 의사소통능력, 문제해결능력 및 자아존중감에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of the Education Applying Havruta's Method on Communication Competency, Problem Solving Capabilit, and Self-Esteem of Nursing Students')

  • 본 연구는 하브루타 학습법의 사용이 간호대학생의 의사소통능력, 문제해결능력 및 자아존중감에 미치는 효과를 검증하고자 시행되었다. 본 연구는 간호대학생 3학년 중 성인간호학 수업을 수강한 학생 93명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 2023학년 1학기 시작과 종료 시점에 2회 자가보고식 설문조사를 통해 수집되었고, SPSS 23.0 program을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 하브루타 학습법을 사용한 간호대학생의 문제해결능력(t=3.31, p=.001), 자아존중감(t=2.84, p=.019), 문제해결능력의 9개 하위요소에서도 모두 유의하게 높았다. 그러나 의사소통능력(t=1.78, p=.079)은 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 본 연구 결과로 하브루타 학습법이 간호대학생의 역량을 증진시키는 것으로 나타나 향후 하브루타 학습법의 적용이 확대되어야 할 것이며, 친구 가르치기와 문제 만들기 이외의 다양한 하브루타 학습법을 적용한 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다.

초등학교 학생들의 공간능력과 천체운동개념 및 과학탐구능력과의 관계 (Correlations of Elementary Students’ Spatial Abilities with their Conceptions of Celestial Motion and Science Process Skills)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 6학년 학생들의 공간능력과 천체운동개념 및 과학탐구능력의 관계를 알아보고 학생들에게 천체운동개념을 쉽게 이해시키기 위한 교수$\cdot$학습 전략을 찾는데 도움을 주고자 하는데 있다. 연구 결과 첫째, 공간능력과 천체운동개념, 과학탐구능력 성취도에서 남학생이 여학생보다 약간 높게 나타났으나 그 차이는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 둘째, 공간능력과 천체운동개념과의 영향력을 분석한 결과 공간능력은 학생들의 천체운동 개념 이해에 영향력을 갖고 있었다. 천체운동개념에 영향을 미치는 공간능력 하위 요소는 도형유추, 도막세기, 회전등이었다. 셋째, 공간능력은 과학탐구능력의 성취도에 매우 높은 영향력을 갖고 있었으며, 특히 과학탐구능력에 영향을 미치는 공간능력 하위요소는 도막세기가 가장 높았고, 단일요소보다는 여러 요소들이 상호 복합적으로 작용할 때 그 영향력이 더 크게 나타났다.

  • Etching Process, one of the most important process in semiconductor fabrication, has input control part of which components are pressure, gas flow, RF power and etc., and plasma gas which is complex and not exactly understood is used to etch wafer in etching chamber. So this process has not real-time feedback controller based on input-output relation, then it uses EPD(End Point Detection) signal to determine when to start or when to stop etching. Various type EPD controller control etching process using EPD signal obtained from optical intensity of etching chamber. In development EPD controller we concentrate on compensation of this signal intensity and setting the relative signal magnitude at first of etching. We compensate signal intensity using neural network learning method and set the relative signal magnitude using fuzzy inference method. Potential of this method which improves EPD system capability is proved by experiences.

  • This study is suggest the test system for BIM(Building Information Modeling) qualification. And this study is the field-based BIM educational program with the acquisition of the qualifying certificates. Since field-based BIM and Curriculum(of University and Junior College) are highly linked to the actual practical affairs, the learning connected to the practical affairs out of the teaching focused on BIM modeling would satisfy students, and it would make the acquisition of the certificates which determinate the capability of the practical affairs. Thus teachers should guide students to get the certificates thoroughly, make them understand the importance of the acquisition of the certificates.

  • Nowadays, most shop floors using industrial robots have many problems such as constructing robot workcell, generating robot arm moving trajectory, etc.. In the case of programming robot-arms for a specific task, shop operator commonly use the teach pendant to record the target position and determine the moving trajectory. However, such a teaching process may result in an inefficient trajectory in the sense of moving distance and joint angle fluctuation. Moreover, shop operators who have little knowledge about robot programming process need a lot of learning time and cost. The purpose of this paper is to propose a user friendly robot programming method to program robot-arms easily and efficiently for shop operator so that the programming time is reduced and a short and stable trajectory is obtained.

