For family variables, mothers' parenting and patents' marriage conflict were examined. For classroom psycho-social environment, teacher support, peer relationship, class involvement, and teachers' supervision were used. The sample consisted of 548 fifth and sixth grade children. Statistics and methods used for the data analysis were Cronbach's alpha, frequency, percentage, Pearson's correlation, and Hierarchical Regression. Several major results were found from the analysis: First, locus of control, perceived competence, and achievement motivation had a positive correlation with children's self-control. Second, mothers' affective parenting had a positive correlation with children's self-control. However, mothers' controlling parenting and parents' marriage conflict had a negative correlation with it. Third, teacher support, peer relationship, and class involvement had a positive correlation with children's self-control. In addition, teacher supervision had a positive correlation with girls' self-control. Fourth, class involvement, locus of control, and academic competence were important variables predicting boys' self-control. On the other hand, Class involvement, achievement motivation, academic competence, teacher's supervision, and mothers' controlling parenting were important variables predicting girl's self-control.

IIn this paper, I investigate the effect of special education teachers' self-leadership on job-satisfaction. The data was collected from 141 special education teachers to analyze the correlations between self-leadership, job and life satisfaction. In addition, another purpose is to analyze how self-leadership influence on job satisfaction (human relationship, assigned tasks) and life satisfaction. The results are shown as follows. First, self-expectation and goal setting, self-expectation and human relationship, human relationship and assigned tasks have meaningful correlation. Second, self-expectation and self-rewarding are sub-factors of self-leadership that have great influence on human relationship which is a subordinate factor of job satisfaction and assigned tasks. Third, self-expectation and self-rewarding are factors of self-leadership that have a great influence on life satisfaction. Finally, it shows that self-leadership has an effect on life satisfaction through assigned task, which is a factor of job satisfaction. However, through human relationship, self-leadership does not have a meaningful effect on life satisfaction. This study is significant by finding sub-factors which influence special education teacher's self leadership, job satisfaction and life satisfaction by using Bootstrap method.
In this study, I examined the direct or indirect paths among the intra-personal factors as well as extra-personal factors affecting on children's peer competence. Subjects were 514 5-year-old children, their mothers, teachers. The teachers rated each children using Peer Competence Scale (Park, 2001) and completed emotion regulation and Student-Teacher Relationship Scale. The mothers responded to a questionnaire, including Parental Involvement Checklist (Cohen, 1989), parenting behaviors, and Children's Temperament. The data were used for path analysis with Amos 6.0 program. Results of this study were : (1) Children's temperament have an influence on children's peer competence through children's emotion regulation via mothers' parenting behaviors. (2) Children's temperament have an influence on children's peer competence through teacher-child relationship. (3) Mothers' parenting behaviors have an influence on children's peer Competence through mothers' management strategies of peer relations.

Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed by descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression analysis. Results showed that (1) Teacher's transformational leadership, trust and empathic understanding were positively related to children's learning motivation. (2) Teacher's transformational leadership was the strongest predictor for children's learning motivation. (3) Teacher's transformational leadership had a direct influence on children's learning motivation empathic understanding mediated between teacher's transformational leadership and children's learning motivation.

Data were analyzed by t-test, factor analysis, and multiple regression. The results revealed differential influences of factors between the two cultures. Korean-Chinese children's self-concepts were influenced by teacher's support and parenting, while Korean children's self-concepts were significantly influenced tv their peer relationships and teacher's support. Korean-Chinese adolescent's! self-concepts were influenced tv teacher's support and parenting, while Korean adolescent's self-concepts were influenced by parenting and teacher's support.
The myth reflects the human way of thinking about the world. Therefore, an important part of myth is human creation and role. This study examines the process of human creation in myth and discusses implications for education. The subjects that can be considered from the viewpoint of education are as follows. The status and role of teachers and students, the relationship between teachers and students, how to create or create humans, and the purpose and results of human creation. First, it is the position and role of the teacher. In myth, being like a teacher is a divine being that transcends human ability. In Dangun mythology, Hwanwoong or Shinwoong descended from heaven, and in the Genesis it is the Creator God. In Dangun mythology, the role of the teacher guides the way of becoming a human and provides necessary tasks. In Genesis, the image of the teacher is the Creator God. God plays the role of a teacher who prepares various environments in which learners can work. Second, the status and role of students in myths. In Dangun mythology, students are symbolized by bear and tiger. They go to the teacher with the desire to become human beings. In Dangun mythology, the student is not a passive existence but an autonomous and active image. In Genesis, the appearance of a student is a passive being created by a teacher. Third, the creation of human beings in myth can be seen in terms of educational process and method. In Dangun Myth, the beginning of education is the wish or expectation of learners. Learners eat mugwort and garlic and participate in human learning. In Genesis 1, however, there is no need for a special method, since human beings are created according to the Creator's command. Fourth, the purpose of education can be discussed through the purpose of human creation. In Dangun mythology, the purpose of education is not to live according to instinct but to become human with culture and personality. In Genesis 1, the purpose of human creation is the role of the Creator in creating and managing the world. Therefore, it is the aim of humans to manage the world in an orderly manner. The purpose of education in Genesis 2 is to enable humans to serve the world.

Data were collected from 294 child care teachers in child care centers located in four cities labeled A, B and C through a structured questionnaire. To describe data the Pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis were computed. The level of child care center director's leadership which child care teacher perceived was 3.64 points in a scale of 5 points, child care teacher's empowerment was 3.50 points in a scale of 5 points and followership was 3.30 points in a scale of 5 points. COMMENT A positive correlations were found between leadership, empowerment and followership. Followership was shown to be a mediating variable between child care teachers' perceptions of leadership and empowerment. Furthermore, results also showed a strong relationship between the leadership of child-care center director and the child-care teachers' followership and empowerment, thus implying that the child-care teachers' followership is very important to increase the empowerment.