Intelligent Automated Cognitive-Maturity Recognition System for Confidence Based E-Learning

  • As a consequence of sudden outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic worldwide, educational institutes around the globe are forced to switch from traditional learning systems to e-learning systems. This has led to a variety of technology-driven pedagogies in e-teaching as well as e-learning. In order to take the best advantage, an appropriate understanding of the cognitive capability is of prime importance. This paper presents an intelligent cognitive maturity recognition system for confidence-based e-learning. We gather the data from actual test environment by involving a number of students and academicians to act as experts. Then a Genetic Programming based simulation and modeling is applied to generate a generalized classifier in the form of a mathematical expression. The simulation is derived towards an optimal space by carefully designed fitness function and assigning a range to each of the class labels. Experimental results validate that the proposed method yields comparative and superior results which makes it feasible to be used in real world scenarios.

학생 중심 동료 멘토링 교수법에서 수학적 과정에 대한 의사소통학적 접근 (A communicational approach to mathematical process appeared in a peer mentoring teaching method)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 의사소통학적 관점에서 학생의 공유와 참여를 핵심가치로 하는 교수법 중에 하나인 동료 멘토링 방법의 변천과정을 분석하여 우리나라 교육과정에서 지속적으로 강조하는 수학적 과정에 대한 변화의 특징을 명시화하는 것이다. 의사소통학적 접근 방식에서 수학적 과정의 출발점인 동시에 수행의 핵심이라고 볼 수 있는 학습자의 수업 참여를 위해 17년 동안 동료 멘토링 수업 방법의 변화 과정 5단계를 교수법 변화 측면에서 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 수학적 과정을 위한 교수법 변화와 연관된 요소를 학습 환경, 학습 과정, 평가 측면에서 단계별로 추출하였다. 분석 결과, 학습자의 상호작용을 촉진하고 이를 바탕으로 교실 공동체로 모든 학생들이 적극적으로 참여할 수 있도록 하는 수학적 과정을 위한 교수법 변화와 관련된 특징은 연속적인 상호작용성, 맥락의존성, 양방향성, 교사 역량, 학생 참여 원리를 발견할 수 있었다. 이 다섯 가지 원리를 바탕으로 수학적 과정의 효과적 변화의 저변에 깔려있는 원동력으로 공유된 창의성의 원리를 추출할 수 있었다.

사이버 가정교사의 정보 활용능력 평가기준에 관한 연구 (A Study on Information Literacy Evaluation Standard for Cyber Teacher)

  • 사이버가정학습체제는 사교육비 절감과 지역간 학력격차 해소, 학생들의 학력수준에 맞춘 수준별 학습실현 등을 통하여 정규학교교육의 문제점을 보완하고 궁극적으로는 공교육의 내실화를 목적으로 추진된 이러닝 학습체제이다. 본 논문에서는 사이버가정교사의 직무활동을 분석하고 직무활동에 대한 사이버가정교사 정보활용능력 요소를 도출하여 사이버가정교사 정보활용능력 요소에서 사이버가정교사 정보활용능력 평가기준을 마련하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 사이버가정교사의 직무를 교수 학습, 상담 활동, 과정 운영 및 관리, 전문성 개발로 나누어 구조화 하였다. 이렇게 구조화된 사이버가정교사 직무 수행 활동은 사이버가정교사 정보 활용 능력 기준 요소를 추출하는데 기본적인 자료로 활용하였다. 둘째, 사이버가정교사의 직무 수행 활동에 기초하여 도출된 정보 활용 능력 요소는 총 53개의 요소로 정리하였으며 교원 ICT활용능력(ISST) 요소에 기초하여 사이버가정교사 정보활용능력기준(ISSCT)을 사이버 가정교사의 정보활용능력 평가기준으로 제시하였다.
